Kaldun will accept Slag's offer to ride on his shoulder, doing his best to keep a sharp eye out for any foes as they made their way to the camp. "Nicely done Tallis" he snarls in his gravely voice. "Best keep an eye out... they could be expecting a reprisal after that attack." He was impressed how well Tallis was able to pick up their tracks and was eager and ready to engage the enemy. He kept a close eye on the tree line beside them, scanning for any signs of life as they marched on.
Once they arrived at the camp he hopped down off of Slag. He was worried all these big folk might miss some small detail, he felt that being closer to the ground he could better search the area for any clues about the Ice Wolves.

So with you all searching the camp you find eight bedrolls, four tents, about 16 rations of food, four long bows, 40 arrows. Obvius they were meant to return to this after their attack on the temple. Boo with that 18 in investigation you find 5 empty leashes as well.
Prospero with your spell, you find a chatty chipmunk. "Hey there mister. What you doing here mister? You not like the other misters. The other misters wear skin of the howlers. Howlers scary things. Speaking of howlers, look behind you!" The chipmunk scurries up a tree.
Flint and those keeping watch, you do see 5 wolves approach, they do appear to be wearing collars, matching the empty leashes. The y are about 30 feet away snarling at you. Roll initiative.
OOC: not going to be able to post again until later tonight, but since I rolled a nice initiative, wanted to let you know that Kalduns next move will be to use fire bolt on the nearest wolf.

Alright Tallis you strike at Wolf A, dealing a bit of damage, then a green flame shoots and lands on Wolf B singeing its fur.
Kaldun unfortunately as you aim your firebolt, it veres off to the right as the wolf jumps out of the way.
