Meroki will give a handshake to Zvedza. And judging by what I think is the room we're currently at, the only path is a downwards corridor that turns left?
Meroki can see in the dark, but he's not sure about all his companions. So he'll wait til everyone decides to advance.

With a resounding clamour, Sosen falls to the dungeon floor and lies still as the moments pass. As the others make it down the rope, the goblin will groan and roll onto her hands and knees, shaking her head to clear out the beetles flying in little circles around her head. "Who pushed me? And why didn't anybody catch me?"
Sosen does a silent inventory of arms, legs, face, nose, teeth, nails... and then her equipment before slowly regaining her feet to stand wobbly and then lean against the nearest wall.
"Don't you just love when a new adventure starts off on the perfect note?" She groans as she moves her head and her neck POPS with a loud snap.
"Oh, Sorry. Not fast enough. But you're all yeet, yes?" Zvedza not quite getting the vernacular correct as he asks Sosen if she's ok.
((I think we are good for the climb down, but just because it's hard to use reactions in PbP sometimes. Zved does have Featherfall and it's safe to assume he'll use it to help anyone falling 50' or more.))
Ea rushes into the tavern, cursing herself for losing track of time and being so late. With a quick glance around, she spots the well and hurries over, only stopping to pay the gold. She descends quickly but carefully, hoping she wasn’t too far behind.
A dwarf in the tavern roars with laughter and slams 5 go on the table. 5 gold dragon says the monk dies first!!!
A rakish, red-skinned tiefling with pale blue eyes and bright, silvery hair to match his silvery horns playfully maneuvers his way through the crowd toward the eponymous portal with the grace and style of a young Fred Astaire. Turning this way... stepping that... gracefully dodging the frothing mug of broadly gesturing half-orc as if dancing to some obscure musical cadence threaded through ambient din of the tavern's hurlyburly .
After swiping a patron's cup of wine to drink and tapping another on the shoulder to create a distracting conflict between the two, he overhears the dwarf's wager against the monk.
The tiefling sets aside the stolen wine and makes a brief detour in the direction of the wagering dwarf, nimbly hopping over a the passed out form of an over-served halfling without looking as he produces a small item from his pocket -- a black pearl worth a modest fortune. "Five gold? Really?" Says the tiefling, pulling away the dwarf's attention as he passes the pearl between his fingers like David Bowie in Labrynth. "Darling, don't embarrass yourself. You want to wager on me and my friends, let's at least make it tasty, shall we? How about this... Five hundred gold says each and every one of us comes back alive. I'll wager this against..."The tiefling studies the dwarf for a moment... "...your beard. What say you, brother gambler?"
If the dwarf agrees to the deal, Psalm will toss him the pearl as "collateral" expressing unconcerned confidence that he will be be able to reclaim it, along with the dwarf's beard, once the party returns from the undermountain.
Once his business with the the dwarf is concluded, the tiefling with make his way to the portal and slides down the rope with a flourish, ending in a bow (of course) and eager to face whatever horrors this legendary death trap has to offer.
This is Psalm, a slightly mad, playfully reckless swashbuckler who enjoys leaving a trail of empty wallets and humiliated enemies everywhere he wanders. He struck it rich early in his adventures (or, at least that's his story) and, ever since, doesn't seem to have a very firm grip on the value of money or the permanence of mortality.
He's a fiercely loyal friend, audaciously charming yet surprisingly empathetic and emotionally grounded when he needs to be. He'd die for each and every one of you in a heartbeat and do so with a wink and a puckish smile as the jaws of death chomp down on him.
Ra’chi shook her head as the patrons were taking bets on their survival. “Right because that’s the proper thing to do.” She took the rope given to her and she tied it off to the crane arm. She began the descent down into the undermount. Her eyes would glow like cat eyes and she looked around the 40x40 room. Before anything else happened she would try to shift into the shadow but would trip on some bones. (7 on a stealth check.) She let out a sigh. “Of course…” she would draw her great sword at the ready incase there was an ambush as the rest of her party went down the rope.
Once they were all here she would look to her party. “Should we decide a marching order? None of us are really suited for a frontal assault. Plus we all know how deadly this place is we know the stories..” she said still looking around.
Ooc: with a passive perception of 14 does she see anything that would connect this room to the hallway in the picture?
Meroki will just look at Ra'chi and then at the rest of the party and say "I'll go in the front, if no one objects. I know my sight isn't the best, but I can probably get out of Dodge from most traps and if we do get attacked, I'm confident I won't get knocked out immediately."
He'll say this while holding his comically large backpack filled with food and some tools. And he'll offer Sosen a snack for not catching her while he was distracted.
"I don't mind rear guard. Should we search the room just to make sure we aren't missing anything?" Casually scanning the walls. If this was the main entrance, there probably wasn't much interesting to find. Zvedza adjusted his pack and readied his shield, muttering to himself, "Curiosity makes you go splat."
“If no one has a problem with it, I’ll go in front of Zvedza.” Ea says, before double checking her armor was situated correctly and she had her weapons at the ready. She takes out her crossbow, not entirely sure what to expect in the dungeon but wanting to be ready at a moment's notice. She takes a breath before looking around at the others, ready to move forward whenever they were.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alright then. Meroki is gonna look around the room for any traps or treasures before heading deeper. "Zvedza is right. It wouldn't hurt to take a look before moving forward. We might find something useful someone dropped", he'll say with an optimistic attitude.
"Ea, just remember - Zvedea can stare a hole through a 9 layer petticoat. So, if you feel like you are being watched... ," Sosen snarked as her head was finally clearing up.
Smiling at Meroki, she patted her stomach and pointed to her open maw, "More, please sir?" Her stomach rumbled for added emphasis. "You know this little body burns up food and drink faster than you lumbering tentpoles." Sosen's face fell for a moment as Meroki slowly shook his head at the goblin. " I know. I know. Conserve. We do not know how long we might be down here and can not keep running back to the tavern every time my stomach talks." Sosen struck a fist at the wall she had been leaning on.

Sosen glares at the dark room and her darker thoughts. "By Selune's left... er.... um.... we are scrambling in the dark for no reason." So saying, she pulls a regular, old stone out of her pouch and mutters words as she gestures at it.
Light She holds the blue white, gleaming stone aloft to bath the wall nearest her.
"That might not help AT ALL but, at least we know where we are. OH... anyone have some charcoal sticks or chalk? We can make some kind of mark so we know what we have looked at and which way we turn later on." Sosen is rummaging in her pouches and pockets as she speaks.
Meroki speaks up, "I don't have chalk or charcoal, but I do have my hammer and piton. We could use them to make distinct marks on the walls as we go. It should serve the same purpose and be more permanent."
Anyone with Proficiency in Cartographer's Supplies? You could make a map. The Great Old One known as the Dungeon Master can present a random warlock with paper.

"I'm not specifically a cartographer, but I'm reasonable with navigation and I have writing supplies. I will do my best to keep track. Open skies are more my strength." Zvedza speaks in a deep voice that contrasts sharply with his youthful features."If that will do."
