Benagol dashes forward: he cannot believe his own eyes: some monsters by the entrance of the cave, strange appearance, half human, half distorted.
They are evil , no doubt, and they are attacking his companion. He aims at one of them who is strangely enveloped by an eerie light, then he drops the crossbow, eager to get in melee with them, even if wondering whether he did well or not in joining this company...they seem to gather all the bad luck around them...

Liet sees them drop, and says "If any are alive we should tie them up. They may know how to get to the cave, or what we can expect to find when we get there. Help me bind them." and checks the bodies to see which are still living, and starts tying them up. He then spreads some mushroom spores over the dead bodies, and casts druidcraft so they start to grow and begin decomposing.
Steve walks up to one of the two fellows tied and laying on his side. Crouching down, putting nose to nose, Steve gently slaps his cheek.“Hello there buddy! You can sure get ugly now, huh? Say, my compatriots and I mean ya’ll no disrespect, but freaking out as ya did, we had to dispatch your friends. Sad thing that is. I’m sure you understand. Anyway, why don’t you just tell me what you’re on about, and we will see about cutting these ropes and becoming good friends now.” Steve reveals a dagger, though his intention to cut ropes is much less than his intention to cut this guy’s throat. “How about that? Tell me now... what is up with you wolfin’-out and getting all agro my dude?

They are both on the brink of death. But if they wake before they die, then we'll totally use that bit of dialogue. Can anyone in the party heal at all?)))
(((@Dukkha, also, next time, instead of rolling all three, deception, intimidation, and persuasion, just pick a single one and explain via the narrative why you are choosing that roll. For example, in your dialogue just now, you revealed a dagger, which seems pretty threatening, so I would consider only rolling intimidation. That said, we'll just keep what you have for now, as you could argue for any of them. )))
Liet finds armbands on each person, and a random assortment of normal things for travelling. Dry foods, dagger, bow, extra clothes, etc... Nothing spectacular.
Liet pockets the arm bands to show the Baron later and, seeing Steve struggle to wake the dudes up, casts goodberry and puts one in each of their mouths.
Both men spit and sputter, one coughing up blood, the other groaning as he grips his burned flesh. ((insert Dukkha's dialogue)).
"It's the b-bands..." The first man stutters, in between bouts of red coming out his mouth. "They make it so... so we can change. Don't do nothing but change the looks though, and the... the cost is somethin' fierce. I felt like dog shit ever since I put that bloody thing on. Usually it was enough to scare off anyone, but you lot don't seem too scareable..."
"Shut it, Gregory!" The other shouts. "Stop your talking, the boss will do worse to us than these folks."
"Oh go **** yerself," The first shouts back. "I'm done with him, he's been nothin' but trouble. Maybe these folks'll at least let us go. If we returned to the boss empty handed again he'd beat us to death sure as the sun rises... Better off to get away clean, I say. What is it you want? We don't have nothin' worth takin'..." The man clutches his side and has another coughing fit, spitting up wet, frothy blood onto the ground.
Handingi a band over Liet replies "Of course. The last group we fought had them on as well. And simply removing them took the work of a powerful cleric just to keep the men alive." ((he was only a level 1 cleric, but Liet thinks he was powerful for what he did :P ))
When Liet removes the armband from one of the dead men, it scrapes the flesh as it is pried off. There are barbs on the inside that had attached the band to the arm. It leaves a long gash.
Fran immediately can feel the magic emanate from the item. Between the man's description, and what the other's have experienced, you notice that the band allows the user to cast 'disguise self' at will. These men obviously used it to transform their appearance into demonic creatures, but other than the looks nothing had changed.
If you recall, the men at the cabin were all very ill from the bands. It seems these four men were as well, which was probably why it was so easy to defeat them.
The elf drops the band to the floor and tries to stomp it to crash it.
"I will only keep one as a proof. They have a minor spell on them wich allows them to change their appearance and look more demonic... but it also makes them sick. The ones at the cabin were sick too. That's why they put so small fight... and look that gash. These are evil things."
Turning to the tied up duo Liet says "I have no desire to kill you like your friends. We're headed to your main hideout to deal with your boss. Tell us how to get there, what dangers we may face, and swear you won't terrorize the locals (or us again), and I'll try to convince my friends here to let me let you go."
((I'm bad at this... intimidation 19.. maybe someone helps?^^ 9)) ((woo~~ didn't need the help~))
Despite the halfling's size, once Liet approaches the man, he cowers beneath Liets gaze as he continues his coughing fit. "Aye, Aye! I'll tell you whatever you need to know little one, errr.. *cough* I mean, sir..."
"I told you to not say nothin' Gre-" The other starts
"SHUT IT! They might let us live, which is more than the boss'll do. I'm tellin' em, then I' headed back West. I've had enough of this stupid Republic, I need to be 'round me own kind again..." The man spits. Then starts to divulge the information.
He explains how to follow the path to the cabin, then the path north of the cabin for two days. Eventually you'll come across a large boulder on the side of the path. There the path secretly splits into two, with one route covered by dense foliage. Follow the hidden path, which about a half day later will lead to the cave entrance. He mentions a few traps along the way, on that path, and a couple within the cave itself, but they aren't particularly difficult to see. The real challenge will be the sheer number of men. Apparently, this man's 'boss', the 'demon of the mine' you seek, has quite a few people holed up in the cave, and he doubts they will give up without a fight. Most are sickly, as he was, but there are a LOT of them, not to mention the boss himself, who is not a small man... After telling you all this, the man pleads for you to let him go. He promises to head straight to Luthaan and catch the next ship heading west.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Believing what the man has told him, Liet starts to untie their binds and reminds them to get the hell out of the area before the group, or his boss, finds them again.
((let's give it some hours to see how the rest of the team reacts to this, but Liet is fine to let these two go))
Frenevîr just let the halfling do his thing. It seems that he knows what he is doing.
"Now " he says when the men are going to leave " This time we were kind to you. If I ever see you again... " his rapier suddenly burst into blue flames " I will not hold my hand. Leave!"
( Just use Pretisdigitation on the blade to make that effect ;) )
Frenevîr doesn't stops, he ducks and turns and the sword cuts the air when he was a moment before.
