Beegred feels a little light-headed after the blow, barely keeping his spell going. "You look like you wanted to hit the cleric, and then hit me. You should follow your first instincts instead of changing your mind. Or whatever a rock-pile has for a mind." He continues attacking (2 with magic sword, bonus action for magic dagger). Blessing rolls (already included in attack rolls): 2 , 2 , 1
Attack1: 20 Damage: 14
Attack2: 23 Damage: 13
dagger Attack: 16 Damage: 8
(OOC: All of the Hunter's Mark rolls were 6. I'm glad the concentration roll was successful.)

With the barrage of blows, the dust entity once again begins to spill out of the elemental faster than it can re-enter. The remains of the creature stumbles, then topples over, shattering into several chunks.
The pressure of emotion exuding from the creature is intense, until it funnels into the floor of the cave, out of sight and any other form of perception.
If Skameros is taking care of the elemental in one bag, and Rodolfo a gargoyle in his, then Beegred will put a bunch of pieces from the other gargoyle in his bag. (Don't want the pieces getting mixed together.)
And suggest the two newcomers watch for any unpleasant surprises, while the clean up is going on.

Rodolfo is carefully sifting through the pieces of the gargoyle to find a suitable one when he notices Skameros gather gravel into a bag. "Hold on Skameros, we should choose carefully." He looks at what's Beegred is doing and spots a good one. "Like the one Beegred just found!"
Rodolfo is confident he has selected the chunks of rock that have the most residual magical essence for Nomi to study. While sifting through the debris of the creatures, Rodolfo and Beegred find a large yellow diamond, which Rodolfo can clearly sense is magically enchanted.
Rodolfo says, "I'll take a look at this one later" as he bags the diamond.
"Must be nice, Orubis! Not to worry about that stuff. Can you take a look at the waterfall and the surrounding area here real quick so that we don't have to come back here later? Feels like they may have been guarding something."

"That was so interesting!" Grithik exclaims, barely containing his excitement. "Never seen anything like that before! I'd read about them, but they're much more impressive in reality."
At Rodolfo's suggestion, Grithik will take a closer look around the waterfall for anything the gargoyles and elemental may have been guarding.
Beegred smacks himself in the head, then puts on a confident look. "You beat me to it, I was just about to say the same thing. Don't want to leave without searching for other clues and interesting items."

Grithik searches this cavern, poking at walls for secret doors and trying to wade behind the waterfall too... because there's always a secret cave behind waterfalls! Except this time. The cavern was empty with the exception of the gargoyles, and now it is truly empty.
Your party gather the largest pieces that Rodolfo determined have the best arcane signatures he thinks will help Nomi investigate the the dust entity she calls 'Ogremoch's Bane'. Your party heads northward down the steps flanking the waterfall, and across the large cavern that was once a market surrounded by Deep Gnome residences.
Struggling under the weight of the Elemental and Gargoyle pieces, you all suddenly realize the distant sound of fighting is suddenly very near. A ghost of a svirfneblin is approaching at a jog, waving hands in a panic, soundlessly yelling warnings at things that only it can see. It seems that it will be imminently crossing your path.

Orubis wipes some sweat off his brow.
“I’m not used to working that hard against a creature like that. We normally just let the rat take over and muddle through.”
He starts looking around the area, curious to see if the swirling what’s-it reappears after leaving the elemental.

Does it resemble the same one they saw earlier? Two days ago-ish?
