Kix nods at sound advice and reverts back to his native form then proceeds to gather everything that seems remotely related to magic from the bodies, then helps destroy the main components of the bodies.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Kat looks down as the Oni falls. She smiles darkly and will assist the others with destroying the bodies. " I think that we should retreat as well. We have done a lot of damage here. The only issue is that by retreating we give the battlefield to the dark lord. It will have time to build up more followers in it's army and knows our weaknesses better. In the end I'm not sure this will help us much in here. " She shrugs and says, " We don't have much choice however. Maybe we need to find more to help us. I feel in my blood that we need to destroy the creature in one attempt and cannot win by destroying parts of it's forces and retreating. Once again, we don't have much choice for now. "
"No problem with me if you decapitate the Oni's head and shatter its hip. I will start helping out with destroying any remnants of the creatures looting as necessary. Before making a tactical retreat to heal up," Rivoril answers Bastion.
"I'm sorry, I'm not a wizard, I wouldn't know how to repair a Golem like you. Does anyone else need some healing? We still have about forty charges left in this wand."
Bastion keeps working, moving from one body to another, he responds to Ghanima, "Actually yes you do. Unlike a true Golem, my body would respond to one of your healing spells or that wand much like a natural creature, it's just not as efficient as magic intended to repair an object. You might have to expend two or three charges from that wand in order to have the same effect as one charge spent on anyone else. Save your magic though, I have the tools and skill needed to repair myself, I just need several peaceful hours to work. If anything, it is miss Katharina's injury that will be difficult to deal with."
"As to the issue of letting the enemy recover, at the current pace we are at least destroying more of their forces faster than I think they can muster. Raising strong undead takes a good bit of time from what little I understand. What has me worried is that the enemy might be deliberately delaying us, and using the time to prepare an especially deadly creature or trap. I also wish we knew for sure how many more Fighters they still have in reserve."
Avan's and the jackal's wounds slowly close over time, though the jackal still needs two more heals from the wand or from prepared spells. Avan offers an Inflict Light Wounds on Kat, having a more powerful casting than Dena. "Not that big an issue," he assures Bastion.
Inflict: 12
"I worry about the same, Kat, but so far we haven't been targeted by more undead down here, only living ogres. They could still be torturing prisoners or taking another route to the village! Let's first check up on the teens and women we rescued."
Once everyone is slowly meandering that way (hopefully), Avan adds, "I can use a summon for scouting if we need to know what's up ahead without risking ourselves, but it's a waste of a potential combat spell. Depending on the creature I choose, it can open the doors to these rooms for us."
Kixarn pipes up, as well. "I, too, summon can spell to use for scouting, but it is short. My other spells I have only a couple left, useful. Otherwise, I'm less useful now."

After hearing Avan speak Rivoril chimes in. "It would also be impractical for me to explore new doors and passages. Even, if I were to successfully unlock one or render a trap useless. The potential of releasing more creatures on a weakened party that needs recovery is greatly increased. The, question on whether I need to check for traps and unlock doors? On the areas already traversed I don't know? Either, way some in the party definitely need time to recover. If, I need to recheck that the coast is clear to the surface again. So, be it," Rivoril says to the others awaiting fresh orders.
"We just cleared that path, let's just get back up the ropes and to what passes for our redoubt."
Its a short walk back to the others, with no unexplored doors or regions in between, and we never once took our eyes off of the path that the enemy would have to take to get in between us and them (assuming of course there isn't a secret path we're unaware of.) So let's not make this too complicated. Keep an eye out, but get moving.
You are all able to make it back up the ropes and to the area that you left the Teens and the women. Nothing has changed and the Teens and women are still doing ok. They are a bit hungry nd thirsty but fine and recovering.
Looted from the bodies: You have three flaming great swords. (This is why they were able to do some good damage.) You also were able to get two suits of splint mail from the Ogres along with the normal weapons that ogres carry. One had on a ring that proves to be magical.
Avan is willing to use up his single prepared Detect Magic to figure out the items' auras, though he admits to being unable to make totally sure of all their properties. He will keep the spell up as we're returning, checking the corridors for auras and wanting to get an peek into the opened rooms if the rest of the party backs him up.
Spellcraft: 10, 28, 17
"Do you want me to stand guard at the junction?" Avan offers, "Just to make sure nothing gets past into the rooms we've explored. It will be the rare creature that gets the jump on me and I can transform and fly away. Otherwise my armour should protect me." He looks at the gash, charred and splintered, that the ogre caused. "That can be fixed."
After making sure the makeshift encampment is secure, Bastion sits down heavily and starts pulling out a variety of tools from his magical pack, including a portable anvil. "If someone could build up the fire a bit I would appreciate it, need to heat up some iron and melt the lead for the weld."
Craft armor check -15 = hp repaired without expending repair kit 8
After that, let's see how many kits I need to expend to get back to full... if anyone is wondering, these things were Homebrew items made by kn in response to my earlier difficulties in repairing such injuries
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bastion is quite relieved when the rest passes without incident. As people get moving, he asks, "How are the food and water supplies for you organic types? Hopefully we can get out of here today, but if not you might need to start rationing."
One more kit should do it 12
6 spent, 11 remaining, and then another 6 master kits. Good thing I bought up a good stock of these things, somehow I suspect I'll be taking more damage before this is through.
Kixarn does a quick look through his supplies and reports he has four days worth of food to work with. Water may be an issue, though, if they are there much longer. "What direction do we head off to? Up or down further deep?"He asks.
OOC- Spells refilled. :)

Rivoril, looks at his supplies in his sack. " I have enough rations for a week and a waterskin left but that's about it. Who's getting the flaming swords and the ring,"? he said.
Kat shrugs as she looks at the others. " I can't use those swords Too unwieldy for me. Bastion can...I am not sure who else could. As for the ring I have interest in it. However I feel that someone like Kix could make better use of it. " She looks around for a moment. " I can stay here indefinetly. I just need a few of you to be blood donors. " She flashes a smile and winks. " Just kidding. "

The "night" passes without any issues. You all make it to see another day.

Avan is able to detect magic on the three swords that radiation a moderate evocation magic while the ring radiates a strong conjuration magic..

I hope I did this correctly...s/b MB’s sheet.
It looks good just adjust the starting level as we discussed.
