Yes. Does everyone agree to this course of action? Should we travel as fast as we can or go slower to not attract attention?
OCC: I would like to keep an eye out for anything stalking or following us, and look for signs of orcs or other things having gone before us. Survival 23 or perception 20
OCC: do I know how long it will take us to get to Edoras and Minas Tirith?
no. 1: You notice nothing out of the normal, there are no orc paths, and you can spot no orcs within a few miles. Other than a regiment of riders (going to Edoras), there is no one near you.
no. 2: A trip to Edoras, if unencumbered and not taking into account stops or the like, will take 2 days at moderate speed. 1 day at fast speed, and 3 days at a slow pace. A direct trip to Minas Tirith will take a while, much longer, about over a week (8 days) at a moderate speed, 6 days at a fast pace, and 10 days at a leisurely pace.

"I am skilled at moving distances unseen. I can perhaps help us avoid notice if that is the path we choose. Spies are everywhere even among friends. Let us be swift and light to our destination. If we must get supplies let us only send a few of the party to retrieve them. This may at least surprise the Enemy when our numbers are greater."
"You are right. I suggest we follow the road until Edoras, and then those of us who need supplies go in while the others go around it and try to remain unseen. I know the land around here well and will be able to guide those who are not going into the city along paths where we will not attract attention."
"I have all that I need " says the other rohirrim "going to Edoras can delay our errand, and atract unwanted attention. I say that we go direct to Minas Tirith. "
"I have everything I need to make the journey. If you'd like I can keep watch at the front or rear during our travels, I am an able scout. I can move unseen by most when I wish, and a keen set of eyes might help us avoid ambushes from orcs."
Aradan pulls his cloak up over his head as he rides, the greyish-green garment is of fine make, and seems to shift hue and match the trees or the earth behind him as he rides.
Aradan remains watchful and alert during their journey. His hand strays to his right sword on occasion as they ride, unsheathing the blade an inch or so to glance at the blade briefly before resheathing it.
"Ardan if you know our path leads us down the less used trails to come to Minas Tirith. My time in the Mirkwood has left me cautious and I will watch our rear and cover our tracks the best I can. I have supplies to travel and am capable of finding supplies for us, I feel capable of either path before us."
Also realized that I never described myself. Lumorndir is fairly common for Elves his black is kept shorter than most and stays controlled and out of the way. His build is slightly heftier than most Elfs due to his life of labor. His attitude and mannerism are strict even by Elven standards, rarely showing uncontrolled emotions of any sort. He tends to seem ill at ease regardless of where his is, and is constantly on watch.
"I can lead the way if you wish, though it has been many years since I traveled to the city of Minas Tirith. The road between the bastions of Rohan and Gondor is undoubtedly well kept."
Aradan drives his grey horse toward the front of the group, leading them forward along the road.
Several arrows rain out from nearly out of nowhere, targeting the riders near you. Stepping out of the shadows is a small band of Uruk Hai, armed with crossbows and wicked looking daggers. They must have laid an ambush for some rohirrm right here.
(there are 3 uruk hai assassins, and you have 3 riders of rohan on your side, roll for init)

"I need no supplies either, so I would be glad to ride directly to Minas Tirith. Edoras is not as safe as it once was."

Not sure why it says I missed with the dice. I put a wrong post with a roll which might be freaking it out.
As Aradan glances at his blade, it glows a bright blue. (you all know what that means)

(okay I'll let the uruk attack first)
Uruk A uses his Heavy Crossbow to fire a bolt at Rider A. 22 atk. The attack misses the rider, flying off a few ft. away from him.
Uruk B follows suit with Uruk A, but choosing to attack Aradan instead. 27 The bolt hits the elf in his shoulder, creating a bloody wound. 12 pierce
