Backstory: Ery is a bit unique. Ery was born under the full moon and therefore received the blessing of Selûne. After bearing witness to some other townspeople burn down Ery’s home with Ery’s family still inside, Ery managed to disguise their self and slip away. After this incident, Ery developed a bit of a multiple personality disorder as a way of coping. Now you can imagine this would be especially interesting due to Ery’s race. Ery traveled from town to town, earning a living in whatever way they could at the time. Ery tries to live as faithfully as they can and Selûne always provides in someway or another and helps keep most of their personalities generally under control.
Short-Term Goals: To follow their goddess’s wishes
Long- Term Goals: Maybe eventually find something that may heal them of their affliction and gain more control of their life.

Strepit is a simple Halfling. A very, very simple Halfling.
Abandoned as a babe, and dropped at the doorstep of an orphanage, perhaps dropped several times, it wasn't long before he was adopted by cobbler duo, Martha and Arthur Solemender, who found his nature... endearing. As time went on it became clear that Strepit wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but was undeniably the loudest, reveling in all manner of clatter and mayhem. Overtime, young Strepit became the talk of the town, or rather the cause of constant irritation and buffoonery; a good-hearted lad, they would say, but a head full of naught but sawdust. Eventually there was an incident involving the mayors daughter, an innocent incident some would say, but our dear mayor didn't quite agree, and so it came to be that Strepit was exiled from his cozy home. Strepit found wandering aimlessly from town to village and plying the trade he had been taught to be fulfilling for a time, nothing wrong with being a cobbler and all, and never staying in one place too long meant he would never have to suffer such humiliation again. But there was this itch you see, that there was something bigger than being an average cobbler just waiting; around every corner it could be hiding. One day Strepit would find his opportunity, and grab hold with both hands firm.
Reason to have left home: exiled
Short/long term goal: to escape the mundane life of a cobbler.
Background: Born, Anna Hoffern, growing up in a village that follows the path of Gaea (or what ever Godess represents the creation of the earth and it's creatures) as the Earth Bear Clan. Her life was simple, mother was a cook while father was smith to their Warchief, BearMauler. One thing that made her stand out was her height and athletic abilities compared to her peers. Due to her statue, she was drafter early into her village's military 2 years before the normal age of 18. The only other person allowed such a feat was BearMauler's own son Thunderclap who entered at the age of 17.
Thunder jealous that someone upstaged his accomplishment decided to make life a living hell as she endured basic training. This went on for 6 months until one day she decks him across the face. After brawling for a bit, impressed by her strength she gained in only 6 months, Thunder had taken a liking to her started to treat her with respect, but Anna wasn't going to give in that easily. She held off his advances for 6 more months, but realized there was no one stronger in the entire camp so they started dating. Together over the next 6 years they rose through the ranks rather quickly, Anna earning the name Terra Ryzen.
Then that fateful day, when they launched an attack on their rival clan the Ice Wolves. The Earth Bears where not prepare as they suffered great losses, including BearMauler's person body guard, and Thunder's mother Stormquell, taking a serious injury to her hip, crippling her completely unable to walk, being fored to be carried around on a cot.
After retreating their village and recovering, Terra was named BearMauler's new bodyguard. As time went on, the more time the two spent together, the more feelings started to develop between Bear and Terra, and due to Storm's crippled condition, Terra started to have an affair with Bear. The affair wasn't kept secret as soon everyone in the village knew, and this upset Storm very much. Four years, she had to put up with it, until she had hired an assassin to try kill Terra. On Bear's 50th birthday, after a night of drinking and celebration, while heading back from a hunt. An assassin's arrow meant for Terra, was intercepted and hit Bear, poisoning and killing him quickly. Terra chasing down said assassin beating him within inch of his life before dragging him to the keep to be questioned. Upon integration the assassin confessed to being hired by Stormmquell to try to kill Terra.
Thunder the acting Warchief, had both the assassin, and his own mother executed for treason for it was her actions that her husband was killed. Thunder couldn't let Terra go without punishment though. He felt betrayed by her for she dumped him in exchange for his father, but he also could see where is father was coming from, Terra was so strong, so beautiful any man would be lucky to have her, but he also understood why his mother be angry her war injury making her weak from the proud warrior she once was. Terra was stuck in the middle, but Thunder still cared for her, but feelings were still sore so he didn't want her executed but instead he just banished her from the village for an undisclosed amount of time.
Goals-Get stronger, prove worthy of entering Gaea's enteral hunting grounds as a follower of Gaea
Will do back story with more info on the campaign. Thanks for considering me.
Here is a back story to work with.
