"Did anyone suffer any injuries in our earlier battle? Wraeven, how is Lenore faring? Does he need healing?"
[If needed, Ayra can cast song of rest during the short rest, any friendly creatures who can hear her will regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points... I think that might be the worst sentence ever.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sorvas moves over after the party stops for a bit and hears Arya. I did not have any injuries, check yourselves and the younglings. Any wounds should be treated before we take a look into entering battle again. He then gets up to scavenge for food back the way they came (not toward possible enemies)
As Mobya listen for the echoes across the water, she pick up three words barked from the distance "prisoners....tomb....sacrifice...." but it is too great a distance to hear further details.
[hahaha, your sentence is actually 3 in 1, but it is understandable so no worries. Keep in mind Ayra's song of rest would be played for most of the hour of rest.]
Also, just realized I did not get the quote into the reply for you all. Hopefully, they don't feel disjointed.
[ooc: I take it that nobody took damage and intends to use hit dice while we rest to recover HP? (and thus nobody would benefit from song of rest?). I don't think so, but just making sure... and I hope this is not too META]
Assuming that we have all heard the words from across the water (or that Mobya has repeated them to us), Ayra will ask the orbs in a whisper, loud enough for them to hear:
Mobya looks very concerned as she tells the others:
“All I can understand from their sounds are the words prisoners, tomb, and sacrifice. Sacrifice?!? Darn, this type of talk doesn’t sound very encouraging. Are we sure we want to head there?”
Alesandair feels confident he can has remembered the way back to the path they were on. Sorvas while managing a few berries, looks around and senses something familiar about the place but perhaps the rains and the amount of water have made it harder to identify exactly where he is.
As you all take your short rest and ask the orbs questions, Mendon is pulsing and moving about erratically, still staying low the ground, but agitated, he answers,"Yeeesss....Yeessss....llleeetttt uuuusssss hhhaavveee ooouuurrrrr jjjuuusssstttiiiccceee."
As you rest you continue to hear an active camp, but one voice is regularly heard barking orders in staccato fashion.
[You all manage to rest your legs, stretch out, and give some direct eye contact to the snuggle bugs, calming them and sometimes making them giggle. What would you like to do next?]
Sorvas will tell the party, Why don't two of us scout it out, and stay about one minute away from the rest of the party? Not you glowing orb, you will give us away.
(we can roll with advantage wile assisting each other or if nobody wants to, Sorvas will go it alone.)
Wraeven tries to discern the language being spoken and tries to remain out of sight with the others.
((Have we had a short rest since our last encounter with the lights??))
I don't believe so, a long time between posts but we came straight here.

[ok so let's take a short rest then!]

Wraeven to Ayra
"Lenore will return after a short rest, if she is of a mind to do so."
To keep track of landmarks, make a flat intelligence check for Alesandair. It may come in handy. [...if you all make it out of this muahahaha.]

Sorvas, go ahead an make a history check on recognizing the lake.
Sorvas finds a strong oak tree to take cover behind fairly easily about 20 feet from the water as he searches for recognition of any landmarks.

The young orc on Agozur's chest gnaws on the doll looking up at him, balling her clawed hand into a fist.

[You have not yet had a short rest....alas the lost Lenore...]

Also do I find anything looking around for food ect?

Agozur leaning casually against a tree "If we gave our word we would help them we must do so... even if we don't entirely trust them."
Sorvas listens to the conversation once he returns from foraging and takes his post at the tree, he says nothing and remains alert to the lake.
