Galdr frowns in disgust at the doors. “Pathetic craftsmanship or a waste of an entrance with a crude trap.”
He walks over to the tunnel, using the mage hand to hold the vines away from the entrance so he can enter without hassle. The gnome proceeds into the room, but quickly pauses as his bat zooms forward to search the space with its senses.
He then warns, “Often in these spaces, you will find the obvious path is the more lethal way to go.”
The gnome pulls out its ornate tome once more and begins to recite the same incantation since he left the wreckage.
Once everyone is inside Wreckzors will point his torch at the red path "I think maybe we should follow this path as well." Wreckzors will walk directly to the nearest bit of red floor and then proceed to head south once everyone is ready. He is going to make extra special care to ONLY walk on the red tiles.
Wreckzors is going to keep his eyes peeled and also try very hard to inspect the paintings as he goes through the room. Perception = 18
Wreckzors is going to try to investigate this red path closer as well. Investigation = 12
Wreckzors - as you walk along the winding red path it takes you closer to the West wall, near the image of what looks like it might be a wizard's work room. Two jackal-headed human figures are painted so as to appear to be standing in the room holding a bronze chest.
You glance doen and see there appears to be some faint runes in the red tiles that start at one end and continue all the way down the red path. It's not a repeating pattern and appears to be a message written in a language you can't read
You don't recognize the symbols from any religious texts, but you get a feeling like you can almost understand what it means as you look at the nearby runes. But the feeling fades when you look away.
Flynt scratches his chin. "There's nothing too religious about these runes." He stops for a moment, thinking about the runes one last time before he whispers a prayer. "Oh silver lady Selune, I pray for guidance in this Tomb or at least something to help me help my new friends."

Galdr - with Detect Magic going you can see that the runes do have a faint glow, they are enchanted in some way. You also see the large painting of a face glowing brightly from the far side of the room. You can also make out an archway near the end of the tunnel, on the wall beside the face, that glows as well.
You get the same feeling as Flynt while looking over the words, like you can almost read them, as if they get clearer as you scan your eyes down the path.
Wreckzors will stop and accompany anyone getting close to examine any of the room features so that he can attempt to protect them if a threat appears. Otherwise he will stand on the red path ready to head south.

Galdr focuses on each glow in turn, carefully allowing his mystical vision to clarify what schools of magic are before him.
OOC: Does the gnome recognize any school of magic associated with the runes, the face, and the archway?
Galdr will also investigate the murals for useful details about what the temple contains or represents.

He sends his bat to flit around the face and archway (not entering either if openings exist). When he is done studying the murals, he will switch to the bat's senses (especially its blindsight 60ft) to investigate the archway and mouth, as well as beyond them if any spaces or objects within said spaces are detected.
Galdr - you sense the runes on the floor are some form of Enchantment Magic, the arch down the tunnel radiates Conjuration magic. And the face you can't tell, the longer you stare at it the more uneasy you feel.
You see scenes in the murals that look like they might be from different myths and religions in the lands surrounding the swamp. But if theres a meaning to them, you can't tell.
As the bat approaches the Arch it lights up. First yellow on the left half, then Orange on the right. And lastly the Keystone at the top glows blue. The bat can also see that the archway is full of a hanging thick mist. And you can't see into it.

The gnome looks at his beefy fellow survivors for a moment and asks in a tone that suggests he already knows the answer, "Do any of you have Dispel Magic prepared?"
He then closes his eyes and begins to silently meditate, resting his weight via both hands on his swagger stick.

Noticing the runes, Wreckzors yells "hey guys! Look at these runes. I cannot read what they say. Anyone else want to take a shot?
Flynt examines the runes. "Let me see if they are affiliated with any deity?"

Crom got accostumed to the light but he will never get accustomed with mage and the like, even if he appreciated many times it’s useful.
He doesn’t understand what everybody is doing but he thinks best not to give up his day job for the moment

It's Evil as ****
Wreckzors will approach the Picture of the open mouth with the big black O mouth..... "Hmmm, I wonder what happens if I do this... "
Wreckzors is going to attempt to throw his handaxe into the center of the "O" that the scary face is making. to hit the center = 21 damage = 11
Crom, even if he likes Wreckzors aptitude, cannor refrain from saying:
"oh, damn!"
,
Wreckzors - Your axe flies into the mouth, disappearing into the blackness without a sound.
At the cost of soudning repetitive, Crom says
"oh, damn!"
