Looking for 4 players to start a long running campgain. Submit your character concepts on this thread, and I will send you the campgain link of you are accepted. Make a lv. 1 character. I am okay with any Critical Role, Unearthed Arcana, Eberon, and other source books, as long as my homebrew content. If you would like to use your own homebrew, just ask me.
Righto, always ready to throw some dice, but how about a bit more information first? What setting is the campaign? What is your homebrew content? (unless there's a way to find it through your profile, bit new to dnd beyond m'self) And... yup, can't think of anythin else at the moment. I'm a bit excited for what you've potentially got in store for us!
Would also like to know a little about the setting and world. Looking for a 1-20 campaign to play in. I have a kalashtar monk/paladin character concept already built and ready to go :)
Also very interested here, looking for a nice campaign! Keen to find out what your ideas are. I don't mind creating a character blind but if you've got some details it would be nice for creating a background that fits well with what you've got planned :)
Just going to roll some stats here to get my character going :)
I can roll literally anything, RP-heavy or RP-light. In particular, I've been wanting to try a Hexblade for the first time. Primary race choices (limitations based on your setting) would be goblin or skirmishing, dark elf, or tiefling. Would definitely be a dark assassin type, but I can always tone down the evil to a more brooding nature - except the goblin, that guy is just always somewhere on the gollum spectrum.
Just let me know if you are rolling stats. There are tons of methods and I was about to post some rolls in a way to keep it flexible, but realized it would've just muddied down the post.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Characters:
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
I've built a character with those rolls from earlier, a strength focused Half-Orc Ranger. Of course happy to adjust depending if you have any other rules for character creation.
I've written a backstory for the character also, but depending on your concept and setting I will adjust this to match.
The short version is that she was abandoned as a young child due to her mother's shame and desperation and then taken in by Halfling farmers. After growing up amongst the kindness of the small folk and living amongst their community she eventually came to realise her calling as a ranger and left to venture into the world to seek out those in need and lend them aid. While often naive and too trusting of those who come from a similar community to her, she lacks nothing in confidence and as is sure of her own strength as she is of her conviction to help others who are vulnerable. Equally, and often hypocritically, she prefers to judge outsiders by their actions rather than their word, for she was abandoned once and finds it hard to trust those who do not hold the same values of community as her.
Halfling, abandoned as a toddler, dropped, perhaps multiple times, adopted by a cobbler, exiled from home due to The Incident. Plying trade as traveling cobbler.
The campgain setting is a homebrew collection of all major settings. I DMmy stories loosely, letting the players influence what happens bext, hopefully without them realizing.
raised by the church after found as sole survivor in a village of the west coast of (xxxxx) Fionn has been taught the ways of the priesthood....however the higher ups frowned on his following of the tricksy side of the god (and the drinking) so after an unfortunate (but funny) prank he set off to follow where his god leads
Kail- Kalashtar Monk (Pally multiclass in the future)
Kail grew up without a father. His mother was a Paladin of Torm and he was raised in a household with lawful good tendencies. Kail went his own path when he decided to join a nearby monastery who helped him discover his inner self. Opening his mind introduced the communication of the quori spirit of Maya (Meaning "Might") and this is when the night visions began. Often, Kail would have reoccuring visions which left him restless- The most common one showed him fighting an unseen force in a fiery hell. He has grown another two arms and runes glow all over his body with divine light. The teachers at the monastery worked with the scholars from the Paladin order, along with Kail's mother to uncover Kail's true Kalashtar heritage. The quori chose Kail's mother as the vessel for his birth. Guided by the faith of his quori spirit, Kail now adventures out with the teachings of his monastery and the order which his mother is a part of to spread good over the world, determined to be the light and strength for those in need. A calmer of nerves. An idle for the lost. A hero.
Kail left home as encouraged by the tradition of his monastery. They believe in being agents of change and light in the world. Long term goals: Persue his visions to hopefully discover the meaning of them through adventure and experience of the world. Short Term Goals: Tasked by his Mother's Paladin order to sort out a near by disturbance in the land. This will be his first step towards initiation to be called a Paladin of Torm.
