Silver just blinks as Vassa ropes him in on the mission "I was for doing research first...I don't like dying and not knowing everything can get us killed very fast. I think Phaedra would be the best to send to the temple anyways. They maybe more open to letting her in then..." he just looks at everyone but Phaedra and then down at himself "A bunch of people who look like thief or thugs. Unless we can find a way to convince them we are looking for their help with Trollskull..."

Vassa actually frowns at Silver's reference to looking like a thief or thug, but smiles at the sense of the rogue's suggestion, "Speak for yourself, mate. These threads and this smile have been welcomed in all kinds of establishments, I'll have you know. And I assume that we're going to *talk* to these particular churchies, not climb on their roof or break into their subbasement? Besides, if Gondorians are anything like other god-botherers, they'll love an opportunity to convert a few lost souls like us!
Research does sound good though, but what kind? Raener's going to check around after the burning man and the Stone of Golorr. Where you thinking of doing the same with other... friends of yours, like, ahh.. underground? We might find a book on Gond at Uza's bookshop, I suppose, which could possibly be helpful. Or were you referring to Lady Hornraven as a potential source of info?
Looking over with a grin at Phae, the bard nods and says agreeably, "You should definitely do the talking at the temple, Phae. Assuming that your omniscient and omnipotent being and theirs are on good terms, that is? I've heard that such isn't always the case with deities and their worshippers. Me, i'll be coming along for support, an opportunity to stretch my legs and a burgeoning curiosity regarding an unrelated matter."
[OOC] *Thanks Gambit. Vassa will lead the way to the Temple of Gond for whoever decides to go then.

"Look Vassa, I am happy to lead on this, as I agree I would be best talking to the clergy of Gond. I am sure he is a benevolent god after all. However I am a little over you referring to myself and my fellow sisters and brothers as god bothered. Or botherers, or whatever you come up with at the time. It's not right, It's just not. Like it or not, it is a fact that everything we see has had the gods hand in creation, the earth, the sea, the sky, magic" she raises an eyebrow. "The Time of Troubles rings any bells about how the gods have touched Faerun?"
"And just like great warlords have knights and soldier and men, master thieves have guilds full of up and coming pick-pickets, arch mages have apprentices and prophetic monk masters sit in temples high on cliff faces with legions of disciples, gods and goddess have those who wish to be schooled in there ways."Phaedra pauses so she can take a deep breath.
"So yes, I will talk to the clergy of Gond and do a fine job of it."
Phaedra turns her attention to the other half-drow among them, "Silver your idea was a good one. Renaer said he thought that Dalakhar had taken the stone from the Xanathar. Maybe you could look further into that..." she give him a smile before it turn into a frown as she thinks of something else.
Looking back at Vasa, "And for that matter, I am sure the clergy of Gond are not refereed to as Gondorians. Don't even say it to them. Gondor is not even a thing and even if it was, its got nothing to do with the Temple of Gond"
"You might want to keep in the back of your mind that this Gond puppet may have been trying to stop or interfere with the cloaked figure. Just my 2 cents. We're would you all like me to go?" Elon smiles at Phae's comment about gods. Elon has never been religious but doesn't push it either.
OOC: The House of Inspired Hands is approximately a 20 minute walk from your manor if you take the most direct path. Is anyone planning on making any stops along the way?
Bason will go with the other to the temple. Having found a willing listener, he will hang back and talk to Selinae about brewing. "Now, for a proper Stout, it's all about your grains and how you roast them. You see....." (He will continue to talk about brewing unless stopped)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Silver just eyes Phaedra as she mentions him looking into Xanathar "I can ask around with my contacts, but Xanathar is pretty close knit. Plus I'm sure asking about that directly would draw a lot of attention from them and that's the last thing we want. I'm also going to protest putting my contacts in direct harm, I'm not looking to get anyone unnecessarily killed over a stone if we can't offer them a lot of money or solid protection. Unless your willing to outright kidnap a member of Xanathar for us to question, but then we better ensure the bastard can't chase us downafterwards." he just looks around and sighs as he begins to think of a plan, he honestly had no plan hoping the others might have had better leads then him.
"I think this maybe a good place to split - Vassa and Elon can go and talk to Lady Hornraven, he's attractive enough and she may give into his charm. I can go with you to the Temple of Gond, I can clean myself up and appear as a body guard, same with Bason. It might help add a little more prestige for them being visited by you and could butter them up, especially if we bring a gift." he just hold out two of the gems he got off the body "Do you think this would work as a donation if they weren't just forth coming with information?"
He looks to Kestrell and Selinae "Leaving you two to go and maybe try to get more information from the watch. As a local business affected by the tragedy of the situation that went on near us, we have the right to know about how the city plans to help citizens affected by such an attack. If they won't outright give it to you, I think you can manipulate a new member who might have an attraction to you over some drinks to spill his guts."
He just looks at Phaedra "Does that sound like a fair plan to everyone that doesn't leave just one of us alone and ripe for picking. If truly this was an attack meant for us, I don't think we should split up. I also would take Xanathar off the table for this attack..." his attention turns to the window looking outside, as he thought about what they saw before turning back to the group "it was to sloppy and drew to much attention for it to be them. I don't know what Zhentarim is capable of, but I would hope they would keep guild warfare in the shadows. Also, without knowing who we are I see no reason why either group would stop him from coming to us."

"Ohh well you know best Silver. I think that sounds like a good plan so unless anyone objects, I'll meet you back here in about half an hour."
She sits down then looks back at Silver. "Silver... you will need all of that time to make sure you have a good bath, fresh cloths, maybe something with a bit of leather studs, give the veneer of a bodyguard with skills but not one with to much money, a priestess of my.." she searches for the right words, "well I'm new in Waterdeep so don't have a lot of station in the church here. Yet. Bason you will look fine just how you are."

" Ok, Vhezoar Street Watchpost it is. If I remember correctly the one Mum talked to was Sturmnir, I think....he was in charge. Mum wore her special 'haggling-blouse' for that one...", her voice dropped low and she whispered. "....its really low cut."
"Nothing wrong with that in my book. After you, Serinade!"
Selinae smiled broadly at Kestrells reworking of her name, " Your funny."
She pushed him playfully, her immense strength almost driving him into and through the stone wall of the manors exterior, but she grabbed him at the last moment with an apologetic look.
" Oops."
" Yeah, it seemed to work. Dad was a little bit grumpy about it, but Mum said he appreciates her other assets more anyway......which makes sense I guess."

Kestrell rocks back and forth as Selinae pushed him and then saved him from being driven through the stone wall. And then stutters, a little uncomfortably: "Ah, well, yes. There you have it! Shall we? Oh! Remember to keep your eyes open for Gazers on the way. We can't let Phaedra have all the fun."
