This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If possible, Thelion would like to target the most wounded, I believe is O3. Thalion will use his movement to gain space from the charging orcs and target O3 within normal range. Thailon attack on O3 with longbow: 18 Damage: 10 (Crit: 8)
If I understand the result of the entangle spell, only one Orc is held by the spell. He believes he can do better, he will break his concentration on the existing spell and recast it. Pippin tries to entangle a group of orcs again to help his comrades in arms. If he needs to move to get a better position, he will. Pippin targets a group for Entangle: and casts it.

I have never been involved in combat like this, yet if I read this the way it is presented, it seems like the orc are rolling higher attack values. I can't tell if those rolls are high enough to take damage. Perhaps a red damage number means real damage, but there are plenty of examples where that can't be right. If we are getting our butts kicked, we need to change tactics, and fast. Thinks Thalion.

The Orcs have higher hitpoints, higher to-hit, and deal higher damage. They just started winning, even with the surprise round. It's quickly becoming a one-sided combat.

Thalion sees medics, battalions, squads, etc, descending on your location, some coming from Far Outpost, the others coming from the East and West.

I think I'm going to play this out until we all die. A wipe is fine. The goal was to learn how this interface works, mission accomplished. Sad thing is, I don't know how I'd play this differently if the combat happened next time I play, they came at us. Regardless... here we go. Let's kick some butt. FTW!!!
Thalion not having any healing spells feels it bet to try and kill an orc that might get a getting a killing hit on a wounded soldier. Targets O11 or maybe O12, difficult to tell. Longbow attack: 13 Damage: 9 Crit: 3
Pippin, burned his two spell slots, so can't cast cure wounds, and frankly is holding 3 so curing one soldier and releasing 3 orcs would not be good, so it does not matter, he maintains his concentration on the orcs and continues to move, perhaps concealing himself to reduce the chance that he will be attacked. Pippin maintains concentration on Entangle. I believe he is unable to use his shortbow, while concentrating, however, if he can while maintain his concentration, please advise and he will do so.

Concentration is a new thing in 5e. The only restriction is that you must make constitution saving throws to maintain concentration if you take damage and one save for every source of damage taken. But the second and only other thing to be mindful of, is you can't cast a second spell requiring concentration. Back to the Action Economy, you can only concentrate on one spell at a time, so some players interpret that as every character has a concentration "slot" and if you aren't concentrating on something, you are not maximizing your actions.
So Pippin can do anything and everything, even cast a concentration spell, it just cancels the one that's he's already cast.
Since the DM has not posted, then technically, I'm still in Thalion's turn....
Thalion uses his MOVE to get to Lieutenant Grimes, and puts his back against the Lieutenant's and gets 6 words, I believe, so he yells: "We've got this Lieutenant ... WhoRah!" and prepares for his Last Stand... as it is extremely unlikely that the reinforcements can get to us in time.
