Arya attacks calling flame to her sword 23 damage 52 Aeliarin drops a web on the two giants Save1 12 Save2 11 catching both of them
Initiative Round 1
30 Arya (not wanting to set the web on fire) steps back and sheaths her sword and out with the bow 29 Damage: 28 20 Gijigume (Posted way out of order so he goes 'last') the giant goes down in flurry of blows 17 Aeliarin uses Fire Bolt on the wounded giant for 19 damage, that section of the web bursts into flame for 6 damage freeing the giant 13 Khalin Gool casts Toll the Dead and the giant saves 16 successfully 13 Fah'lin because Aeliarin burnt the creature free you only get one hit for 14 damage 7 Thar casts Toll the Dead and the giant saves 5 fail 5 Giants the giant still in the web tries to free itself 16 Not quite. The other smashes Fah'lin twice 2426 That's two hits for 44 but as he sheilds himself the blows bounce away
Damage
FG1 dead FG2 113
Initiative Round 2
30 Arya shoots another arrow 26 for 24 damage 20 Gijigume moves to the second giant and stabs him twice for 35 damage 17 Aeliarin casts Toll the dead (Save: 7) fail and 12 damage 13 Khalin Gool casts cloud of daggers on the giant for 7 damage 13 Fah'lin (as this is against the webbed giant you get advantage so three more rolls 131912) three hits for 32 damage 7 Thar (this is hardly worth the effort) Thar casts Toll for 3 damage Save: 4 5 Giants tries to break free of the web 10 and fails. There's not a hope that he will survive another round so you win
It appears that web is far more effective against giants than I initially thought.
These giants have nothing of value. There is a passage further into the complex and behind you are two other caves with giants. What now?
Khalin Gool will use his 'Spell Scroll' and cast "Cloud of Daggers' around the head of the webbed Giant Dmg : 14 Damage: 4 The 4 is extra dmg because of proficiency, yes?
Spell lasts 1 min, if it moves, bingo another 10d4 + 4, yes?
That was very confusing and confused, Cloud of Daggers has no attack roll or saving throw. It just does 4d4 damage to whoever is in the area of effect unless cast at a higher level than a 2nd level spell. As this is from a scroll it would be at base level unless otherwise specified in the item description. so, 7 damage.
"Aye, 't the forge I'll be abl' t' make some potions," Khalin Gool chuckles as he hacks out a couple of giant gall bladders. "HeeHee! vunderful stuff in these, mak ye formidable, tough as oak ye may ken." He carefully stashes things, wipes his hands in the giants hair. "L'es go, yes?"

Let's go... but the question is where. Do you want to ignore the two caves with giants behind you and move on into the complex?
Arya to Thar "Another Invisibility spell please. I think when we finish here its back to the forge for a ring of invisibility."
"Well little one," says Thar, "I only have enough power for a couple more before I would need to rest and recover. So how about we try the same tactic on the hill giants. Catching them in a web seems to work well though this time they will get back up so being ready to hopefully web the stone giants as they come in. Unless your earlier scouting suggests the other way around would work better. As before I will cast a stronger Invisibility (3rd level) so if someone else also wants to be unseen let me know."

"The stone giant's cave is too wide for a web to work properly but it thins down at the entrance. We could probably draw them out of the cave before trapping them. Aeliarin can do web? So maybe invis him so that he can wait near their entrance to catch the stone giants as they come out."
"How many giant's be we lookin t' slay? Mayhaps I kin git one t' come oot o' the cave, tickle 'is mind a wee bit, git 'm curious ye see." Khalin Gool utters a slightly hysterical muttered chuckle. "O' course, it could jes mak' 'im alert; but I'd be suggestin' to 'im to come look oot the entrance, like ma'be ther's som'tnin' 'e should might wanna look at. Worth a shoot, eh?" He riffles the pages of his burnt and tattered tome, "Zhlyisar, mele tikle friltan! Hehehe? Yousg nortal blii!" And he giggles some more, sotto voce of course.
If everyone is agreeable, Khalin Gool will carefully more to the entrance of the chamber the giants are in, until he can get the barest glimpse of the first visible one, at which point he will strongly 'suggest' telepathically that his target should come out and 'take a peek around...trying to keep his suggestion to the level of an urge, as it were.

The cave with the hill giants has 5 and the cave with the stone giants has two. Invisible Arya is willing to set up and do surprise damage on a giant coming from a cave. The hill giants are closest to the exit of the cul de sac ie if you start with the stone giants the hill giants are between you and the rest of the complex..
"I think from what Arya said," says Thar "we should start with the hill giants as they are closest to the exit of the cul de sac. So whilst the stone giants will hear it they would not seem to be able to raise the alarm with the rest of the complex without going passed us. We could keep the fight a bit more contained."
Khalin Gool will prepare two xbow bolts with Purple Worm poison (12d6 dmg 1/2 with CON DC19 save) and then, when everyone is set quiet, quiet toe-heel to the Hill giant section just until he can see the slightest bit of giant and then 'tickle' it's mind with the need to check outside.

Arya to Thar "Another Invisibility spell please. I think when we finish here its back to the forge for a ring of invisibility."
Arya has forgotten that an Invisibility Ring is a legendary item so your chances of making one aren't good.

Aeliarin is up for the challenge; he can convert his 3rd level and higher spells into Web as needed.
Does Arya see any reason to bother with the stone giants? If not we can let them be. Fah'lin nods to Khalin and readies an Eldritch Blast.
