Again, Vondal looks up to the sky for a moment or two. "At very least, we move off side of path. Find clearing, perhaps. Maybe... say few words this time too."He lowers and shakes his head. If there are no further complaints, he works with whoever else is willing on moving the bodies off to some side and open clearing, and then work on some minor breaker of stone for any escaping flame.

Adrom plants his warhammer in front of him, hands resting on the wearied and marked head. He then speaks in dwarven.
"We do not now your faiths but we do ask Moradin to guide your souls to their final resting place. We thank thou AllFather for allow us to fufill your will and help these poor souls to find their deserved peace. May the fire of thou Forge roar forever."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vondal mirrors Adrom's action as much as he could with his battleaxe. But he would otherwise remain silent, his head bowed and mind empty of thought. Even after the pile is ignited for a good minute or two, the Gold Dwarf is reticent to speak. But afterwards, he sighs and looks to his fellow Dwarfs, both honorary and not. "The Orc encampment cannot be too much further along. Once we've finished tending to our wounds and thensome, let's be off to deal with that. The sooner its done, the sooner we can return to other matters." Is all he Vondal would say prior to bustling off a ways to start tending to the bruised jaw.
(@All: In short, suggesting a short rest if we haven't already acquired one before head on.)
If able to get a short rest:
Ki-Points Refreshed Hit Die Spent(1):10.

(@All: Would have to double back and do a recap. But with the exception of Adrom, who started off at level 2, we should all be at 1,510 exp. And Adrom should be at 880 total exp)
(@DDP: Sounds good to me.)

According to my records, the original four should have 1620 each and Adrom has 990. It's possible there was a time you earned some XP and I forgot to tell you.
"I can expedite the process." Zander holds up a flame.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"You are a Moradin's blessing lad" smiles Adrom to Zander.

Not having too strong an opinion either way, Nif puts his crossbow away and helps themove the bodies
The zombie bodies are heaped in a pile in a relatively cleared area beside the road.
Does anybody say "a few words"?

He then nods to Zander so he can ignite the pile.

Karl stands by silently, head bowed and obviously deep in thought.

Zander motions for the others to step back, then lets flames pour from his hands onto the corpses.

"Let's rest a ways away from the pile, shall we?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"And not downwind!" adds Adrom.

By this time, it's late morning. Short rest to get you to midday?
OOC: Everyone earns another 50 xp for finishing off the zombies.
Ooc: can I get a double check on what our total xp should be?

By golly, yes, he leveled up during the last long rest. Sorry about that, Adrom.
What's everybody up to?
I believe we are continuing on our way to hunt orcs?
What better way for Karl to spend his time.
