Dominique stows his blade and nods. "Very well, it would be a shame not to claim resources this readily available. Igden, could you check m for traps? The lead one in particular, lead is often used to hide magical auras. Might contain a useful artefact of some sort."
Both the lead and gold chests are free of traps. Igden's thieves' tools find no point of entry, as the chests seem to be without lock or latch. A few moments pass as Igden and Irostine examine the chests before tiny, glowing orbs begin to emerge from the chests, collecting on a point above all three chests. A few seconds pass before these orbs form themselves into the shape of a human man, whose eyes are closed. The man silently makes a few gestures before opening his eyes, and then he begins to speak.
"Greetings, travelers." The man's voice sounds clear as day, though it appears to be an overlay on top of some other ancient language none of you recognize. The source of the sound is unclear, as it seems to come from the walls of the antechamber. "I am the one called Tel'thuul, Sorcerer King of the Dragonbone Islands. I can only assume that you are after our treasures. My kingdom is falling. Even as I record this message, I am under siege. To satisfy your desires, I have prepared these three chests. You may only choose one of these, gold, silver, or lead. The golden chest contains that which all men desire. The silver contains the mark of holiness, and with it, the responsibility to rid the world of evil. The lead contains a great burden, one that I myself bore long ago. Choose wisely, for each one comes with its own trial."
With that, Tel-thuul disperses into glowing orbs, and the room is silent once more. Magister Albrecht seems to have not noticed, the loxodon engrossed in the door he is trying to unseal.
Pazumin speaks up: "Magister, what do you know of Tel'thuul, and what would he consider a great burden, a mark or holiness, and that which all men desire?"

As Irostine lays his hands on top of the chest to open it, the other two melt away, merging with the leaden chest. Irostine has a moment to step back as the chest begins to shift and change its shape, forming a tall, armored human-shaped creature wielding a halberd with two swords on either hip. Slowly, the thing begins to move, holding the halberd in both hands as a red light illuminates from within its helm. The small room begins to widen as the doorway is replaced with iron bars, locking everyone in.

Since Igden is near the wall, he is going to start looking around for a way to open the door. He has his hand crossbow ready to fire when it is his turn.
With the choice of the lead chest, upon defeating the sacred statue, the party would obtain an Orb of Dragonkind with the Curse of the Loadstone. Shortly thereafter, the ruin would begin to crumble, as Magister Albrecht retrieved the objective of this venture. The object in question that you all went down into the ruin to retrieve is a startup key to an ancient city deeper out at sea. The city has long been overgrown, but the mechanisms still work. When started up, the city begins to rise into the air, displacing the plant and animal life that has overtaken it. Part of the city is covered with warnings from the race that constructed the place, giving an account of how this city was used to wreak destruction and end the world. Within the city is an archive that explains that the world is on its fifth age, with it being destroyed four times before by a seemingly unending conflict. The Army of Light disregards this warning, regardless of player protests. There's a war to end, after all.

"Sure thing Dom, you're right about the lead."

Pazumin is here for a job and takes up position halfway between the door and the antechamber ready to shoot anything that attacks.

"Hhmmmm, intriguing, as a trickster myself I might go for the lead since this seems like a trick question! But I'm not sure"
