Mucor will stand behind jinara, ready to help him in any way he can, ready to speak to the griffons if needed.

Gaelin would speak to the blacksmith about making a breastplate type armor for Valeera and the griffons using the remaining mithral. Then he would talk with the arcanist or alchemist, whoever would know how to make the earpieces.
Gaelin will continue to use Greater Restoration and Cure Wounds for a few days until the werebear and griffons are fully recovered... and whatever Aryn's pseudodragon needs.

The blacksmith informs you he has found two other smiths that are proficient in Mithral. When you talk to him about the amount of metal left and the potential for Valeera and the griffons to have chest armor he is adamant that they have enough material for the job. He informs you that it will take 30 days to create the armor for both Valeera and all 5 griffons and will cost 1000 gold total.
Iris' (arcanist) curiosity is peaked by your idea for the earpieces. She rummages through a book regarding ingenuity among wizards and finds accounts of stones that allow Sending to be cast between two stones that are attuned to each other. She informs you that it is possible but will take 1000 gold and take 21 days to create earpieces that allow for instant Message between the members of your party.
(Will get to the werebear/griffons, etc later... enjoy the weekend!)

(Ya roll away. I know I always put in three spaces between words and the rolls themselves. It's been my experience that if you only have one space before you type [roll it errors out. )
Jinara walks in the area of the Griffons and bows to each of them showing respect sa much as he can.

Jinara-As you bow and approach the griffons they cock their heads back and forth then bend their heads towards you eyeing you deeply. You reach out your hand slowly palm down and the first girffon sniffs it cautiously before it drupes its head under your hand and you scratch its head. Each of the griffons follow suit as Inara exits the tent. She stands beside you and motions to Mucor. "He and his staff have an ability that will allow you to increase the intelligence of these creatures which will make them much more useful to you should you decide to use them in combat. They are expressive proud beasts but loyal to their masters. Be good to them and they will respond in kind." she pats you on the shoulder and gathers you all together again outside.
"I will still visit when I have time to check your progress or if the grove need your assistance with a special mission. Care for these people and creatures, for they are all the good that is left among the desolation from Dageon's forces. Be vigilant, and assist those in need. Herbert will alert you when your services are needed to purge the Drekthar from within our territory. Blessings and good fortune friends." Inara says and turns to leave.
"Thank you for this opportunity... we will not let you down. Does this count as our oath being fulfilled?" Aryn will say as Inara turns away.
Inara pauses and turns back to face the group. "Yes, the Elanaetas hold your oath fulfilled. Those items are now completely your own. You will find the chest is already in your vault. If there aren't any further questions I will take my leave." Inara says with a smile.
(Chest contains 10,000 gold.)
(2000 gold each from chest. Gaelin will pay for the earpieces and mithral armor for Valeera/ Griffons from his cut of the chest.)
(Aryn will keep her cut in the Vault)
(Mucor just wants to make sure the grove and chest for Valeera are covered. I think the grove was paid off however and am not sure if a cost for the chest was ever determined? All the money can go to the vault other than the money that might be needed for those two things)
Mucor would nod to Inara. "Thank you for your help, let us know what we can do to assist you going forward" The minotaur would say with a snort. Then turning to his companions he will say. "I do have a wide variety of spells that may be helpful in communicating and working with some of the new creatures that have chosen to join our cause" Mucor would say holding out his staff.
***So some of these spells I can only cast on myself.. and others I would have to cast on the beast and it would make them friendly to ME but then I could ask them to listen to you.... ***

(Grove is paid for. Your chest cost was 600 gold and would take 21 days once the smithy was upgraded but i didn't see anywhere that Mucor paid for it.)
(You can also cast Awaken on the griffons if Jinara wants you to. Griffons are beasts... I don't care what D&D says.)
That could also be awesome.
After receiving his new charge, and making a connection with the new griffons, Jinara's routine has changed a bit prior to Inara's return. Jinara's morning begins with rehabilitation work and flight practice with the griffons building their stamina back from their injuries. With the help of Gaelin's healing, Jinara has grown to enjoy his mornings. His afternoons are with the arcanist, researching and monitoring the progress of the tower upgrade.
Jinara wakes one morning (however you long you deem appropriate for this and what I would need to do to get to this point Xtra), seeing the progress of the griffons and making bonds with them, and calls the party "Gaelin, Mucor, Zin, Aryn. Meet me in the courtyard." Once they all arrive, "Thank you for accompanying me. It is time, my friends, to determine your new best friend. Your griffon." The lightbringers are placed in a specific location across from the line of griffons, each donning a different color marker around their neck (Black, Sliver, Blue, Brass, Purple). Jinara walks each of companions to a specific griffon.
(I am writing each introduction below so people know their colors. Xtra if you want any of them to roll, feel free. I am assuming that I've worked enough with the griffins to establish the alpha bond and they know I have their best interest at heart, but I've written as if the party will have to interact with them as well. I hope that is ok)
First is Mucor. Jinara opens his stance for Mucor to approach the griffin directly across from Mucor. This griffin dons the black marker. "My dear minotaur. I would like to introduce you to Stone Wing. Stone Wing, this is Mucor. Now all you need to do is make your impression. Go ahead Mucor." Stone Wing addresses with grace bowing his head covered in deep gray feathers, slowly unfurling his wings, and awaits Mucor's response.
Second is Aryn. Jinara approaches Aryn differently than Mucor. Jinara comes to Aryn side and whispers "Be careful. She is a bit headstrong. Confidence goes a long way with this one." before he formally says "Ayrn, meet Calypso. Calypso, be nice!" Calypso begins by shaking her head violently and stomps one of her hooves. She is wearing the blue marker represented the blue in her wings. She just stares as Aryn awaiting her response.
Next is Gaelin. Jinara approaches the griffin in lieu of approaching Gaelin. "Gaelin, this is Bronze Claw. Patience goes a long way with this one. He needs to come to you." The griffin stands motionless looking at Gaelin wearing the bronze marker.
Zin stands waiting patiently, looking at 2 griffins remaining. One griffin is pure white, while the other is pure black. Both of similar size. Jinara tosses the purple marker to Zinmaer. "You get to choose. Both are wondrous beasts. This one (point to the white one) is Doom Tail, and this one (black) is Night Dream." (@Xtra. Im rolling a d20 to decide for Zinmaer. 1-10=White, 11-20=Black. Jinara will take the other 6)
(Ps. Mucor, I have no problem with casting Awaken on the Griffons. If Xtra can craft responses, I'd say let's do it!) lol

Mucor will smile and place his hand on Jinara's shoulder. "Thank you friend" the minotaur would say looking from Jinara to the staff in his hand. Casting speak with animals he would take a step towards the griffon and lower his head in respect. "Hello friend, My name is Mucor... " He would say with a smile as he looks up to the griffon. "I look forward to working with you. I hope that we can be close friends" He would say as he reaches into his pack and pulls out a handful of dried meat. Holding it out towards Stone Wing in an peaceful offering.
