"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"Maybe there's someone here that can give us more information about the amulet," Bree said, standing again. "I know that Princess Dandelion said it was just a myth, but she said the same thing about other stuff that ended up being real. Maybe there's a story about how the amulet can be destroyed." She headed toward the door. "I'm going to see what I can find out."
Bree froze for a moment, but nodded and continued. She took a deep breath, held it, and released it as a sigh. Keep it together, Bree, she thought. Don't let him see how much you're hurting.
Bree slowed, looking at the ring. "I... it... shows me things. The first time, it showed me... horrible things. It showed you... dead. It showed everyone dead. I saw the fake Lord Etter in his true form, but I mistakenly thought it was Kat, turned evil, and killed everyone." She swallowed hard. "This time... this time was different. This time, I could interact with things, like I was on a different plane of existence. I saw the fake Etter again, but he talked to me. It was as if he could see me. He said he could see me watching and wanted to let me know he knew. Then..." She paused, clenching her hands into fists. "Then I was back in Oakhurst. But I was alone. You weren't there, nobody. Just me. I went into the tavern and it was empty. Except for... my dad. He was there, but he was older. He didn't die back then, like I thought he had. He was captured by the Queen and held for two months before he escaped. He explained that the fake Etter had captured him, and how he had prayed with Haven for help. He said it was his dying wish..." She trailed off, unclenching her fist and looking at the ring again. "But anyway, it shows me things. I can also 'hide' things within it... somehow. I don't know how it works, really. But if I hold something in my hand, I can think 'I want this inside the ring' and it just disappears. Then I can think 'I want it back in my hand' and it's in my hand."
"That sounds very powerful." Thell looked down at his feet as they walked, "I made a pact with Whelm, it gave me a bit of it's power in exchange for becoming it's servant. I think I tore my soul, while you were in your trance I prayed to Mask, my lord, and he spoke to me."
"For you, and talking with my god today made me realize why." Thell, looked nearby and saw the garden where they had spent the night together what seemed like an eternity ago, "Come with me" he led Bree into the garden by the hand and once they stood next to the large fountain near the middle he got down on one knee. He looked Bree in her big beautiful eyes and took her hands into both of his, "My whole life has been chaotic, and I adopted that chaos, sowing it, feeding it, growing it to be the shield that I used to protect myself from the horrors, and the blessings of the world. I didn't love myself and I didn't think I could, I have always had a fear that I'd become my father; a sad, mean, cold hearted man with only violence in his heart, but I love you Bree, and it's a messy chaotic love right now. We may be marching into our certain demise, but somehow this feels right because as messy and chaotic as it has been, through it all, you are the only thing that makes sense to me and I would literally do anything to protect you." Thell looked down, bowing his head and resting his forehead against Bree's hand. "I will never be typical, or normal, and I will mess up because, as much as I'd love to say I have complete control over my actions, I am going to be guided by absolute chaos. But what I can promise is that with every breath I breath from now until the end of my life I will do everything I can to make you happy, to help you achieve whatever dreams you can think of, and to use every power I have at my disposal to protect you from whatever threat rises up against us." Thell rose his eyes back up to Bree's and smiled, "Bree Underland, will you marry me?"
Bree stood, stunned. Staring into Thell's eyes, mouth open, she didn't know what to say, how to react. "I've been the cause of so much trouble. People have gotten hurt, killed, because of me. I don't want you to tear yourself apart for me!" She released his hands and placed her hands on both sides of his face. "I can't bear thinking of losing you. I just lost my father for the second time, today. Why..." She swallowed hard, trying desperately to maintain composure. "Why would you do this?"
Thell shifted his gaze from one of Bree's eyes to the other, confused by what was happening, "Do you mean why would I tear myself in two...or ask you to marry me, because both have similar answers"
Bree felt as if her heart were about to burst out of her chest. "Why are you tearing yourself apart for me? What do you think that is going to end up doing to you?"
Thell looked down at his feet, his eyebrows furrowed as a pain of suspected realization spread into his heart, "I saw this going differently in my mind, are you..." Thell choked up a bit, "...are you saying no?"
"No," Bree said softly. "I'm not saying that. I'm just worried for you. For us. I need to know I'm not going to lose you because of this pact you made."
Bree slowly wrapped her arms around Thell's neck, pulling him close. She wanted to say something, but the emotional weight of the day weighed heavy on her, and she collapsed against him, sobbing.
Thell held Bree close, his arms wrapped tightly around her in the most loving embrace he could manage. He nuzzled his his faced close to her neck so she could feel the warmth of his cheek against it. "I am sorry about your dad hun, I know how much he meant to you." Thell moved his hand up to run it down the back of her hair, "I'm here"

Thell stepped forward, "Bree...I'll go with"

Thell walked beside Bree, he had so many questions, so many things he wanted to say, where to begin..."What does your ring do?"
