Ragnar resists the thunderous wave of magical energy, digging his heels into the dirt. The lead Svartalf's eyes widen as his magic passes over Ragnar, leaving him (mostly) unharmed. Take 1 damage.
Around the side of the building Hem struggles with the door. Finding it locked, but weak, Hem focuses his Ki to strike swiftly, yet silently. Unfortunately, the halfling doesn't know his own strength. The door is knocked off its hinges and the handle practically shatters under the force of the blow. You can only hope the blast of thunder covered up some of the noise. The inside of the building is cramped and poorly lit in the traditional Svartalf style. The air smells of dirt and decay. No Svartalf stands before you, and a small hallway leads further into the warehouse. (Due to the poor lighting you'll suffer disadvantage on any sight-based rolls while inside unless you have low-light or darkvision or create a lightsource.)
The three Svartalf's facing Ragnar grin maniacally and brandish their weapons. The lead dark elf steps back behind the others, but not before unleashing the telltale runes of magical energy. He laughs "I'll make you regret ever messing with clan Auvryndar!". Ragnar, you feel strange as the spell washes over you. Despite the severity of facing down three armed dark elves hellbent on your demise, everything seems...funny. No...not funny, HILARIOUS. A great fit of laughter overtakes you. This is truly the funniest thing you've ever seen! No matter where you look, the grinning faces of the Svartalf's, the gleaming steel in their hands, the stain on the wall that you're fairly certain is piss, you're overwhelmed with the urge to laugh!
Please make a Wisdom saving throw. (If you don't succeed you fall prone, unable to move or do anything else as waves of hideous and uncontrollable laughter overtake your body. You may also make an additional Wisdom saving throw at the end of your turn if the first is unsuccessful.)
Sensing a moment of weakness, one of the other Svartalf's push forward. They take up defensive positions in the doorway, eyes scanning the surrounding street. However, they don't appear to notice the cunningly hidden Roondar lurking in wait.

Hem carefully climbed over the broken door, looking on with mild surprise at the force he'd imposed on it. He shook his hands out and cracked his knuckles, trying to peer through the darkness. He looked to his side and whispered to Cerridwen, "let's stick to the walls and try and keep our eyes peeled. I'd rather not lose any advantage we may still have by lighting a torch..."
Listening curiously to what had to be the dwarf's cries of rage turn to raucous laughter, Hem stuck to the shadows and moved down the hallway as cautiously and quietly as he could, squinting through the darkness and cursing the dark elves love of dark places.

Roondar watches from the shadows as Ragnar falls into fits of hilarity. Rolling his eyes a bit he mutters, "Two can play that game, elf..." Glaring at the caster he whispers a much hated, but little-known tune...

Vahlen stows his poisoned blades for the moment, drawing his longbow. Nocking an arrow, he peeks out from his position behind a pile of rubble and splintered timbers from one of the crumbling buildings adjacent to the warehouse. The svartalfs seemed unaware of his presence. As Ragnar doubles over, roaring with laughter, he sees his opening. He exhales half a breath, the yew limbs strained in full draw. "Goodnight," he whispers, and looses an arrow at the svartalf closest to his companion.

Unfortunately, the Svartalf's magic takes hold of Ragnar, forcing the barbarian to his knees in a fit of uncontrollable laughter. The uncanny sound echoes through the night air. The arcane prowess of the dark elves holds true as Roondar's flawless rendition of one of the deadliest songs in the North fails to take hold. Fortunately, Vahlen's shot flies true. The arrow hits the Svartalf straight in the chest, knocking him back, dead on the spot.
Inside the building: Unfortunately for Hem, the darkness of the building's interior is suffocating and you can barely see more than a few feet in front of you. Hopefully that darkness works in your advantage as well! Down the hallway you come to a set of doors, both closed, one leading to the left and one to the right.
