Bronze beard will look up to the goliath and grin. "Yeah, I am always in need of hides and bones... the thicker and more exotic the better... I will pay you for any you bring me and if you ring me something extra special I will make it worth your while" The dwarf will say rubbing his beard.
Navek had to look at the ceiling at that one. "Exotic, eh? Hm... Well, if we get any spare troll tusks, or hmm.. maybe enough skin to play with." He considers aloud. "Serve the bloody bastard just right."He mutters underbreath. "I'll see what we can do and get back to you. Come Winston! Let's hurry for the get too far away. Nice meeting you two."Navek dashes out the store to the farm.
Once there, he wastes even less time on pleasant conversation when it comes to purchasing a draft horse for his sculpted ass. So long as the old barding and saddle fit, he didn't care.

Hopping on a horse and grinning as she sits side saddle on the beast. "So if we plant some crops and get a pig, we can be farmers. I never imagined I would be doing all this before at school, hehehe. Let's go get us a Troll!"
As you all make your way eastward towards the swamp, the hours pass by without much excitement. The dirt road becomes rather dark even though it is a bright sunny day due to the heavy tree cover. As you proceed farther and farther through the black oak forest, you start to notice he trees begin to have fewer leaves and large strands of moss and vines hanging down into pools of stagnant water resting rather close to either side of the slightly elevated dirt road. Every so often you see an odd path leading off into the swamps and notice ripples in the water that appear to have no cause. before long you find yourselves about sixty feet away from a small ramp leading up a gated tower. Looking st the gate you can easily see clear through it to the long stone bridge that spans a lake in the middle of the swamp. Numerous bones and corpses are scattered all around the entrance to the worn and moldy stone bridge.
Navek hops down from Gunther the Untested, and steps up a short ways towards the bridge. After giving it a long, hard look to where the Troll last dropped in on him, he closes his eyes with a sigh. "There will be other trolls."He mutters in defeat, then aloud says to the others. "It should be lying in wait just within the gate tower. When you're all ready. I'm gonna call it out for food time. I'd suggest some of you at least being out of sight. Least till we lure it away from the water. Closer it is to it, the harder it'll be to put him down for good. Though I relish the challenge of a few gators joining the hunt, as Mr. Thimbol has put it, we're here to make progress."

"No. I think we should scout around see what we're dealing with and NOT try to bum rush them head on," Sayre whispers looking around. "Stealth," she says shrugging moving ahead quietly.
Not seeing much in the way of hiding, Thimbol would forego any attempt at stealth, instead readying himself for the troll head on. His only regret was not restocking material before leaving.
"You call someone for food, you ring the dinner bell." The halfling offered as he produced an item wrapped in cloth before attempting to hand it to Navek. If it's not taken, he'd put it back with his gear.
"I also don't mind being bait if necessary. Better me than losing another horse." Thimbol glancing about the area with little care, knowing the troll had to cover quite a distance before reaching them.
"We'ren't quite suggesting that, Ms. Sayre." He then answers Thimbol. Won't do much good. He'll be interested, for sure. But that's just finger food to a big'gun like a Troll... You too."He looks over to Thimbol at that point with a playful grin. "But that's still more than nothing by comparison."His expression abruptly hardens. "All jokes aside. We can try that. But we're gonna have to put the horses a little further back. Trolls got a pretty sharp sense of smell."He starts ushering the horses another fifteen more feet away from the tower. He checks the immediate area around them too for good measure too.
"Let me know when your preparations are done." He says as he gets out another oil flask, and readies to coat his axe.

Sayre does a pretty good job of hiding the horses among some heavy brush hanging moss from nearby trees. Once the animals were hidden, Thimbold and Sayre at first attempt a stealthy approach but the dry areas around the opening to the bridge are very exposed and the more hidden areas are very muddy and full of puddles that make moving somewhat difficult. Thimbol is able to hear a very slight crunching sound coming from inside the gatehouse of the bridge but cannot see anything. As Sayre examines the area, she is able to see a wide variety of tracks... the tracks seem to range anywhere from very large to small. She can tell that many of them are very recent but is having a hard time telling what any of them are.
(So Thimbol can hear a slight crunching coming from inside the bridge gatehouse but cannot see anything. you are all aware of ripples in the water nearbyon occasion but cannot tell where they are coming from. The only splashes you heard where from when Sayre and Thimbol were attempting to hide next to some of the trees that were surrounded by water.)
Navek leaves Sayre to the horses without complaint, and moves on to within thirty feet of the Gate Tower. As he then awaited for either a signal from team stealth, or for Mo to inevitable start off a war drumming, he kneels and starts praying. "Hephestus... May you bless the arms forged for us in this hour of need. And may you once grant me the resolve to see this second trial through to its end."
Lorarila follows Navek and waits for after his prayer, "I am backing you up, Navek. When it comes you can go toe to toe, I will give you fiery back up with my spells. If he comes at me, I am using all I have. I am not going to be a dirty Trolls lunch, I will cook him from the inside out first."
As Thimbol approaches the gate house, he can see that both sides of the gate are open. Standing only five feet from the first gate, he is able to see what looks like a tall empty tower with a set of dilapidated stone stairs inside and about 15 feet across a bone covered empty room is another gate and a very large bridge. As Thimbol approaches the crunching stops and it is very silent.
(Navek roll a religion check with advantage)

Sayre immediately takes the horses and hides them using her ranger skills with underbrush and the terrain.

As Navek says a prayer, the already fairly quiet swamp seems to become even more still......
(Navek knows that last time the troll didn't come out without quite a bit of coaxing)
Thimbol shrugs and walks as far as he can. Sounds like there's a gate in the way, so he'll open it.
