Jasuri opens his eyes, catches a glimpse of the scene in front of him, and promptly shuts them again. He checks his pockets for his holy symbol, and (if its there) digs it out to cast cure wounds, healing 6 points of damage.
[groggily] "Hello little lizard, dwarf. I think we should get inside soon, ya. I thank you, Gimdor, for pulling me out of that street, from the looks of it you can repair a body as well as you can metal, maybe my services aren't so needed after all. Seems the gods are saving my luck for when I really need it, no? And...did I hit my head worse than I thought, or are you [he gestures to the other guy who got trampled, or at least where he was before jasuri closed his eyes] someone whose company I am as of yet unfamiliar with?"
Trying to remember what exactly the party was hired to discover, Scamper looks as if she is thinking very hard.
We seek something with an F... we think maybe it was called... the Foal's Scourge? We are not sure why this thing is necessary, foals are very tasty if properly prepared and not sure why anyone would want to scourge them.
"The Soulmonger? Here?"He grabs Jasuri's shoulders and shakes him back and forth. "That can't be possible. The Death Curse may have started here, but it can't possibly have anything to do with Chult!"He then appears to make a realization. "Although.......Who was it that sent you on this mission?"
Discouraged by her failure, Scamper looks despondent and keeps quiet for now, though having no notion of personal space, she might be admiring something that Zitembe is wearing if he has anything that looks nice or strange.
Henry gives Scamper a pointed look, and starts counting off his fingers, "Firstly, just because I prefer the company if beings of higher intellect, such as myself, does not make me mean. Secondly, if you want to look at the map, all you have to do is ask, thirdly" he says in an exasperated tone, as if he can't believe some of the party have forgotten already, "The cleric is correct, it is the Soulmonger not the Foals Scourge. And finally we have been sent by Syndra Syldrane."
"Syndra Silvane," He says with a wide-eyed look "If she sent you, I certainly believe your claim. Please, come with me to the Temple of Savras. I may be able to help you find this great source of evil."
(if you guys have not picked it up yet, whilst smart, Henry is not 100% sane)
Henry looks down at the complaining kobold. "My small friend. If even a tiny fraction of what I have heard about the infamous jungles of Chult are true, cultists are the least of our problems." He then turns and smiles at Zitembe, "But you are a good guy aren't you? If not we just won't go with you."
Henry shrugs and follows. Just before he sets off, he turns his head to the group with his signature grin on his face. "Remember. If you want the map all you have to do is ask." as he follows the 'not-a-cultist', he starts whistling a song, which has no concept of a tune.
(Henry and Jasuri) Walking through the streets, you once again are greeted with the fantastic colors of the city. Flowers, green plants, and vines grow everywhere, seeming to spring out of the building's stones themselves. These buildings are richly decorated with paint, ivy, and vivid flowers. Some houses are painted in symmetrical, geometric patterns of straight lines and sharp angles, while others portray animals, monsters, landscapes, and heroes in a stylized manner unique to Chult. When you eventually catch a glimpse of the Temple, it is as beautiful as the city surrounding it. The tiled roof of its great dome resembles an unblinking eye, staring skyward, and it's walls are crafted from magnificently carved wooden planks and beams. As you arrive, Zitembe points you towards the wide oak doors and opens them for you. "Welcome to the great Temple of Savras."
