The man instinctively rubs his free wrists and stretches slightly once out of the bonds. (OCC: any light at all?) He looks around and tries to get his bearings, observing what he can of his 'rescuer' and their friends.
He whispers, his voice clearly shaky, stressed, and intimidated: "Langdadrosa, a brutish half-Dragon guy and his cult goons....they thew me in that pit....and a woman named Frulam Mondath? I only met her once, but she seemed like bad news..."
The man looks visibly confused by Sevrn's question.
Whispering: "uh, I...uh...I don't know? I was their prisoner...all I know is that she's human and takes order from a black half-dragon man named Rezmir. I was just taking order requests for goods and filling them based on his orders. I only met her once and only heard about their cult leader."
OCC to DM: Theo will answer what else he can about Frulam..weapons and any other thing he would know.
Whispering: "Langdradrosa stole my gear and put it in that footlocker, may I get it back and possibly get out of this place?!"
Flynn, the rope seems to be just an ordinary rope that has been knotted every so often to aid in climbing up or down. You drop to the footlocker as Theo mentions that his belongings should be in there.
Theo - in response to Sevrn's question. Even though you only met her once, with talks from Langdadrosa, you know that Frulam is a magic user. You are unsure of how powerful though. You've been in that hole for about 3 days now. Kobolds were feeding you once a day but then they all just stopped and no longer showed up. You're unsure where they or Frulam went or if they'll be back.
Wex keeps watch above, moving to the side to try to blend into the wall in the darkness. <clank, shift scrape> He looks the newcomer over from that distance. Has he seen him before?

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
Wex, you do not recognize him. You know that the cult has taken prisoners before but most are outside and used for hard labor. If Theo was inside then Langdadrosa and Frulam must've wanted more out of him.
Flynn, you dont see any obvious traps. You slowly open the footlocker, nothing happens! Inside is some basic looking gear. You also see a book with arcane looking sigils inside it.
For Theo's benefit, Wex is a tallish human male, scruffy black beard, dressed in black cultist scale mail and holding a naked longsword. He carries no light with him and seems to be doing fine in the dark.
OOC > His pronouns are he/him/his. Some people (not looking at Lothiat) have trouble remembering this. 🤣

OOC: ya for Theo he can barely make anything out right now. There is just a trace amount of light leaking into this area from the lamps in the previous room.
Whispering to the rest of the company: "If Frulam put him in that hole, and made a point of separating him from his book, then my gut feeling is to give it back. Theo's best chance of survival now is us, and we'll need all the help we can if we're going to put an end to this cult. I'm tempted to find Frulam and Rezmir, but perhaps we should get evidence of these eggs back to the monk. We can destroy one and take the other back with us?"
Whispers: "Well, uh..thank you for rescuing me...I was pretty sure I was going to die in there after some kobolds stopped coming to feed me. I'm Theo, by the way."
Smiles awkwardly in the dark
Whispers: "Frulam is a sorceress of some-sort and is dangerous for sure, so maybe we should escape? I also can't really see any of you as its almost pitch black. May we have some light?"
Wex decides with two of their number unable to see, it might be time to add some light. He takes his lone torch out of his pack and lights it with his tinderbox.
In the flickering light, Theo can see that despite his grim appearance in the dark, Wex is actually pretty normal looking. Just a guy with a beard, though he is sort of ruggedly handsome.

The sudden flame casts a warm light and a dance of shadows that illuminates Sevrn's dark complexion.
Sevrn is tall, with coal black hair and cold gray eyes. Despite the heavy splint armor that reflects the light, and the cultists hood, his build is surprisingly lean. He carries a long sword in hand that seems to almost imperceptibly vibrate the air around it, and a much larger greatsword on his back. On his neck is a gorget with a partly hidden, possibly religious symbol engraved. His features are softer than his voice and demeanor would have predicted, and there is an unsettling beauty in his face. It takes a moment to realize that the sharpness in his features are almost elven. The ears give his half-elven ancestry away. That and those eyes, which, in the fire's light, seem to hold back a disquieting rage that appears ready to engulf the world.
OOC: sorry guys, headed out to work and had to get settled in out here!
Theo, you see Wex and Sevrn, as described above. Standing near the wall and not too far off from Sevrn is the chest of a man....no wait a Goliath man! You follow the torso upwards to a pair of steel blue eyes staring down at you. The half giant is holding on to a huge greatsword, the blade resting on his shoulder, two small axes affixed to his belt at the waist. His face grim and never changing almost as if he's sizing you up. Finally, he turns his head to look over at Sevrn. "I say we destroy the lot of them, Sevrn. No way can they be of any good dragon if the cult was trying to hatch them."
"I'll back the big man's assertion," Wex says. "No good will come of these eggs. The monk will be just as pleased with evidence of a destroyed egg as with an intact one."

Flynn comes back up to the top "Here is your gear"
Flynn stands in front of you holding the contents of the footlocker, his shoulder length hair framing his face with its ever present grin, although he has some weird things over his eyes the rest of his frame seems to blend in with the darkness, except for that weird bag with 3 tubes going up and one going down that is slung over his shoulder
Theo smiles and very gratefully takes his gear "Thanks so much."
Now in the light, Theo looks like he'd be well-kept if we wasn't just rough-upped and kept prisoner. His hair is currently everywhere, dirt covering his once nice tailored long leather jacket and stylish pants. He checks in his backpack a bit and gives a sigh of relief seeing his book. He straps a pouch to his belt and sheaths a small dagger to his side.
Finally he pulls out a simple crafted maple wand with an iron handle. With a smile he taps his head with it and waves it over his clothes mumbling something quickly and he's instantly fresh and clean, hair back in place (Prestitigitation).
He then looks up to the giant that he wasn't sure how he missed. "Thank you all so much for the rescue" Looking at the hoods and cult armor that many of the group wears "I take it you didn't like how things were run and wanted a change?"
OCC: Passive Perception 16 (observant feat) for any relevant details about the group or current area now that it's lit.

Sevrn draws his sword immediately and scans the room.
Still whispering: "Langredosa and his men are dead. Tell us everything you know about Frulam now, starting with when you expect her back. "
Flynn goes back to the bottom of the chamber and checks out the footlocker and the rope
