Incantis holds the surrendered goblin's hands together with mage hand, hoping the fear of the situation will bind the critter more than the force on its wrists. "I'd not move if I were you.""Vaz! How goes it in there?"

Incantis, you move a little closer in order to cast mage hand. The hand hasn't much force, but does grab onto the goblin's hands and try to force them together.
Goblin 3, confused and alone, unable to perform the task instructed by Strix, attempts to flee. Strix's spear strikes the back of its head and it falls dead to the ground.

Vaz uses the Staff of Defence to block the attack (5/10) ,his failure to feed the other goblin fire bringing him back to his senses somewhat. He tries to bring the staff down on the remaining goblins head.
Attack: 20 Damage: 2
Am I reading this right? My unarmed combat is 1 damage plus my Strength modifier which is -1. So no matter how much I punch and kick I will never so much as bruise a peach? That can't be right can it?

Varinth's staff attack misses the increasingly frantic goblin.
That is Rules As Written, yes. It is impossible for Varinth to hit someone hard enough actually to injure them in any way.
Another grazes your ear as it whistles past, clattering into the stone wall nearby. Your head jerks round and you see two goblins emerging from a doorway to the north. These are the other two sentry archers who failed to notice the group's arrival or the initial combat, but have finally been alerted by Dekhan's warcry. They advance towards you, apparently unaware that they are already badly outnumbered.
(Initially unseen, they emerged from the door to the top left.)
E: Sildar
Sildar, looking down at the dead goblin, glances up as he hears the first arrow strike. He races towards the sound, and then dashes to make up the remaining distance, but cannot take any further action.

Dekhan attempts to rein in his emotions. He sees the arrow strike Incantis and realizes G11’s life is forfeit. He focuses on the flame within trying to realize his potential as the strong right hand of the light. His eyes blaze as he strikes at the goblin. Attack: 7 Damage: 11
((Jeezy creezy we may have an anti-Paladin on our hands here pretty soon.))
Strix follows Sildar, overtaking him (assuming 5ft per square) to arrive in the square 2w 1n of him.
"Keep up, oldie!" He calls gleefully as he 17 (for 11) apparently caves in one of the goblins' skulls. "Srender?" He asks the other as he sidesteps and kicks out at him 23 (for 6
Dekhan, you almost feel as if something is wrong. The light will not guide your hand today. Your blows are wild, only hitting very occasionally. Your latest attack misses by a mile.
Strix, you dart across the rubble, scattering little stones as you go, hearing them clattering across the stone floor as you speed onwards towards your target. With a single thrust, you pierce the goblin's heart; it looks astonished as you withdraw your spear and the body falls to the ground. Your blow to the other goblin hits, and you hear something crack in its chest. However, it stays up, wincing and looking frantically from you to Sildar and back again.

Scupper eyeballs the other goblin
Yer next, Sweetgreen.
Scupper, that's enough (given Dekhan did hit it once already) to fell the goblin, dead and frozen on the ground.
H: Goblin 11
The goblin is desperate, but does not flee. Instead, it makes an attack on Varinth, as he seems more vulnerable:
Attack: 13 Damage: 3
That hits (unless shielded).
I: Incantis is up.
I did hit it once, you guys. One shining moment when I rolled higher than a 5
Not every day can be victory in single combat with an orc chief 😉
Hahaha! True! That goblin gave me more trouble than Breougor did!

No, it's easy enough to traverse.

Scupper, you don't seem to get any reaction from the goblin you can see, at least not yet.
Goblin 11, though it hears Scupper, is focused on the battle in front of it, and it makes an attack on Dekhan:
Attack: 14 Damage: 7
Its scimitar makes a loud clang as it bounces off Dekhan's shield.
Incantis is up.
