Y'all do realize that we can have 2 of a single class in the same party, right?
That's what makes this game so versatile, I think. In older editions, the only way you could differentiate yourself from other players playing the same class was to play a fighter or wizard. I don't know if the new concept for this system has enlightened everyone yet, but yes; y'all can play the same class. That's why there are different paths for each class to take.

I messaged the DM about if I can join in, but I figured I'd post it here so other people can spot it too. I've got a basic character but I have something else thats WIP I wanna show him..
Everyone that has asked if they can have a character up to this point may play. Please, post your sheet here for approval before starting.
I am starting a new thread for the actual game. This forum will be used to update character sheets and speak out of game. I may also post announcements and such. Please find the new thread once you have been approved.
Dire Crow. Absolutely. They do have darkvision, proficiency in nature and +1 to spell DCs. Wisdom/Dexterity creatures could be wolves, tigers and hawks.

If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
OK I can use Hektor then, unless we can somehow make time for that other concept character I messaged you about. Here's Hektor's sheet for those who want reference.

Background and Characteristics
Folk Hero:
Born in the remote village of Crannet in Draconia, set in a valley between the mountains it was a prosperous village wich quickly turned into a small town thanks to his situation of crossroads between some mountain pass. Still the people were welcoming and took care of one another. That happened to young Lindal who's father died in a landslide while was trying to help a neighbour farmer with his stucked caravan. Still the local priest and the smith help his mother to raise the child who was loved by the folk. He was always working and lending a hand. " From that stick this splinter" the villagers used to say about him.
Everything was good, until one of the farmers made a marvelous discovering in the mountain near the village. He found gold. Instead of going to the authorities, he went to the, burdel thinking in having some fun gambling and with that new half-elf woman who had recently came to the city. The half-elf killed the farmer and kept his secret. In a matter of weeks she had controlled the little criminall organization in the growing city and started to attract more and more thugs. Her never spending source of money and her ruthless made her became very powerful in a short time.
Before the villagers noticed they were cutted off from the outside world, and most of them were made nothing more than slaves, working in the mines for the new owner of Crannet. When the thugs desecrated the shrine of the village and badly hurt the dwarf priest who had helped rise him, Lindal took his old fathers weapons and stood against the thugs.
He was beaten to almost dead.
But his act of defiance was the spark that the rest of the folk needed. Two days later he was in the front of an angry mob of villagers that helped to liberate the ones who were working in the mines. Despite his wounds he fought bravely against the leuteniant of the half-elf tyrant, and half-ogre brute. He killed the brute and the slaves where free once again. But in the confusion, the half-elf escaped with most of her gold. And swore to take her revenge in the young Lindal.
Still the battle against the slavers were not without casualities, one of them the smith of the twon, a human who, with the cleric, had raised him. Lindal hold his head while the man was dying and prayed with tears in his eyes that, if there was a truly God of justice, do not let that good man died. And then it happened. In front of the amazed eyes of the villagers, Lindal hands started to glow and the grievious wounds of the smith healed. He survived the ordeal thanks to Tirvyr intervention and Lindal swore alleigance to him.
After the firts assasination attempt of one of the vengeful half-elf agent, he realized that his presence was a danger to all of he had dear. So he left his village, with the first signs of the famine reaching his home, determined to find the cause and solve it.
Defining Event:
I stood up to a tyrant's agents.
Tools: Smith's Tools, land vehicles.
Rustic Hospitality:
Personality Trait: If someone is in trouble, I'm always ready to lend a hand.
Ideal: People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
Bond: I protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Flaw: The tyrant who rules my land will stop at nothing to see me killed.
GM: So Quick rules question, because it will inevitably come up. How do you handle Crits?
Do you want us to double the amount of dice we roll for damage or double the roll we get then add our modifiers?
Players: Sorry I kind of got lost in all the posts and I'm not really sure who is in the party right now. And I'm having trouble picturing who is doing what(and who is who) in the IG thread, could we possibly get like a sound off of everyone who is in the party? I'll start.
Kolthar the Half-Orc Fighter LN
Six and a half feet tall, with flint gray skin and shoulder length black hair tied back in a ponytail. His eyes are a silvery blue and most of his facial features are distinctly orcish with a stubborn brow and prominent tusks. He is wearing well-made and well-maintained leather armor. In battle, he typically wields a longbow but has been known to take out the Warhammer native to his clan for close/messy combat.
He is known for standing up to an orcish warlord that was organizing an alliance of goblinoids and gnolls into a massive raiding force. While doing so got him severely injured and his companions killed he was able to escape and warn targetted tribes and settlements in time for them to prepare for the raiders that fell onto them.
Double the amount you roll is what I tend to say, but I don't mind (it doesn't make much of a difference) so long as you keep it consistent and don't double the modifiers accidentally. Good question though.
I also consider nat 1s crit fails and nat 20s crit successes.

I vote aye. Also, if we do get a Discord, I suggest the bot "Sidekick". It's just a good, simple, effective rolling bot, and it's super easy to use.
As I said earlier I'm down with it too so I just need to know which one unless we're making one SPECIFICALLY for this, plus everybody else might not have Discord in general or have the server info so make sure that we send invites to the right people. Also its not an open game right? We've locked down all the players so should we make it a private... whatever...?
