The drow is securely manacled, and you stand together outside the Forge room.
Zhudala scouts the surrounding area, and as she does so, another sound wave passes through you. She investigates the lake cavern to the north - nothing has changed. She starts to head west, but immediately sees the flameskull floating in the furnace room and backs off. The heads south, past the other building, as far as the now-scorched fungus cave - she sees tracks through the ash indicating that this is the way the drow and bugbears followed you. Then she returns to the party.
Dekhan kneels next to the drow, tears strips of cloth from his tabard, and binds the elf’s fingers. If i recall correctly, even non magic using drow can cast some spells, no sense in not taking every precaution.
The drow is unconscious at zero HP, but stable after he was taken down by non-lethal attack.
Scupper grabs one bound finger and attempts to break it. Scupper, you can make an attack; bear in mind that any damage will be a critical hit and immediately the drow will fail two death saving throws.
If we want to... talk to him, I could try bringing him around. Push comes to shove I could always siphon a tiny bit of divine light to bring him back to consciousness. I do have some pressing questions.
"Aye. That last one really had it in for ye. Right Dek. Let's wake him up and get to work."
Scupper wants to set the scene in order to lower that drow's sense of composure. He'll break out his daggers and go looking round for any tools that might looks suitably threatening.
"Strix, lad. You remember the ol' eat their face trick? Maybe we should run that one again with one of these bugbear bodies and some prestidigitation from our arcanists. Convince him you'll eat his face alive? Otherwise I'm just skinning him again and I know someof ye frown upon that."
Strix frowns but doesn't see any point in fighting it. He takes a few deep breaths and prepares to let the beast slip it's leash.
(Whenever it's cued he'll shift and start pecking a bugbears face to mush. He'll hold off on making too much noise though to avoid drawing more trouble down on them)
Ooookay that's is my queue to leave. says Vaz, throwing up in his mouth a little.
He makes his way into the Brazier Room, sits cross-legged on one of the benches and watches the pretty green fire. He takes a healthy swig of the quickly dwindling wine.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The drow is extremely weak, stable but in bad condition. He will wake up in 4 hours at 1HP, or you can use healing to wake him earlier. Unless you heal him significantly, any actual physical harm or torture will just put him unconscious again.
We'll start psychologically. Convince him our beast will eat his face while he's still alive. Try to have a bound bugbear corpse screaming. (Rope bindings - magic screams/gurgles/etc with prestidigitation maybe? Vaz (from a distance) could create some mood fire or something and Dekhan could float wings open to help with "judgement"..
Basically trying to create a hellish landscape to scare this captive into telling us everything (who's the spider? What kinds of monsters and guards work for him? Does he know we're hear? Where is he?
Depending on the round, I'd use my own theatrics of disposition and elocution to distract just enough to give advantage on any deception i can (mastermind style). Once everyone has done their part, hopefully that'd give me advantage on intimidation.
Strix slaps the manacles on the drow, once again congratulating himself on the canny purchase. He ties the legs for good measure

Winking at Strix's handiwork and quite useful manacles.
Always good seeing someone else wearing the bracelets for a change.

(inky - can Zhudala tell if the entire party came through the fungus or if they sent a runner back?

She can make a Survival check to see that level of detail.
Survival: 6
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
Incantis' eyes flutter. Looks like they came through the fungus room*, but I can't tell much else.

"Wise beyond yer years, lad. But we could also jest..."
Scupper starts breaking drow fingers.
"Gets em in the mood as well."

I can't treat it the same as melee and choose unconscious as the result? Then he makes the motion of breaking them and says...maybe when he's awake.

I'll cede that to you Dek and Scup, I've not had the best interactions with drow.

So, is Dekhan going to heal?
