The tone of Evrik's cheeks turns a tad more red as Lythril touches him. "Thank you my lady, I feel much better. And you're quite handy with the weapons as well. A dwarf through and through it seems."
He looks up at Azrael, "I agree with Lythril, save this for a time when magic may fail us." Glancing back down the hall he adds, "And yes, I have noticed friend. You refer to that one which appeared here when I did. While he is certainly good in a battle, he does seem to pick odd times to be scarce. I was never quite sure of him myself. We had only met a short time before... Well, before we landed here with you fine folk. Still... he has come to my aid and the aid of my companions more than once."
Then he glances at Ra'iik, "You sir. You were hit too." Evrik mumbles a few cryptic words as he places his hand on the warriors shoulder to cure his wounds. (HP +7)
OOC: I cast aid a while back so had 10 extra HP for 8 hours. That was back when we encountered the undead beholder. Not sure of time lapse since then so if you think it's close to wearing off let us know. It was for Az, Raiik, and me.
Bashing down the door, you stumble upon what looks to be an ale distillery.
A stone pillar in the middle of the room has a ring of six copper spigots jutting out of it, 3 feet above the floor. Carved into the walls are twenty bas-reliefs depicting drunken dwarves in different poses. One hand of each dwarf protrudes from the wall. Three of these hands grasp copper tankards. The stone pillar has copper pipes running through it.
Mr. Biggs had nodded and tapped his nose by way of explination. "Not at all, mam. I'm more selectively observant if anything. It's a little too dangerous being otherwise in the Underdark. Folk tend to lose their heads in more ways than one leaning to either extreme. At least if you want to keep your sanity down there and live." He replied during the pause.
And after, he answered byhanding over kabob of spider leg bits and mushrooms to try out while he took care of the small campfire. "I'll keep that in mind for later. For now, let's see about earning our keep again."And on that note, he goes to town on his own kabob while leading the way back to the others.
Azreal's disappointed glance is met by Biggs nonplussed one in turn. He walked down one trapped hallway and got nearly skewered to death. Besides, someone needed to watch the rear in case sparring ended early, and not run down a death hallway with no plan...
Biggs takes one look into the other room and just shakes his head. "Anyone else getting the feeling this is gonna be another drowning room?"

Azrael wasn't completely sure how he felt about the room. And as much as he hated to admit it, he agreed with the ever-hungry bugbear. We must remember... this place was made by a mad person. While some rooms are innocuous, others are meant to entrap you with their innocence. I'm not against proceeding.. even enjoying a few moments of respite if this room turns out to be harmless.. but it would be best if someone volunteered to check just how safe it is, while the rest of is standby to help them if the need arises
Regardless, Azrael would shake his head and sigh, just a bit. Then looking to Evrik Capriciousness is not a great sign in an ally. No matter how great their prowess in battle. Then, leaning in to whisper It's also possible he may be the source of some of your woes.... He, as you said, appeared, not long before you were transported here, that timing seems... convenient.
He patted Evriks shoulder like a comrade would inconspicuously, as he brushed himself off, glad no one was seriously hurt, aside from Lythril initially. he would then swuat down so he could meet her closer to eye level, his eyes casting down as he looks at her And to you, I am sorry you were hurt friend... those shots should have hit me.. not you. I am just glad it was not fatal. This world just wouldn't be quite the same without you. He would say, offering her a warm smile, and giving her a hug, before standing back up.
So what say you all? Press forward into this apparent distillery of spirits? or head back and see what secrets the other door holds?
Dani giggled at the cry of "Score!" but then 'sobered up' and replied to Azrael "Let's press forward, but we should keep our wits about us until we're absolutely sure it's safe."
"What she said!" Evrik says with a grin. "Great Dwarves think alike!" he added with a chuckle.
But then his face got more serious as Az patted his shoulder. Glancing over at Biggz with a questioning look, Evrik looks back up at Az and says "The thought has crossed my mind that one has had something to do with some of my worries. But, he's certainly not the whole keg. There have been other things on my mind. And this place, it does weigh on me." He looks around the room, especially at the taps, and adds, "This room for example, something so merry looking could prove one mistake too many. " Nodding over towards Dani he adds, "You two are right of course, we must proceed with caution. Indeed, I could use a rest, so much has happened in the last hours."

Alessandra thanked Biggs for the kabob, first taking a curious bite before they set off to see if she even liked it, but hummed in content at the taste, and managed to finish the whole thing just before they met with Azrael's disappointed glance, the aasimar looking rather passive at him in return. She should have felt bad about not participating, but to be quiet honest, they didn't really need her or the bugbear in the frey. The others proved that they could handle it, regardless of her being there or not, and only a few of them got hurt, and no one died. Win, win situation, she thought.
"How about we don't touch anything? Then no one drowns." She comments idly, taking a look around the room.

"I'd re-route Mr. Wedge if I could. But, someone needs to at least keep an eye on that other party for the time being."Mr. Biggs admits as he stares up at the statues. If he can, he commits the appearance the imagery of the statues to memory. He even starts trying to mimic them in the background using his mess kit cup in place of flagon where appropriate. "Still. We've come this far. Mine as well step inside and see what fresh madness in there... after folk have recovered themselves."He says during a pose.
Alessandra, you notice the room has four walls. How interesting. Further down in the next 10 x 10 room, a brass plaque bolted to the western door has the following words stamped into it in Dwarvish: “BREWERS ONLY! Others keep out! By order of Garrux, Master of Ale and Provisions.”
In this new room, six stone vats, arranged in two rows of three, dominate this 20-foot-high room. A double door in the west wall has stacks of old barrels on both sides of it. The doors are painted with images of two dwarves in profile, facing each other while standing on sideways barrels.
Azrael Notes that they should probably have their golden dragon friend.. Leon's wife come teleport this ale to the tavern they own.... and says so to Lythril and Danitriel. Assuming it all proves 'safe'

A narrow stone staircase curls up the exterior of each vat to the top, which is fitted with a hinged copper lid.
