"We do NOT have time for that kind of things", says Aendar angrily, but not too loud for it to be considered as yell, "We all are tired and I do not care will you kill each other or do anything else when we are are finished, but right now we have important business to be done, so i would like everybody not to waste OUR time on such things", then he turns too Cora " so, please, could you go and lure that monster out?"
Lilyth knew Cora too well. She knew exactly which buttons to push to throw her over the edge, so the punch was expected, making it extremely easy for her to move out of the way. However, before she could retaliate, Aendar spoke up at an attempt to end the fight before anything else could happen. As he spoke, the smirk never left her face, even when looking directly at the raging woman, as if to say she won.
When he was finished, the eye contact didn’t. “I completely agree, Aendar.” She says smugly, then addresses the merfolk and Zolin. “I apologize on her behalf. We’re working on her anger management.”
The vampire looks back to the rogue with a petty smile. “Now, go, Cora, bait out that monster.” She speaks in a sickly sweet tone. “I hope you’re very good at dodging.”

Cora grit her teeth. It was like she was chewing rocks. Her whole body was tight and full of frustration. Then Aendar spoke, and broke her concentration. Anger made her sloppy, Lilly knew this, used it to her advantage. She took some deep breaths and calmed down. The way Lilly looked at her made her want to sock her even more, but she didn’t. Her sass, her tone, and her eyes - among many other things - drove Cora wild with lust, and she settled down, remembering all the reasons she fell in love with her. She stared at Lilly for a few moments longer, slowly feeling the rage turn into sexual heat, but walked away, denying her loins what they wanted so badly.
”I’m good at some things you enjoyed under the sheets. You couldn't work on me then, and you can’t now..” she quipped at Lilly. Then she turned to Aendar, pushed him out of the way while walking to the Merfolk. “Aendar, you can shut your chew hole, it’s like you’re barely here, anyways.”
While you discuss this matter with everyone, the sun finally sets, and slowly darkness crept up across Ixalan's horizon. Loud bellowing of large dinosaurs can be heard from where you stand across great distance as far away herds of long-necked dinosaurs move themselves into whatever their home is.

Cora looked around, a bit more calm, for a place that at least two people could camp out in. There was no way she'd be sharing a tent with one of the men, and Sheshka probably had her own tent. She set her things down and begins setting up her tent and sleeping bag. She waited to see the results of the others before she offered to help or ask Lilly, who had gotten on her nerves, and frequently, what she was going to do.

Zolin doesn't know whether to be amused or concerned by the emotional strain that Lilyth and Cora seem to create for one another. He shakes his head at (what seems to him anyway) the mysterious dynamic that exists between the two women. I fear one may slit the throat of the other while we sleep tonight.

Whether they found a suitable place to sleep or not didn't bother the vampire. Sleep wasn't a necessity for her, well, not too much of it anyways, so she never carried a tent or sleeping bag on her. She was content resting on a tree if need be, but it wasn't needed. She was feeling fine aside from thirst, which she felt would be a constant struggle (aside from dealing with her slightly psychotic ex-girlfriend) as she found she was running low on her stock of blood pouches while she was sitting by the fire. If I don't feed tonight and wait til we slay the dinosaur... Guh. She made a disgusted face. Dinosaur blood? Am I seriously stooping that low? ...Just don't think about it.
So she didn't.
And instead thought of her psychotic ex.
Lilyth shoved her face into her hands and groaned. How frustrating can one woman be! With her stupid temperament, stupid face, stupid neck, stupid blood, and STUPID ABS. Everything about her was stupid! Okay, maybe her blood wasn't stupid, it was quite delicious, probably the best the vampire has ever had, but maybe because it was in certain points in time. She probably tastes bitter now. And sad... What I said earlier was rude, I should apologize. Lilyth, with all the will power in the world, got up from the fire and made way to Cora's tent to make amends. Maybe. Depending how it went.

