Seated upon the deck of a skycoach, the six adventurers soar through the sky as they begin to head through the districts of Sharn. Their coach driver, Biff, asks about their destination and what their job is. He has been paid off a good amount of gold pieces and seems to be staying bought currently.
Ms. Blue (aka Boo) sits in the back of the skycoach dressed as a masked jester when she hears the driver, Biff question about their job she lets out a shrill whine, "JOB, what's this about a job, you guys said we were going to a special by invite only mystery dinner theater show! Dressed up all special for it too..."gives the gnome a playful smack, "leave it to you not to tell me what's what... better be a party waiting for us at the end of this ride is all I got to say!"
Boo being Boo is not sure about how much to tell the driver thus her little diversion to avoid the question, she will not give the driver the destination, letting those with her who scouted the area, etc. knowing it better talk to the driver where exactly to go... giving her a moment to sit back and check up on Guido with the other group.
(I might have to come up with a new code name for Carrick if Boo is going to be Ms. Blue)
Sorry, didn't know/realize you picked that color, but even so, there could be a Mr. Blue and a Ms. Blue, between all the changelings, the disguises and code names its a real challenge just keeping up with everything.
(I'm not sure but I think we're supposed to get on the train from Middle Northedge)
Eldin will instruct the driver on where to go. He will make him take a few detours (but not enough that we'd fall behind schedule.) before finally arriving a short distance away from the spot where the group is supposed to board the train. If Eldin gives his directions right, the sky coach should stop at around 9:40 PM. To reach the place where the group is supposed to board the train from where Eldin will tell the driver to stop the coach, it should take 10 minutes.
The skycoach flies around the tall spires of the city, eventually making its way along towards the drop-off point. "Right, so what do you need me to do?" Biff asks. He sounds a little eager, like he's been looking for an in into doing something like this for a while.
The lightning rail is expected to be arriving into the city's boundaries within the next 15 minutes, giving the group a slight bit of prep time.
(Remember: You have access to your heist points if they are required. If you feel the need to use one for some retroactive planning/purchasing, it'll be done on the main thread.)
Eldin instructs Biff to go to the cab hiding spot the other party members found and wait there.
If Eldin's directions were followed, the group is still to walk to where they're supposed to get on the train. Eldin will fix his mask up and make sure his identity is concealed and then head to the fixed location.
Just so we're clear, Eldin is going by the name "Night" for the entire duration of this mission. He will also call each of the other PCs by their code names (regardless of whether his player remembers said names or not.)
"Well Ms Blue I think that would be a brillant idea. Got any silk rope on you? Just in case you need to tie yourself down or anchor yourself. If I remember correctly those trains go rather fast. Wouldn't want such a lovely lady to hurt herself."
Mr Yellow gives a small bow and whispers... " or if I need to grasp at something."
Ms. Blue shakes her head, "sorry Mr. Yellow I have no rope at all I fear... just a ball of twine, an excellent idea if someone has any rope though. Will you be jumping or using a feather fall token, I cannot carry you, far to small for that... but perhaps if you were using a token then I might be able to at least help guide/steer your decent and get you to a good spot, help each other."
Just an idea, don't know how workable it is but sorry Boo has no rope in her equipment list.
This chat is for one of the two groups of The Shards of Sharn.
This starts as part of Chapter 1, the initial divergence of the groups starting here as they join aboard a skycoach on their first heist.

Any rolls you want me to make for this?
Ith looks at his stuff one more time.
He adjusts his own jester mask and makes sure the yellow sash is in place. "Mr. Yellow. We'll see." He muses.

"Don't think we'll have much time. Who is going in first? Anyone flying?"

Boo quietly feeling a little nervous gets herself ready to follow the others. "I can fly... and go first then if you like."

Eldin turns back at Mr.Blue and tosses his rope at her. "I always carry a piece of rope. You never know when it might come in handy."
Ms. Blue catches the rope and ties it around her and offers the other end to Mr. Yellow to manage, then turns to Mr. Night, "thank you, kind sir."
