Glory sheepishly makes his way back to Saraba, Darruk and BlueEyes (Valafar is still down with Leoros I assume.) "It would seem I have been unable to open the door using brains, seems to be my lot in life but we wont go into that. Is it time to use brawn? Like Darruk said, we have his axe among other things? We need to be fast, both in making the choice and in executing the result. What say you? I'm running out of other options."
"Then just stick with me, Leoros. You don't need to do anything other than be nearby" He nods. At this point, Glory comes back down. "Unable to get it open, huh? Hmm....Well smashing it would definitely be the quickest way in at this point, but leaving evidence that someone is looking into them could be bad, I think"
Glory hurries back to Sarva. "So we have been unable to open the door, it would seem none of us carry thief's tools, unfortunate I admit but true. We are running out of time. Do you have a good suggestion? You are, after all, the instigators of this line of investigation. Clearly we can break in but we prefer not to leave bits of door laying around as evidence. I would love a new idea if you have one handy. If not we will quickly break in and search the room. Darruk has a nice axe for just such an occasion."
Sarva says "breaking things should be a last resort, but I have no skills in opening doors either. If that is what you must do, all I can do is make sure Durnan does not hold any grudge for it later."
The door breaks easily under your assault. Who knows what Durnan will think at the end of the night, but the room is open before you. The light from the hallway barely illuminates anything, but enough to see basic features.
The guest room contains a four-poster bed, a mirrored dresser, a wardrobe, and a storage chest. The occupant's belongings are neatly laid out for the night’s stay. There also appears to be a chalk-and-candle circle drawn on the floor.
Glory and the others quickly inspect the room to, he quickly goes through the wardrobe for anything of interest and then focuses on the storage chest. I tries to open it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valafar accompanies the group up the stairs. "Now Leoros, just stick close and everything will be-"He gets cut off as Darruk slays the door by bowling right through it. "....fine" He finishes. With that he enters the room just shaking his head. "Well let's make this quick. The gods only know who might have heard that..."He'll take a look around too as he ponders and make that Arcana check.

(OOC: If Glory was able to find Sarva, She is aloud to answer :-))

Please let me know if you intend to proceed, or to wait
I'm busting it down.

Perception on the room 3
Arcana on the circle 18
The wardrobe contains nothing. The chest contains clothes, and in the pockets of the breeches you find a receipt for a Ruby with 999 gold pieces.
Anybody in the room can give an arcana check.
Blue Eyes is going to keep his eye on the door in case anyone tries to come in.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Arcana 18
OOC: Valafar, Wizard Extraordinaire.....ugh
Did the Barbarian get a better arcana? Almost makes up for an inability to hit a broom
maybe someone should cast detect magic. I think the circle will help
OOC: Yes, because 5e has its flaws and that’s all I’m going to say on it so it doesn’t ruin anyone else’s good time but mine.
(OOC: At level one detect magic has never seemed worth it since I only get 2 1st level spells. Wishing I had it now, sorry.)
Lot's of stuff ...
OOC: And Valafar isn't that type of wizard. He prefers the explody spells.