Cora took the time to unbuckle her sword belt and keep it close. Then, the cloak, and unbuckled her leathers and took them off. It was warm, even at night. Soon, she was down to her casual short and shirt which was cut high and two sizes to small. She started building her tent, which had room for two.
Cora saw Lilly approach. She looked hungry.
Something inside Cora made her feel bad. As Lilly came up as she had finished the tent and had worked up a little sweat, she looked at her with a combination of annoyance, and curiosity..and yearning. She buried all the annoyance and anger and did her best to act civil. Cora did love her, and was frustrated and annoyed with Lilly only because she refused to understand her situation. Most of Lilly's anger was justified.
”Hey." she said softly, trying to keep her cool, "You look hungry. And you need a place to sleep.”
The way Cora spoke could've made her melt right on the spot, it was either that or how absolutely delectable she looked in that outfit of hers. She deduced that her first mistake was even coming over here, feeling her vampire instincts kicking in as her mind automatically instilled into her brain to feed on her. Couldn't have had a blood bag, could you? It wasn't like the rogue was a fool to her needs in the first place, but their relationship (if you could call it that) wasn't the best right now. You came to apologize, so do it.
"No, no, I'm fine, thank you." She answers gently, managing to find the courage to look at her in the eyes. ****, she looks delicious. "I wanted to... Apologize to you, for earlier. I didn't mean to strike a nerve of yours and act like a *****." She paused. "Okay, maybe I kind of wanted to act like a *****, but I think I took it too far. So, sorry. About being one." Nailed it.

Cora put down the hammer down and stared at Lilly for a moment in silence after she spoke. She looked annoyed, frustrated. She stared at her a moment longer. She took a rag, wet it, and cleaned her neck and wiped her hands. She threw the rag down a little too roughly. She sighed.
It was difficult to concentrate with her so close. Whenever Lilly was close, Cora's heart constantly reminded her why she fell for the vampire in the first place. She wanted to punch her in her perfect face, and had to take steps to relax before she spoke. She looked her up and down, and her heart spoke to her brain and calmed her down.
She sat down cross-legged. "It's ok. I..deserved it. I always deserve it. I don't know why I fight it. I think it's mostly my fault you're like this. I make you annoyed, I make you hate me." she found it difficult to finish. She loved Lilly more than anything. . It hurt to know Cora was the entire cause of Lilly's anger towards her. She wanted to tell her everything. About Hell. About her job. "I wish you would believe me when I say I want you more than anything, but it's complicated. I'm not allowed to tell you details. It makes me mad you don't believe me." Not wanting to fight again, she looked at Lilly again with a softer look. A look of sadness. She then turned away, as if fighting a deep pulsing feeling inside she wasn't supposed to reveal, because she was afraid Lilly didn't feel the same way anymore. Not after what she did to her.
She said it anyway. "I think about you all the time, and what I did to you, and how sorry I am. It hurts me so much, because I constantly lust for you. It's a battle I fight every second, and I can't resist you." She looked at Lilly dead on. "Even now."
As if an invitation, Cora tilted her neck and ran a finger down it's taught, defined length, sensually.
Her words stuck a few chords in the vampire, particularly the ones that reminded her of the night Cora had left her. It definitely wasn't the best of ways to end their relationship, considering she still wouldn't tell her what it was that she did (though, to be fair, she didn't have to), and who it was she was trying to protect her from (as she was perfectly capable of handling her own). What emotions did she still hold for the rogue? She would be lying if she said there wasn't something there, perhaps the most she could say would be she lusted after her too, not love, not anymore, maybe there was something else...
She couldn't dive too deep into her mind to find the right word for it now as her thoughts completely dissipated having been presented a fresh meal for the night and an additional midnight snack. In times like these, her thirst won the fight.
"In that case," There was a glint in Lilyth's eyes as she walked to get closer to Cora, a look that the other knew very well. "Why don't you remind me of those things that I enjoy under the sheets then, hm?"

She grabbed Lilly by arm, nearly tore it off pulling her into her tent. Cora zipped it up, promising to kill anyone who dared interrupt them, and with her heart pounding already, pulled Lilly on top of her and kissed her with passion and intent, her hips pressing against hers with desire and yearning. She undressed Lilly as fast as she could while they tongue wrestled, and the fire in her loins screamed to be played with and freed.
At that point Lilly’s vampiric hunger took over, and her fangs bit cleanly into Cora’s neck. The feeling was pure orgasmic bliss. Lilly wrapped her hands around Cora’s tight, lean, hard body and drank. Cora moaned in pleasure and closed her eyes, letting her own hands roam on Lilly’s perfect, sensual, curvy form while she drank.
When the vampire was done drinking, Cora panted and was a bit sweaty from the blood loss, Lilly licked the bite marks clean and healed her neck. Cora was wearing a half shirt and shorts, so it was easy for Lilly’s mouth and hands to do exploring of her own, she could feel Lilly hungrily playing with Cora’s belt, and Cora stretched her arms up to let the vampire enjoy, kiss, and worship every inch of her. Lilly knew all the spots to make contact with, and while Cora regained her strength, Lilly knew she would be pleased in turn.
Then, Cora would take HER turn to remind Lilly of why she loved her.
Once the sun just broke through the horizon, Lilyth snuck her way out of Cora’s tent looking and feeling better than ever. Feeding from live and willing people did wonders for vampires as she was practically glowing when she made her way to where she left her armor to fasten it back on. She was smiling, humming even, in content at a successful feeding and of course with an added bonus.

