After examining what is found, Myth will gear up. He checks the draw on the sheathes and the string and pulleys on his own bow. Once dressed he looks around at the rest of the surroundings.
Opening the other chest Rivoril finds the following: six dresses (probably from the captives upstairs, two sets of manacles, A pouch filled with 125 gold, a pouch filled with various gems (10 gp each) 25 total gems, He also finds four more potions One blue, One red, one white and one Green. Meanwhile Kixarn is pretty sure that the blue potion they found in the first chest is a cure Critical wounds, He feels the white one is a oil of repair and the green one is a cure light wounds. Myth will find that all his gear is in working order. So far no one has head or seen anything that may present itself as danger.

Avan will double check Kixarn's work on the blue Cure Critical potion, then checks the ones he failed to identify. "I wouldn't just assume they're the same, but if we get desperate we might have to use them as though they were. Our released captives might know what they are, these are their clothes after all. Let's take it to them."

As we return to the women and teens, Avan will stay at the bottom of the hole, unwilling to part from his jackal and bother with the hassle of tying ropes and using pulleys again.
Bastion looks at the dresses, and then around at the two directions left to travel, "All right, we're getting too spread out here. We can't control all access points anymore without splitting up or stretching too far apart. If we regroup and move on, the enemy will be able to get at those left above. So, lets bring them with us. I'm sure they won't be thrilled about coming back down here or being near the enemy, but the prisoners should be strong enough now to move under their own power. Any objections?"
If the others agree, Bastion will suggest heading back to the stairwell tunnel and sending a few people up to give the prisoners the clothing found and bring them down while the rest secure the base.
Myth will nod in agreement. I will stand guard here unless directed otherwise-I am an unknown to them and would not cause them more terror than needed. He smiles crookedly. Unless of course the intent IS to give them pause-in which case I’m all in.
Bastion shakes his head, "No, that is not the intent. The women in question were prisoners down here as well, and they were in much worse shape than you when we found them."
He looks in the direction of the stairwell room, "While we're messing around in there, anyone have any ideas for getting rid of that magical darkness effect? I'm tired of going up and down blind."
Myth steps up to the edge of the darkness then grasps a sword hilt. There s/b a blue glow now shinning from the magical hilt. If it is does it penetrate into the darkness and how far?
Kixarn thinks about what he knows of his own spells and abilities and comments "Bastion, my own darkness spell is based and put on an object, to make dark. It can be covered to bring light back, so maybe we can look for the spot it's cast upon? We cover that, dark goes away, perhaps."
If agreed to, Kixarn and Korvo help trying to locate the point the darkness is cast by covering up areas on the walls and ceilings, groping around in the dark to do so. He'll use the shapesand into a curve dome dish shape with a handle to cover an area (~2' diameter).

You all head back to where you left the prisoners. Avan and the Jackal stay behind at the bottom of the hole. As you get back to the hole you can not seem to find what is keeping the darkness there but it is still there. The arrow of light does allow you to sweep the darkness away for a time but after it is out of the darkness the darkness returns. Soon you have the women's clothing back to them and they are very thankful. While they are not sure about being back down in the lower parts they feel better to have extra protection than just the teenage boys. Avan was able to confirm the potions are as follows. Blue - Cure Critical wounds, Green - Cure light Wounds, White - Oil of moderate repair and the Red - Cause Moderate wounds.
Bastion will remain at the bottom with Avan, making sure everyone makes the transit safely.
Once all are at the bottom, the group will form up, and proceed north, towards where the ogres had emerged from.
Tentative marching order. Myth and Rivoril scouting just ahead of Avan and his jackal. Bastion, Katharina, and Arylinia acting as rearguard, everyone else mixed in with the civvies in between. We'll keep the townsfolk hopping from cover to cover. If there is no cover when trouble pops up, we'll be telling them to drop to the floor to make themselves tougher to hit.
Kixarn will lead the pack of civilians in the middle, wand at the ready, with Korvu scouting and helping eyes next to the lead people.

You follow the corridor forward and proceed up a long flight of stairs. At the top of the stairs is a corridor that goes to the left. A few feet down this corridor you see the remains of a charred Ogre. Beyond that you see a closed door. The corridor continues to go straight.
Bastion grins as he spots the scorched ogre, the group's handiwork from a previous fight. "Well now, that looks familiar. Riv, Myth, take the left passage, if they haven't blocked that off as well that's our way out of this place."
If everyone agrees, the group will head north and then west, heading out of the ruins to get a breath of fresh air and see the sunlight. Odds are the villagers would ever so slightly prefer to go home.
Arilyanna looks at Avan and the new comer. She introduces herself to the new comer in elvish. He would have noticed she is half elf and a Ranger by trade. Answering Avan's question about the arrow; " I will take it, it may come in handy down here. "
She gives him a smile. She then gets into her place and follows the group in the direction choosen. Keeping and eye and ear out for any trouble. Bow at the ready.
