You can easily figure out how the top half of the signpost connects to the lower half. When the two parts of the sign are aligned, the arms indicate Krezk and Tsolenka Pass to the southwest, Lake Baratok to the northwest, Vallaki and Ravenloft to the northeast, and Berez to the southeast. You can tell that the Old Svalich Road is the branch that continues to the southwest.

Well that was easier than I thought it would be..
Lae chuckles to himself, “Well at least we got one win today.. shall we continue on this direction?” Lae asks motioning towards the southwest.
You continue to the southwest another 4 miles, the road curving to the northwest, when a path cuts back toward the southeast, while your road seems to continue northwest.
You continue down what you believe to be the Old Svalich Road for another 2 miles when you come to a larger crossroads.
You see a weatherworn signpost next to the road. The three arms of the sign point along the three branches of the road. The arm pointing north reads KREZK, and through the woods you can see an arching stone bridge spanning a river. The arm pointing east reads VALLAKI, and the road slopes up gradually in that direction. The arm pointing southwest reads THE WIZARD OF WINES. The road slopes gently downward in that direction.
A figure walks alone with the stride and bearing of one who know no fear. Clad in rusty armor, it clutches a gleaming longsword in its pale hand and looks ready for a fight.
“I’m quite weary and running low on magic.. If it comes to blows, I’m going to attempt to blind him... then we all cut and run towards the winery...” Lae says just loud enough for the party to hear.

Sure. That is the way we were headed, right? I only remember we're headed to a winery.

"I believe the keep at the Inn said... something like just follow the "Old Svalich Road and the signs" to the winery..."
Right! Let's move then, the less time on the road the better.

“Right, lets go.”

So, continue on this road? I doubt we should be going on the other small path, unless... Zander looks for a sign. Perception if needed:4

" i am good for what ever. The quicker the better. We need to get the quest done, i could use some good ale. " necros says
“Thought we would have been there by now...” Lae grumbles.

"Um guys get ready, but lets see if we can talk." Necros says to the group.
Agreed Necros, avoidance if possible. Make it clear we don't want trouble but be ready if he starts it.

Lae will hold Deafness/Blindness.
Good idea. Let's go.
-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
The creature notices you and turns to face you.
Zander whispers to the party. "Don't address it, maybe if we don't talk to it it'll just let us walk by."

If it moves closer as if to attack Lae will release his spell.
The creature moves its sword into a ready position. "Who goes there?"
"N- nobody... Just passing through, nothing else."
