Race: Human (Auburn hair, pale skin, freckles, dark green eyes.)
Class: Wizard (School of Necromancy)
Background: Noble (She dresses fancy, but she is very forward and genuine.)
Backstory: Charlotte has been a devout necromancy self-taught student for years. She left her aristocratic homestead years ago to pursue her quest for knowledge of what lies beyond death. The cumulative discoveries she's made during her studies and adventures only deepened her thirst for the mastery of her art. Her quest was more than one of power through knowledge; she was genuinely interested in the various cultures' views on life after death. It's through this sort of pilgrimage that she ended up hearing about the Dusk Queen's mirror. Through her life of studies, she always read of powerful artifacts, but never came close to one. The fey were also a subject of her interest, as she knew about the Feywild and its endless dusked or dawned sky. These mirror shards... The story behind them and what they could do... And how close they are to one's grasp, all she would really need to do is to find them in the forest. And so driven by her curiosity, she took her leave and started her journey to the fabled forest.
Backstory: Vigs is a Kobald tinkerer yet he thinks of himself as more Gnomish and lizard-like. During his life in his home warren, he watched and studied the tinkerers that worked there, fascinated by the creations they made. When he grew up he trained to become one, until the gnomes came. A group of Gnomes from a land not near traveled through their land and were subsequently ambushed. The raiding party had come back in shambles but with one trophy from the loss, a crossbow that spat out five bolts at once. This fascinated Vigs and as he sat in his animal hide bed he made his decision and left the warren to find this group of Gnomish inventors, to find the secrets to this great technology. His tribe did not approve of this in any way, calling him a traitor and a gnome lover as he left his home. The travel to the Guild's home shop was a long and dangerous but he made it, doing deeds for people to get him pointed in the right direction. The gnomes were skeptical of Vigs, a kobold who wished to study their craft and would have thrown him out, but an old master craftsman Arifitz said that he would take Vigs as an apprentice and that as long as they taught him right he would be a fine member of the Guild. Vigs studied under Master Arifitz for ten years after they first met, Vigs time there was hard as he was not well liked by his fellow apprentices but he almost didn't notice, he was always so eager and excited about learning this craft. During his time in the Guild, he took a job as a smith's assistant at the local smithy learning how to make things out of metal. Two weeks after the anniversary of him getting his apprenticeship he was told that he and several other apprentices were going to take part in a quest to reach the rank of Junior Artisan, this quest would involve him leaving the guild for some time and crafting his own invention to present to the guild. Vigs was ecstatic about this and had his small amount of things packed by the end of the night. He was given his quest midday, and he was off, a letter of introduction from the Guild, so as to let others know that this Vigs was truly a member. During his training he had heard stories of the Dusk Queen and her mirror and had got it in his head that if he could find it he might be able to use it as a magical power source for whatever he was going to make, or that it would at least make it look prettier, so he went for the Dusk Queen's Forest, content with his plan.
And the recruitment period is now over! Thank you for those of you that want to play this! I will now look over the characters, and make choices. Those who are chosen will be PMed the OOC for the group, which will also include a link to the game thread and the campaign!
