Ian (assume with Glyn) escort the captive redbrand up to their room. Ian ties him to a chair, points it to a corner, and sits back against the opposite wall to keep watch. Ian will have both daggers out, just in case, knowing a long weapon or bow will do no good in a room.
Glynquinal grateful for the reprieve of the first watch will sit down in an unoccupied corner with his new armor on and his short swords laid across his lap.
The night goes by without incident. The Redbrand grumbles from time to time about having to sleep sitting up, but mostly rests silently. In the morning, he asks, "What are you planning to do with me? You can't leave me locked up in here!"
OOC: You all may press the long rest button, healing to full. I'll remind/point out to everyone that you only level up during a long rest. When you achieve enough XP to gain a level, you must wait until your next long rest to edit your character sheet to reflect the achievement. The four originals should have 500 XP and Rock has 375.
Ian says to the Redbrand You may be of assistance yet.
Ian will take the Redbrand back to the main area of the Inn, and get himself some breakfast while waiting for the others. He will also get something for the Redbrand, and free his weak-side hand. They say you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his inferiors. I hope for your sake, your friends in the manor have treated their captives well...
Glynquinal feeling well rested will join Ian and keep a close eye on the captive Redbrand. Leaving the scimitar behind in the room, he now wears a pair of short swords instead. Realizing he was too distracted from the events the evening before and left both his daggers where they were thrown he wants to make his way back to the scene of the fight, and take a peek at the building the Redbrands had congregated around. Waiting for the Herr Doktor Professor to arrive for a meal, Glynquinal will wait until the good Herr Doktor has a meal in his belly before pressing him to go back and take a look at things in the daylight.
Ian and Glynquinal are having breakfast with the Redbrand. Toblen was very surprised when he found out he had a tied-up Redbrand in one of his rooms last night. He doesn't look very happy with the party. "He leaves as soon as he's done eating," he says sternly to the elves. "You want the wrath of those cursed Redbrands on your head, you keep your heads out of my inn," he says finally, making sure only the rogues can hear him.
Before they are done, Sildar comes into the inn and joins them at their table. He hands 50 gold to Glynquinal. "Your reward for my safe passage to Phandalin," he says with thanks. "I've established myself at the townmaster's hall to help bring law and order to Phandalin." He looks at the pair, seeming to ignore the Redbrand. "I'd like to ask you to find the lost mine of Wave Echo Cave and help the Rockseeker brothers put it back into production. I believe that bringing prosperity to the region will help civilize Phandalin. I'd also encourage you to keep up the pressure on the Cragmaw goblins. I can pay you a 500 gold reward if you can locate Cragmaw Castle and defeat or drive off the tribe’s chieftain. You might find the castle by searching the lands around the Triboar Trail for more raiding parties. Goblins, while ruthless, can be disloyal when their heads are on the line." He stops to look at them, and then appears to remember something. "I also noticed there's a posting on the board outside the townmaster's hall about some orcs causing trouble nearby. I don't know if you'd also be interested in that. If so, stop by and talk with Townmaster Wester. He's a bit of a blowhard, but compliant enough."
Glynquinal graciously receives the payment and tucks it away. "Sildar, I can't speak for any of the others, but I suspect they might be more than willing to lend aid in reminding some of the locals they are not the cat's meow. Goblins I'll be happy to hunt. I have some business with a certain Yeemik yet. We also have to continue our own quest to find and help Gundren. We've been delayed long enough."
Pausing for a moment, Glynquinal thinks about the offers and poses Sildar another question, "If we find Cragmaw Castle, and we end the problem you are having with the goblin chieftain, am I to understand you it would be 500 gold per task offered upon completion?"
OOC: I believe when the rooms were arranged HDP was granted the boon of a single room. It seemed to align with how the Bard liked his comfort.
Rock will go clean up and rest,
Who is guarding the Redbrand?
Ian says Glenquenal and I will watch the Redbrand. Since we only need to meditate a few hours, he and I can swap off to keep an eye on this ruffian.
Glynquinal asks Ian, "You want the first or second watch?"
Ian to Glyn I will take the first watch.

Gruxx will go find his lady friend and apologize, “I’m sorry miss. We kinda had a rough night as you can see.”
Gruxx motions to his bloody body.
”We got some things left to handle so we will have to link up later on. I’m real interested in gettin’ to know you but I’m not up to it tonight.”
Gruxx will then take second watch of Redbrand.
Glynquinal grateful for the reprieve of the first watch will sit down in an unoccupied corner with his new armor on and his short swords laid across his lap.

Rock in his room rest and feeling the changes in his ability and can't wait to see what he can do
OOC: Hey, that's right, Rock levelled up. Congrats on the new level!
Gruxx will go provide overwatch on the Redbrand in case they try anything while being conversed.

Rock needs food, so he will go to the pub and join the party eating and order some raw meat, and ale
Rock to group, "We need to see if we can find anything at the Redbrand hangout and see about finding the family at the ruins of the edge of town"
Graxx whispers to Rock, "500 gold pieces! I've never even seen 500 gold pieces!"
Graxx then says aloud, "I am happy to hunt more goblins."
