A small smile will spread across Slags face as Flint inspects the armor. "I am glad ya like it... if ya didn't well... I don't think we could be friends anymore, and I would probably have to give it to Rurik instead!" giving him a big wink before pulling out a chair and sitting at the table across from the dwarf. "You don't owe me anything for it old friend, I enjoy forging in a way I cannot describe..... but I did work up quite a thirst this morning" Shooting Flint a large smile.
Flint would push off the table to get out the chair and lift the suit of armor up. Appreciating the quality a bit longer, lost in its design, and nearly missing what Slag had to say. "Oh yes. Of course" Placing the armor over the back of the chair before throwing an arm up to the bar. "A round of drinks for my friend here and keep them coming until he's had his fill. A keg if necessary! "
Prospero wakes up in a sweat, in his new smaller room. He was dreaming about the burning tree, and no matter what he tried he couldn't stop it. He gets up and looks at himself in the mirror, his disguise now repacked into his bag. He's decided that if people are going out to fight these Snow Dogs, or whatever they were called, he would join them, as himself. He can bring out Rurik again if he needs to, but for now he'd like this threat to his way of life dealt with, and if he gets in a few hits on the one that torched the tree, well that would be nice too.
Ok Talis and Kaldun, what you two have gathered the following by mostly talking to guards, as the townsfolk don't seems to know much. You have learned that there are several sects that worshiped Gaea, each sect having a different view, each gathering a following and clan around it. It is unsure how many of these clans exist still, but at one time there were the following: Ice Wolves, Wind Antlers, Earth Bears. Sun Wings, Blood Tigers, and the official Treant. The only clan that had made itself known before yesterday was a small group of Wind Antlers, who come into town and trade. This little fact is mostly kept secret cause don't want panic through out the town that Wild Landers come into town more than general public thinks. That is why they also keep mistaking Boo as one due to the deer skull he wears.
You learn that the general policy is Avamoore will not press beyond its current boarders. That if a Wild Lander wants to come into the boarders of Avamoore, they are allowed entry as long as they are not a threat. Since most of the general public thinks people from the "Savage Lands" most be savages so generally people who come from the Lawless Territories do it in secret.
Kaldun if you are looking for healing potions, you are directed to Casey's General Store. He has a decent stock on hand you are told.
You do not get any leads of location of where a possible camp would be cause someone whipped the crowd into a wild mob.
As for the rest of you, you guys have your breakfast, gather your things amd meeting all together?
(Was there info of what direction the Wolves came from so we can start there and ask for clues?)
Tallis will also stop in to the store and try to buy 3 more vials of acid and a vial of Alchemist's Fire (125gp total).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kaldun listens with interest to the stories of the Clans that worship Gaea, but he was disappointed they were not able to get more actionable intelligence.
He will join Tallis to try and find from what direction the Ice Wolves attacked the town. Searching the areas where the fighting took place, the Gaea Tree, and possibly the bodies of the Ice Wolves for clues.
The direction they would come from is the north. When you return to the temple, the bodies have already been removed. When you go the general store, you are able to get the following. (this is where I go crazy with economy ) So instead of just getting 3 vials of acid, you get a 4th vial for the price of 3 and the vial of Alchemist's Fire fire all still at the 125gp.
Kaldun when you go in and inquire about healing potions, where ever you go your information about cost of a healing potion was wrong. A normal potion of healing isn't as expensive as you were told, instead of being 50 gp, but only 5 gp. What you must of heard was potion of supreme healing is 50 gp. But sadly he is out of stock on the Supremes. So with the 50 gp you want to spend you can 10 individual potions, or do the special where a 6 pack of basic potions is 25 so two of them giving you 12 potions still the 50 gp you want to spend. Also surprising to make the potions have a less medicine taste, brewers started adding flavors to them. So you have your choice of: cherry, grape, lemon, apple, strawberry, orange, or pumpkin.
(The whole flavor thing I came up with was to make more appealing to my 8 year old niece when tried playing a game with my brother and her in the spring)
(Sorry, today's been a bit hectic. May not post tomorrow, hurricane and all)
As his comrades start the day, they would notice that the antlered human is nowhere to be seen. In fact, Boo has yet to leave his room. He had propped his bed against the door and rearranged the rest of the room so he would have space. He is kneeling down in the center of the room with the ice wolf pelt laid in front of him. He is slowly mumbling a chant in deep speech, swaying back and forth. Then he stops, holds his hands up and balls them tightly, drops of blood hitting the pelts head. He unfolds his hands, lays them on his knees and waits. And waits...and waits... Well, that's not right. The Gorgal should have cleansed it, but he did not feel her magic. Perhaps the ritual could've been better. Perhaps he needed candles-Wait! Torches! Torches are better! But, the divine creature walks this place. How was he to acquire these things with such a foe lurking about? Boo decided it would be best to fix the room back the way it was and hide for a bit. It felt awful, denying the sun, but these are risky times.
So Bigark you have two options, either you can roll and investigations check to see if there if you can find any unemployed people looking for work. Or you can spend 1 silver to have a help wanted poster made and hung around town and see if anyone replies.
(I had forgotten to add in healing potions as well. At that price, I'll take a dozen for 50gp! Also want to see, for aesthetic reasons if nothing else, if a bandolier is available considering I now have a wide variety of vials lol)

After a few breakfast beers and it appears that Flint is pleased with his armor, Slag will plan meet up with the group with the intention of heading towards the Ice Wolves.
Flint excused himself from the table after paying for himself and Slag, then took a few moments to put on his new armor before joining with the rest of the group that had hopefully some lead as to where the ice wolves came from.
So if Tallis is also buying 12 potions for 50 gp, that would mean the part ha 24 to divide along 7 members. As for the bandolier Casey does have one in stock for 5 silver. So if everyone is ready they can head to the forest or want to head see if Marv has anything.

Investigation 7
Afterwards, Kaldun will buy a potion of healing for 50gp if its available at the general store.
Vercinius Thrax: Lizardfolk Cleric - Hoard of the Dragon Queen
L’Ouverture Zinn: Kobold Sorcerer - Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage
Titus Vorenus: Dragonborn Paladin - Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
Nemean Goldenmane: Tabaxi Fighter - Lost Mine of Phandelver (Retired)
OOC: How much is a servant? Someone to follow Bigark around with his stuff and cook him meals and the like?
(Kaldun is probably pretty cheap)

Stealth:14
(its alright if unable to post, thanks for letting me know.)
So Boo you are able to get under the bed and drape the sheets over the side of the bed and hide.
OOC: Hurricane troubles as well? Luckily, Michael's headed more west than first anticipated, so it looks like we'll hardly get anything here.
OOC2: If the price isn't too high, Bigark would like a valet/man servant.
So Bigark you have two options, either you can roll and investigations check to see if there if you can find any unemployed people looking for work. Or you can spend 1 silver to have a help wanted poster made and hung around town and see if anyone replies.
