It has been an absolute joy that I was able to DM for you, but my personal life and struggles have pulled me away from D&D Beyond. I have little to no time with the current classes I'm taking and I am sorry that I am not able to be there for you. Stormphrax Rising was intended to be an ongoing campaign of the adventures of Rammenchi, Valen, Vicril, Rhogash, Salleek, and Frandal. However, this adventure has come to a sadly, abrupt end. I cannot express my sorrow towards you all for this. I have enjoyed the little bit I had got to see, but for now, Stormphrax is closed. I might be able to revitalize it up in two months or so, when the fall has begun and I have properly managed all of my campaigns and personal life. My deepest apologies, for I have have come up short as a DM to all of you, and you all deserve better. I'm online if you ever need to chat, just PM me. And if you have any other questions, my Email is Garendiaar@gmail.com.
I'm sorry to see you go, but I completely understand. Life has a habit of changing our plans in unexpected ways. I hope that you are able to find some balance in your life and can find at least some time for doing something you enjoy that doesn't feel like work. If you are able to revitalize this campaign in 2 months, I will do my best to be available so that Rhogash may continue his fight against the Queen of Dragons.
I'll echo CRich's comments - no worries on our end - thank you for at least letting us know whats going on. And if the stars align and you start the campaign back up - Rammen will be here waiting for you. I understand how life can get in the way - I just bought a house - and most of my free time is now spent moving etc.
Hello dear friends/players, recently, I completed my homebrew project: JONK VII: Phraxes, and with that now out of the way with a lot of stuff been sorted out in my personal life. Thus, I am able to reopen this campaign under the name Stormphrax Resurrection, which it shall soon be renamed, with several new additions to the campaign world and rules. I have a link to the homebrew project in my signature, and if you would like to use one of the options presented in the project, then you may go ahead. Simply reply if you would like to rejoin this adventuring enterprise, any changes to characters can be handled here. Additionally, I would like your input on whether we should start over or continue from the last point, where you are infiltrating a small town that appears to have been torched by dragons.
Valen has been waiting. I'll look over your homebrew to see if there are elements I'd like to adopt, but otherwise, I'm ready to jump right back in.

I'm definitely up for staying with this. Hopefully I'll get a chance to look over your homebrew today or tomorrow to give you feedback on what changes (if any) should be made for Rhogash.
Alrighty, good to see all of you again, Phraxes is up and running. Just need to see if Aldurljon is okay or not. Just let me know if you have any questions or anything of that nature.
Alrighty, so still no response from Aldurljon, but in the meantime, in regards to the main campaign, would you like to just continue from the last point of the campaign, or start anew, with a different campaign beginning.
Would we be headed toward the same encounter where we are now? If so, I'd rather just stay here. If we're going somewhere else, though, I'd be fine starting over. It'd be nice to find a way to get one of those bastard swords (along with exotic weapon proficiency?) for Rhogash.
If you restart, it might be a bit more of a challenge, as you'd start off with no supplies, weapons, or gear, and you'd start out having been captured on a skyship by an unknown enemy.
If you continue, we'll essentially "reload from save", just before you entered the temple and began fighting the cultists and monks.
If Aldurljon is not in, does it make more sense to restart? Also, would it be better for purposes of your world if Rhogash was a dragon tainted instead of a dragonborn?
For this world, there are Dragonborn and Dragon-Tainted, in regards to your character, you could do either race, and still have the same personality, viewing the dragons have corrupted your people. However, who your character is, it is ultimately up to you. And regarding Aldurljon, if he does not reply in about a day or so, then we might have to go on without him. Scrapping the original or keeping it fine is fine with me, however it might be awkward adjusting to the campaign for you guys.
There's always the option of the "Mysteriously-Informed Stranger" route that happens due to unexpected player shortage. DM spins up a character and rolls it with a limited omniscience like someone who is totally convinced their fate is at the bottom of a dragon's cave.

Oh I was waiting for a GM post. I'll go ahead and do my turn then.
Yeah I'm not sure if we lost our DM or not - he hasn't posted in either of the two games of his I'm in in several days.

Will take a look to the new options and let you know. It's good to have you back!

I'd love to return, though I will probably change Salleek's race, since I had unintentionally ruined another player's plans for his character.
Do you have difficulty fitting everything you want into your signature? Then check out the Extended Signature thread!