Well, as the sun start to shine in the far horizon beyond Ixalan mountains, you prepare to gather again. Anything anyone would like to do before the travel continues?
She woke up alone, as she usually did, and sat up. She looked around for Lilly, took a peek outside the tent. There she was. Praying. Cora smiled. She laid back on her sleeping bag for a moment and smiled, thinking about the night before. She yawned and stretched out the kinks and couldn't help and think about Lilly and her sensuality. Yup. That's why you love her. And, I think, after last night, she's reminded of why she likes you, too.
Then she did something she never did before.
She considered something dangerous that involved herself - but..in a different way. She thought about the love they made last night, and Cora wanted more. Her heart swelled for Lilly and she considered what it would take to defy Hell and tell them to shove off - to tell them the deal was off. She would take the nightmares again if it meant she could have a normal relationship with someone she loved. But then she got sad..thinking about all the other relationships that failed because of them.
Thinking Hell could hear her thoughts, she quickly dismissed the idea and began her morning routine.
She walked out of the tent and didn't bother Lilly's meditation. It was important to her, and Cora took the opportunity to do some breathing exercises and stretch out. The Military taught her exercises she could do anywhere, and found a patch of solid ground close to Lilly and the tent and began. Most of the time, it involved push ups, sit ups, finding a few heavy objects and doing a variety of repetitive lifting that kept her in top shape, lean, and dangerous.
When she was done, she cleaned up, dressed up, and creeped up behind Lilly and playfully bit her on the neck, as if she was the vampire, with a loud silly 'CHOMP' sound effect.
The heralds, who already stands by the spot you split the night before, readies themselves.
"Let's go"
You continue to travel with the heralds' guide, encountering no dangerous hazard along the way, and you feel that you swiftly travel in one straight direction. Hours gone by, and in the middle of the day, the path you are traveling on slowly opens to reveal a clearing in which a small, rocky river flows through it. Following the river, you arrive in a large spring with a large, ancient, ornate sculpture where the river flows from. Beneath it, a vast pool of water gathers the water and directs it to the river. You notice that there are less small animals than there are before near the spring.
"We fulfilled our words. Now it's time for you to fulfill yours. We'll be watching" The herald says as retreat into trees behind.

"So, herein hides the great beast," thinks Zolin aloud as he gazes at the pool of water. Approaching the situation in the way that seems sensible to him as a warrior of the Sun Empire, the barbarian scans the area for high ground, places that provide cover, and the best route for retreat, if needed.
Survival: 19
"I suggest ranged attacks from several different positions, at maximum distance from the water if possible. And as secluded as possible."
Zolin goes quiet for a moment, seemingly lost in thought, before he says, "And one of us must attempt to draw the monster onto dry ground to create an easy target for the others. What are your thoughts, adventurers?"
Oh, that did it.
"THAT..DOES IT!" Cora screamed, nearly shaking in frustration and anger, and lunged at Lylith with a closed fist.
Right hook swing: 8 Damage: 3
Lilly was prepared and someone leaned out of the way. It was a sloppy swing,
thanks to the ******* dice roller, and it went a bit wild."Stand still so I can KICK YOUR ASS!" she yelled at her. Rearing up for another punch.

What you'd like to do?
"So, herein hides the great beast," thinks Zolin aloud as he gazes at the pool of water. Approaching the situation in the way that seems sensible to him as a warrior of the Sun Empire, the barbarian scans the area for high ground, places that provide cover, and the best route for retreat, if needed.

You, indeed, find a high location that is filled with thick trees that could act as three-quarter cover.
