Necey stops when Quinn swears out. Looking to the now-barefoot of the elf. "Ouch! That looks like it hurts. Let me have a look at that." She moves over to the elf and takes a look at their foot. "Ew, it's all bubbly and boney. That is definitely not any good." (She'll cast a Cure Wounds 13)
"Hmm... Perhaps one of you can carry me, being the half pint here, and I can make Quinn here be all spidery." She does a quick count of everyone. "Did we lose the big one with all the shields... Padder, I think his name was?"
Quinn backs away, but his feet are now almost skeletal, the slime is definitely ON the feet and not washing away, but consuming flesh, cloth and metal with equal ease. SST and Necey can try to help before Quinn takes another 10 points of damage this round.
Padder on the other hand paddles back up and climbs out of the pit. The big waves this made seem to dissipate in a different pattern at about 10ft along the corridor, so that's probably how wide the pit is. If you wish to jump across then you can do so quite easily as you're already completely wet and slipping or swimming a bit more wouldn't change anything.
Ok, Padder is moving on despite the shrieks of pain that come from behind. The corridor up ahead bends to the left and takes a sharp turn to the right.
Padder - A series of copper-colored metal plates lines the walls of the path before you.
(edit) The healing magic helps regrow the skin and lessen the pain, but does not remove the green slime from Quinns feet unfortunately.
SST takes an axe to Quinns foot... scraping off the slime as best he can. The slime comes off enough to not cause any serious damage any more, but the handaxe is now destroyed. What you learned is where the slime is, that Quinn is now barefeet in the murky water and that SST is down a handaxe. Other than that the corridor curves slightly to the right and seems to split into two different paths after that. (I keep updating the map to reflect what's been discovered)

Padder proceeds down the pathway after his cannonball. Team! I found something! There’s a... lot of metal! He keeps an eye out for traps and enemies, as usual, and Readies to give one a shield smack if an enemy attacks him.
Padder moves forward cautiously and perceives that it's getting a bit warmer as he goes. Then a lot warmer another 10ft forward. Then at 30ft mark into the metal-plated corridor it gets painfully hot.. and one would only assume that it will really start to hurt at 40ft and beyond. The corridor is 70ft long. On the plus side he's getting a proper sauna and some of the armor is now dry.

Yuta wondered what all the squawking was all about, surprised to see Quinn's feet almost skeletal now. Damn, that sucks for him. He figured that the other two could handle it, continuing to go down and seeing that there are two paths. So Yuta decided to check out the path to the left, checking carefully to see if there is anything down that way.
Yuta flies on and checking first left and then right side corridor, both look the same - water still covering the floor and a closed door at the end. Nothing and nobody in either direction.
Update on the positions (there's no point doing mental gymnastics with the map directions - we'll go how it looks in the google sheets. So you came in and headed south, not north):
SST, Quinn and Necey near the sphinx, Yuta on the left hand path ahead of them
Padder on the right hand side warming up in the metal-plated corridor.
Quinn will grimace, kicking off the remains of his leather boots. Thanks to Necey, his feet actually look fine now (that cure wounds brought me back to full hp). He'll hang tight in the center while the others decide which way they are going to go.

Padder proceeds to cannonball back to his position and run to the middle path, looking around in there. My team, there is a giant oven on the left path! I wouldn’t recommend it!
Yuta had not seen much, both of the corridors looking the same as he looked back, realizing that the others are still way behind him. Since it seems that so far nothing much is here, he decided to make his way back to the others in the middle and wondering which is the way that they need to go.
Padder splashes around like a crazy person and runs down the center corridor towards the larger open room. There are stairs rising out of the water on the other side in the corridor that goes out of the chamber!
Padder leaves the path, going to the right one and seeing his team. Are you looking for the way out? I found it. Now, what’s on this side? He kinda sits there for a second, and then pops up. The way out! Onward, my team!
"Wha-?! Way out?" Necey jumps up having finished seeing to the wounds of Quinn. She runs in front of Padder and puts a shoulder into the paladin's armored leg. "Wait! You want to melt your feet off?!"
Who said anything about melting feet? There’s a way out if we had just gone straight. Padder looks confused as the halfling jumps up. Don’t you want to get out?

SST points at Quinn's skeletal feet, quite alarmed, and squawks loudly before trying to scrape the slime off with the edge of a handaxe.
