"Nestled in the Kingdom of Fiore, between the Titan Spine mountains, is the town of Phandalin. Centuries ago, Phandalin was a thriving settlement with deep ties to its neighboring communities. But then bandits overran the town, and Phandalin lay abandoned for centuries.
Only in the past few years have settlers built a new village on the ruins of the old. These townsfolk hope to grow Phandalin through hard work, camaraderie, and the shared purpose of building a lasting home. Threatening their efforts and their survival are bandits, brigands, and monsters."
Hello, I am recruiting around 3 or 4 players for a playthrough of Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk in my homebrew setting of Karneth. I am going for a somewhat light hearted, high fantasy setting, and will include a lot of stuff from different published settings so I hope you don't mind some connections like Ravnica or Forgotten Realms. There won't be any race restrictions except for the Humblewood races, along with the subclasses from Humblewood. I also will not be allowing evil characters, I am sorry if you wanted to play an evil character.
Here are some factions your character can be part of to be more part of this world, also, the deities of Karneth
The Lords Circle. The Lords Circle is a group that consists of each of the leaders in Karneth outside of Inys, it is an old group originated to fight against the Empire of Inys, and it's God Queen, before she ascended to Godhood and became the Queen of Spiders.
The Order of the Holy Flame. A group of military clerics and paladins that worship the holy flame, which includes many deities of the sun.
The Druids of the Old Faith. These druids and rangers worship the old ways and old gods of Karneth, focusing on sacrifices of food and animals to appease their gods.
The Golden Table. A collection of merchant guilds, along with the other guilds that focus on craft and commerce.
The Bladesingers. A very famous group of bards and fighters that take their music around the world.
For character creation, you can do standard array, or roll for them, and for classes, the standard 13 classes are allowed, along with the bloodhunter class.
I would like to do a servant of the Druids of Old of The Faith, a young a owlin who hunts down (blood hunter), creatures or rogue servants of the darker older gods. I can post once to twice a day.
Alright well I will close the recruitment because I have enough players, before I post the starter of the adventure I will wait for the rest of you guys to make or flesh out your characters!
Oh and I forgot to include this but with my specific job, I will be mainly active during the morning and late night, and sometimes during the afternoon so if I do not do a reply, that is why. Also later on I will give a link to my world anvil page for my setting for y'all so you can have some lore
Thulewyn Thunderwood is an average sized dwarf, one of his most stand out features is shaved beard. A shaved dwarf isn't unheard of but certainly isn't the normal look. He carries a long bow that's almost to tall for him to carry but he maneuvers it about as he moves about with the grace of experience in handling it. He has a few scars on the top of his face which are visible in his short hair stlye that run down into his brow. He wears scale mail armor, clinking as he moves about.
Katarina Spring Blossom is a Tabaxi Barbarian with brown fur and a long, thick mane. Not especially tall for a member of her race... in fact, she's a little bit on the shorter side... but she has a very athletic build. She carries herself with a surprising amount of grace both in and out of battle, and she has a regal way about her that strongly hints she comes from a wealthy and prestigious family.
Though normally a sweet girl, Katarina has a fiery temper that can sometimes get the better of her. And unfortunately, that is why she has found herself travelling the world as a vagabond adventurer rather than living comfortably in her father's mansion. In a heated argument with her elder sister, Katarina lost her temper and came within a hair's breadth of murdering the other tabaxi. Filled with shame and guilt, Katarina left behind her old life to make her own way in the world.
Xanovar is a tall-ish, lanky half elf who from a distance appears human, with wild unkempt brown hair and watery brown eyes he looks like someone who would be more at home locked away in a dark library or some underground workshop than a person who is ready to brave the frontiers. Sticking up from his bird's nest of a mane are what appear to be two twigs, but on closer inspection are in fact two thin antlers. His naturally olive coloured skin is pale and tight on his painfully thin frame. He wears a threadbare, faded red cloak and a grayish surcoat.
In contrast to the rest of him however, are his hands and his tools. On his back is a backpack and hanging from both his pack and various belts and bandoliers across his body are an odd assortment of tools. Everything from a crowbar and hammer to the small brazier and miniature files used almost exclusively by jewellers. His tools are immaculately cared for and appear to be in perfect condition, but for the handles which show signs of use and wear. Xanovar's hands are long and his fingers appear to be thin, nimble, and dextrous like those of a pianist or a jeweller. He has all of the callouses you would expect of a man who works with his hands for a living but none of the scars, indicating someone who is either incredibly lucky or incredibly skilled.
Through the holes in his surcoat, and beneath his cloak he appears to be wearing a shirt of bronze scales and strapped to his thigh is a leather holster covered by a flap.

I like the variation in stats so I'll roll (without rerolling ones):
Ability scores: 13 13 12 15 7 14
I wont be allowed rerolling ones but there is nothing wrong with variation lol, do you have a character concept?
I have a Tabaxi Wild Magic Barbarian who could really use a campaign home... I'll go ahead and try rolling stats here.
Ability scores: 14 14 16 13 12 15
Okay, besides the 17 that is absolutely disgusting. Can I switch to point buy?
If you would like, you can use the standard array
I have a couple of character ideas but will try rolling here to see if the stats help me make a decision between them.
Ability scores: 12 13 14 9 5 13
That makes things tough, but I'll have a think about a few character options and post back.
Alright well I will close the recruitment because I have enough players, before I post the starter of the adventure I will wait for the rest of you guys to make or flesh out your characters!
Alright, there is nothing wrong with low stats, there is also the option of standard array if you feel more comfortable with that

Alright!
I am sorry everyone for taking a while, but if you don't mind I would like you guys to introduce your characters!
