Kathleen says in a slightly more serious tone than her normal self, "So, how many lines are we going to form and who's going to be where? I'm good at ranged combat so I like to be at the back to support the front-line units and protect in support units at the back in case of an attack from behind."
Turning towards Azrael "Don't know what you want forgiveness for Mr. Dragonborn since you barely said anything." And in a playful jest he addes in Draconic "Guess I missed your name during your rather lengthy introduction." and Borak holds out his hand for a shake.
Thormund rises, lifting his pack onto his shoulders and taking his spear in one hand, almost like a staff. Turning towards Kathleen and nodding towards the tip of his spear "Got to be fairly close with this."
Quickly turning his attention to Gundren he asks "Will the two of you be accompanying the wagon as well?"
As the rest of the group discusses the journey, a female human steps forward. She approaches from any nearby woods to join the group. She stands at about 5'6" with hawk feathers woven into her long black hair. She is clad in modest scaled armor. As she approaches, she stows her ax and gives Gundren a warm smile. "Gundren, my friend!" She approaches the Dwarf and gives him a big hug! He would most definitely recognize her in her human form. "I apologize for being late. However, I am quite ready to set out." That's when she notices the others and gets noticeably more rigid. "Ah hmm...These must be the rest of the party, yes?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Azrael would grunt, a slight charge of electricity visible for the briefest moment before finally turning back to the Dwarf, Borak. He would take the Boraks' hand and give it a firm, and friendly shake. Then, saying "I may as well say this, to clear the air. And once again ask your personal forgiveness. I know-not your deity, but I can recognize your symbol to represent a patron. And forgive me for being blunt, but I have no need for delicacy - I would sooner worship you, than your god, though I will worship no other than Bahamut himself. Hopefully my meaning catches."
Pausing for a moment in his speech, before releasing Boraks hand from their shake, and then continuing. "But it is any deity other than Bahamut that I feel this way about. All other deities grant table scraps to their worshippers, and call them boons, all the while sitting in their realms, content to let you alone face the world and it's dangers. Bahamut, however, enters the world personally to smite the wicked, and help those in need, putting himself in harms way if needs be. So you have my respect facing your foes, but your deity never will lest he follow in Bahamuts example." finishing his monologue pointedly. "Anyway, hopefully that clears the air if it was needed, and it will not be a hindrance between us, I assure you. As for my name? You may call me Azrael, or Azure, if it suits you." he added.
Persuasion at Sildar - 7
Finally, turning to Sildar, saying matter-of-factly "While I can only speak for myself, I will protect this caravan with my life, if needs be. And I will take as many enemies, if any appear, with me, before I fall. Of this, I assure you. Though it is Ironic that you would sooner trust your lives to people you know nothing about, as opposed to a simple cart~" Letting the statement hang for a moment. However to Kathleen, he smiled his toothy, confident smirk, "And I assure you Kathleen, I'm just as dangerous up front as I am from afar, let them surround me and learn their doom." he says, before patting her on her tanned shoulder firmly.
At Thormunds words, he would say "Aye, let us be .." trailing off as the newcomer slipped from nearby, hugging their employer. "Ah, at last, the prodigal daughter arrives!"Obvious jest in his growling tone, before continuing "Shall we be off then?"
Kathleen says to Azure, "I can't let that happen. People you travel with who have a common goal are comparable to fellow soldiers in battle. I will not let my new companions fall."
She turns to the new party member and extends her hand in a friendly handshake. "You are going to be traveling with us, yes? I'm glad you can make it. I'm Kathleen Burns. I'm happy to be traveling with you Ms..."

She eyes you over once and then twice. Finally, she accepts your hand in her own strong grip. You can feel that her hand, though human in appearance, for whatever reason feels like it is quite larger. "Runmera..." Is all she says before removing her hand. "...You know Gundren?"
Kathleen says with a smile, "Not too well. He hired me and all the other fine gentlemen here to escort them to Phandalin." She has been smiling since she's go here.
"You seem Uh...quite happy" She remarks. Runmera can't help but arch a brow as that innocent looking smile sits so pleasantly on Kathleen's face. Still, she's always been more interested in Elvish Kind than humanity.
That seems to catch Runmera somewhat off guard. "Friends?" she looks around to the motley crew that's formed and then back to Kathleen. "All these people are your friends?"
"Like I said to Mr.Azrael not too long ago, people who travel together for a common goal are like soldiers in battle. We are going to be traveling to Phandalin together so I don't see why we shouldn't be considered friends."

Thormund remembers that battleaxe clan is a proud and famous clan originating from a stronghold of Garraz Duin.

Borak
Borak firmly graps Kathleens hand and shakes it. "Nice to meet you."
Trying to determine if Borak identifies Bahamuts symbol

Borak did recognized Bahamuts symbol.

Borak
"My battleaxe has a limited reach, so I'll be in the front and I would advise to not stand between it and the enemy."
Kathleen nods as Thormund points to his spear. "Great! I'll be at the back with Mr.Azrael and lay down supporting fire."
Sildar answered:
"Do you really think we can give this wagon to people we know almost nothing about?" - he blasted with laughter.
Thormund shrugs. "I am not to know your intentions. If there is nothing else, shall we make haste?"

Occassional Dungeon Master.
Kathleen says to Azure, "I can't let that happen. People you travel with who have a common goal are comparable to fellow soldiers in battle. I will not let my new companions fall."

Kathleen answers, "Well, nothing brings me more joy than traveling to new places with friends."
That seems to catch Runmera somewhat off guard. "Friends?" she looks around to the motley crew that's formed and then back to Kathleen. "All these people are your friends?"
Thormund will raise his free hand in greeting at the new arrival, "Hail," then, pointing to himself, "Thormund."
Obviously itchy to set off, he absently adjusts and readjusts his pack.
"Like I said to Mr.Azrael not too long ago, people who travel together for a common goal are like soldiers in battle. We are going to be traveling to Phandalin together so I don't see why we shouldn't be considered friends."
