Wraeven starts a conversation with Ayra. He tells himself that he is doing this for her benefit. That it will take her mind off the dangers that they might face. The truth is that he is trying to put off thinking about what he is going to find at the end of this path.
"So Ayra, How is it that your life has led you to this path in the woods?"
“Well,” she began, “It was a human leatherworker I met not far from the tavern who suggested you would be interesting to talk to. You see, I love to talk with all kinds of people and hear their stories. I did not get to do so often back home in the city of my father.
“Oh, it was not so bad there; my father loves me dearly and I was well taken care of. He always told me that I was destined to one day take his place and that it would be my responsibility to pass on the family’s proud traditions. But my father is so protective, and for years I could only dream of the adventure and excitement that lay outside the walls of the city.”
She tried to catch his eye, expecting her enthusiasm to be mirrored back at her, but noticed instead that his eyes seemed to be glazing over. She realized that she sounded like a spoiled child.
“Anyway, it was only a short time ago that I set out on my own.” She straightened her shoulders and held her head high, “If I am to find my true calling, then I need to see more of the world. And my path seems to have led me here.”
As Ayra looked around her again, she felt a momentarily twinge of uncertainty but quickly shook it off, reminding herself that this was precisely the sort of adventure she had set out to find!
“If it’s your raven queen who is calling, then let us not keep her waiting!”
Also, Alesandair looks over his shoulder and notices the other members of the party removing the bodies from the pathway. He begins to head that way: 1- to assist in the removal of the creatures 2- to inform them of the finding and to ask for their insight on the matter.

As he approaches Lil and Agozur, he will quietly address the issue by saying, "So, Mobya found a basket with an orc, a goblin, and a hobgoblin baby all inside of it between the rocks over there. Being skeptical as to where these creatures came from, I think she is already smitten with the little buggers. Do either of you two know how to raise feral children?"
With Alesandair's help the three are able to clear the large beast to the side of the road careful to avoid the maw of the creature that appears diseased.
The merchant seeing you approach, "Gitin' te it, ay see, meh lat. wil dun. Lit mi go 'n tack a lik at thees cyeetyers dat ya sey dat lady b' findin'."
[you really have to been reading phonetically with this guy...I might be regretting working his accent in hahahaha.]

Letting out an audible sigh before turning to Alesandair"Well if we found them destiny obviously has a reason our paths crossed theirs... we bring them along. I would like to see them."
”We cannot just leave them here, they’ll certainly die or become food to predators. However, what if their parents are around and actively searching for them? Silv’ar maybe a second look in the hole to see if you can spot something or someone might be helpful, but only if you think it’s safe.”
Silv'ar, as you move down the tunnel, you attempt to keep your footsteps soft, but after about 25 ft, you realize you are in complete darkness and aside from the wall of the tunnel and the light behind you as a guiding point, you have no real way of keeping your bearings. You also don't hear anything down the tunnel beyond your own movements.
For the next hundred feet or so the tunnel seems to meander the way water might trickling down from the surface in rivulet form. The walls are not hewn and finished they are more naturally worn smooth with rounded ripples.
You note the tunnel is about 10 feet wide and high enough for most medium-sized creatures to travel fairly easily. As you walk you notice tracks on the floor.
As I wipe the drying blood from my hands on my pants I look to Alesandair "Well we raised some ducks once on the farm.. probably pretty much the same I gots to imagine. You said an orc, a goblin AANNNDD a hobgoblin?!? Sounds like the start of one of uncle Skogs bad jokes. "

@Lil, at first, as you finish cleaning up the mess of bodies littering the small road, you basically connect the dots of nature enough to know that goblins should put food in their faces somehow ;) Then though, you start thinking orcs and hobgoblins are humanoid, and thus, they would probably eat similar things, considering your half orc, you figure the orc is probably a bit more of a meat-eater: You remember an uncle saying it helped put hair on your ears. As you consider the hobgoblin though, you remember in more detail a story during the drought a few years back. A hobgoblin forest urchin boy tried to steal Roth milk for his little sister from your farm, but your family ended up sharing some stew and cheese like good rural folk do, tusks or no tusks.
With Alesandair gone to help move bodies and Silv’ar gone to search the hole, Mobya looks at Morn and says “will you please keep an eye on them for a bit?”
She goes into the adjacent forest and comes back a few minutes later with a bag full of amora berries and places the bag inside the basket. “I’m not sure what they generally eat, but amoras are safe for younglings and these three look very hungry. It’ll keep them occupied and fed until we decide their fate”
The forest is not completely unfamiliar to you, and you manage to songs the berries you were looking for (as opposed to the poisonous alternatives ;)
As you go to feed the berries to the children in the basket papoose, you notice that beneath the littlest is a small rolled up and worn scroll, a hands breadth wide.
The whimpering, hiding tiny calms at the dwarf's soothing voice.

I couldn't see anything in the whole. I'm happy to jump back in and have a look again?

Sil'var nods at Mobya and jumps back in to the whole and begins to stealthly move his way down the tunnel.

The berries are very soft and sweet, the toothless younglings gobble them up!