Abandoned as an infant, Nam’nha was discovered and taken in by a family of wood elves in a small farming village. Everything seamed normal till his teen years. He began hearing a voice in his head telling him he has some power inside of him. The voice never reveals its name or source. Everyone starts thinking he is a little crazy till one day when he is in the fields working, he is startled by a rodent and flames burst out from his hands igniting the field and burning half the crops. Out of fear, his adopted family tell him to leave and find his real family so he can discover the source of this power. Nam’nha wonders the world learning to control his power and often argues with the “voice” that wants him to do things he does not want to do but the “voice has helped him to harness this power more. The “voice” wants to help him with his power but to an unknown motive and so begins his search for answers.

Elon Andrael- High Elf sorcerer- Waterdeep Dragon Heist
Tomac- goliath barbarian- Yet Another Storm Kings Thunder
Name: Tallis "The Wraith" (self-appointed)/"Darksniffer" (parent-appointed)
Class: Hexblade Warlock (eventual Ranger or Rogue multi)
Race: Drow Half-Elf
Backstory/Leaving home: "Oh, you're a mixed-blood too? Was your mother the victim of attacking marauders who had their way with her? What a pity for you to live. Have you considered the alternative? What if your family was the defilers? Imagine living every day being reminded of the weakness of your lesser blood and your base conception."
Tallis escaped his "home" (if that's what anyone would call it) as soon as he knew the way out. However, he left with a keepsake: a fragment of pure darkness that he tucked away. During his escape, whispers came from the darkness around him that guided his feet and direction. When he finally met sunlight, he turned back to the darkness, knowing he'll never truly accept either world. He was an abomination, stuck in twilight. After days of considering this, he understood his purpose: to stand in the darkness and hunt the creatures that hide within.
Short-term goals: Return to his drow parents and their family, then murder ever one of them.
Long-term goals: Continue to hunt the monsters that hide in darkness and prey on the weak when the sun falls.
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
As a child, his banner was killed in retribution for plundering a nearby settlement. He was picked up by a mercenary captain and raised as his own. He has always had a strong respect for the law (both good and evil) and eventually became a member of the city watch as a detective. Although many of the people in the city have a hard time in coming to him with their problems because of his race and affiliation to the banner that used to torment and kill so many of their families, he has proven time and again quite efficient in catching his prey. Recently he was tasked by his newly appointed (and somewhat shady) supervisor to track down whoever has been behind a string of strange murders (either because of his skill or to get him out of town) and has left the city he grew up in and has been travling and hunting his prey ever since.
Here is the link to my character. I didn't add any gear or anything because I didn't know if we were supposed to only use starting equipment or if we could equip ourselves with starting gold.
Short term goal: to catch the murderer he has been chasing and solve his case.
long term goal: to help make a large difference in the world using his investigation skills, while showing the people of his home town that he is not the evil hobgoblin they think he is
Backstory: The valley was cursed, either by the magic of the Clockwork Dragon that the monks of the Hidden Valley protected or by other means. In Hidden Valley, time passed more slowly. For each year in the valley, 12 more passed in the world outside. And the path to that world was closed most of the year, save for a month in mid summer. When the corresponding month of midsummer arrived in the world outside, only 3 days of clear passage was available between the two. By joining the Hidden Valley monks at the age of 12, Laniel and his best friend Neren would be trapped in time as the world raced by. Their families would grow old, have children, and die before Laniel and Neren grew to be men.
At first, Laniel mourned the loss of his family. But his grief was short. Only his mother ever wrote to him and here he found a purpose that called to him more greatly than he could have imagined. They trained in ancient martial arts as the decades passed. When Neren disappeared Laniel determined it had been more than 165 years in the outside world for the 14 they had experienced in Hidden Valley.
Neren had been granted permission to travel up to the pass and trade with the druids from the outside, bringing back any new brothers and goods that the druids delivered. He should have been gone for only a day and a half. Laniel grieved again, this time for the loss of his friend. But this time he was also stronger and he recommitted to his role as protector of the Clockwork Dragon. Brother Fezir saw his zeal grow over the next year. “The pass will open soon, Brother Laniel,” he said. 180 years had passed since Laniel had left the outside world. “We must find young Neren if we are to ensure our charge is still safe. Our greatest shield against the forces that desire the relic is that so few know we are here.”
And with that, Laniel left the valley into a world that he knew nothing of, carrying meager supplies and a burning desire to return. The real problem he faced was where to even begin. Neren as 12 years ahead of him. And almost everyone that Laniel ever knew was dead. Resolved, he followed the local druid guides down into the forest, tracing back the path that originally brought him to Hidden Valley, the entire world opening before him.
Short Term Goal: Find his friend Neren to ensure the ancient relic is kept secret from the world.
Long Term Goal: Return to Hidden Valley to stand guard against the forces searching for the Clockwork Dragon
