"Well, this city is a dangerous place and I would be terribly distraught if anything happened to any of you, so perhaps we should move together and visit everyone's guild of choice one by one?"
The Archaeologists Guild is located in District 12, one of the wealthier districts in the city. The first floor of the massive iron and glass building is devoted to a museum-like space reserved for the upper class and featuring thousands of artifacts and relics recovered from The Waste. Four iron golems stand guard outside the building, two on either side of the glass double-doors and two patrolling the perimeter. A titanic red banner hanging above the entrance depicts a book and a skull, etched in gold.
Nicolette looks at the golems lined up and then to Hawk. "Oh, no, these are not like you. These are autonomous peacekeeping units. You are something... more." She walks up to the door, opens her mouth, then stops and looks back at the group, her eyes flicking over each member, before turning back.
"Nicolette Honeysapper, number 5633 with four guests." As she utters the words, the bolting mechanism snaps back with in the door, a staccato echo across the street. Then, the doors open.
"Ooh, I hope the Reverend hasn't reported me as delinquent or... hrm, not likely, it's only been an hour at best. Alright, friends, let's go inside!"
The reception hall is no less impressive or imposing then the exterior of the building. A polished wooden desk spans the length of the wall to your right, staffed by a dozen clerks. Busts of the more prominent members of the guild stand across from the desk, and an ornate tapestry depicting a red dragon on a mound of gold hangs on the wall in front of you. A spiraling staircase leads to the exhibit galleries.
Hawk absentmindedly heads up stairs towards the galleries. This place is far more ornate than anything he has likely seen. However, the architecture and mechanical concept are fairly familiar.
Kyoka looks around with a little confused look on her face, obviously not quite sure what to think of the place. "Well...uhhh...guess this should do. The Monster Hunter guild would be somewhat redundant anyway..." She chuckles about some joke only she herself understands as she beings to pacer over to the staircase. "So, you bunch sure about this?"

"Hawk will stay with tinker-lady for now."
(Are you planning on proceeding to one of the guilds?)

(Well we have 2 for the archaeologists guild and 1 for 2 others so I suppose we'll go there)

Barosh walks up to one of the golems, breathes on it to create a film of mist, then draws a smily face and smiles a toothy grin at his companions.
"Nicolette! We're here, where do you go to get that espedishon thing?"
Hawk walks in and looks somewhat confused at the golems. He absent-mindedly taps Nico on the head. "Hey, are those warforged too?"

While they walk in, Barosh asks Nicolette, "What does the number mean? And how do you get reported as delinquent? That sounds pretty bad."

(It looks like we have lost more than half the party. If they have not reappeared by the end of the holidays I'll have to discontinue this thread.)
