"We've got a friend over there named Erik who would surely like to meet you." Dahme'dre says, "Would you be a dear, and show us the way?" 

Sunny's eyebrows shoot up and he turns to Dahme'dre. "You know Erik? Erik Hoofsby? Springbok chimera? Little deer-headed guy with curly horns?"

Alijurn looks at their captive with some scepticism. "I agree on the fact that we should get our informant to stay low and quiet until this whole things blows off, but shoving all of our extra luggage at Millie would be an awful thing to do." 

 "No, a different Erik." Dahme'dre replies to Sunny. Her words stop better her voice carries on beyond the range of Melvin's hearing. Erik is a member of the Nomad Corps. Holding a criminal is his duty, and he might appreciate the potential lead pertaining to his last case, remote though that connection may be. She projects into the minds of her allies.

 Melvin gulps nervously, “Alright, yeah, I can do that. Then you’ll let me go, right? Gonna need your word on that. And that you’ll keep the frea-“ His eyes dart to Sunny, “the fine gentleman out of my company.”

Dahme'dre considers for a moment, "Well, I don't intend to spend my hours keeping track of you. We don't wish to hold you after we've been able to introduce you to our friend... Assuming we'll be able to take you through. I never did get all the specifics on that doorway out of Millie... In any case, I'm afraid you'll be enduring our company a little longer." She replies, with a gentle smile.

Melvin sighs, “Alright...”

It takes roughly an hour to get to your destination, winding and weaving through the busy streets of Everywhere and riding those shifting platforms once more. However, you make your way to the Upper Tradewalk. Needless to say, the Tradewalk as a whole is incredible. It appears to be an entire cliffside of nothing but various shopping centers. Some are large, some are small. With enough time and gold, one could likely find anything that they desired in the complex. However, you have a mission! Eventually, Melvin stops at a, once again, incredibly modest storefront. The building itself is hardly bigger than a shed, but it indeed has the gaudy letters strewn across it, “Millie’s Magnificent Menagerie!” Melvin sighs, “Alright, ‘ere we are. Seems a bit small though... Dunno why you’d want this place, really. I mean, did you see ‘Theodore’s Guns, Firearms, and High Impact Arcane Ordinance?’ Had a bit more flare.”

Sunny perks up at that. 

"The Kevin makes an excellent point. Surely, we can destroy these Mock Dasons with arms made of fire."

 Melvin squints into the distance at that thought, “Well, he ain’t wrong, but frankly, I feel that horrifyin’ thought is aside the point. Bottom line is that this ‘Millie’s’ don’t see like much.”

"Millie's more than meets the eye, prisoner." Alijurn licks his thumb and scrubs away some dirt from one of his shin guards. "After you." He nods to the ladies and looks at the door. 

As you all open the door, you once more are greeted by the familiar sight of the inside of Millie’s Magnificent Menagerie. The rows of magical trinkets, scrolls, and that one white jacket that is sectioned off in the corner. You see behind the counter a single curl of blonde hair behind a stack of books. A little bell chimes as you enter. Millie yelps in surprise as the books drop to the floor and she states with her usual lisp, “Welcome to Millie’s Magnificent Menag-“ She steps up on a stool and sees you all, “Oh, welcome back!” She looks at a calendar on the wall, “Huh, it’s not even time for the monthly payment. You guys are early!”

Sunny bends low and snuffs at Millie's face.

Perception: 13

Sunny inspection reveals that this ‘Millie’ seems to be an elf... Pup... child... She has unruly blonde hair with bangs that cover her eyes. She pats you on the snout, “And you brought new customers! Wonderful!”

 "Wonderful to see you, Millie." Dahme'dre replies, "We were hoping to use your backroom. Will we be able to bring someone with us?" 

(Mechanically complicated question, sorry. Imagine the implications.)

Millie tilts her head toward you, “Well that depends, are you intending on becoming ‘Premium’ members like we discussed last time? Remember, the whole ‘only trading in magic items,’ ‘dangerous stuff is back there,’ thing, after you infiltrated my shop with your little bat friend.”

Sunny thinks back to his bar... and the pay that he gave up in leaving without providing two week's notice. He touches a claw to his depressingly empty coinpurse hanging at his waist...

"Oh goodness, how wonderful it is to see you, Millie!" Ashe steps in last and catches the tail end of the conversation. She clicks her tongue as her expression softens, "I'm afraid we don't have much to trade, but... how's about a favor? Surely a favor is worth using this back room of your's?"

 Millie clicks her tongue and wags her finger, “No. A favor like that could cause more issues than it’s worth, no offense. Like I said, I enjoy all of your company, but unless you can provide an ante, I can’t let you back there. Think of it like a membership fee. Really, just about anything will do fine, scrolls, trinkets, potions. Just about anything magical worth my time.”

Millie walks behind her much-too-tall counter and picks up the books she dropped.

 "Of course we'd like to become premium members" Dahme'dre replies, "The value of your services are definately apparent." She listens as Millie lists the items of interest. "Scrolls are a fairly simple thing. Of course, it was only a few days past when we last spoke. I still have not yet returned home, but I think we can work something out." She snaps her fingers summoning her notepad and asks, "So what can I prepare for you? A familiar is a popular and useful spell, but a Shield is a good choice for a scroll. Or maybe I can grant you a Blessing and skip making it into a scroll?"
