Bason will run around, following Vassa. As they run, he will say "Vassa, tell a group of gawkers that we're going in to help. That will give us good cover as to why we are here." He gestures to some of the people on the street just staring at all the noise. "We could have some of them go get the guards and Barnibus."

D&D is a game, but it's not just a game. It's the ultimate storyboard, a campfire to share with friends, an imaginary call to imaginary arms and a ship to sail to horizons yet undreamt of...
OOC: So I put Sel back to where she saw the trees. I put Kes and Silver with her since the plan was for them to go together. Elon is with them b/c he said he was following. The other three of you are still on Saerdoun St. If that's not right let me know.
Kestrell has made it to the top of the wall. His view is obstructed by the trees (yes, I know it looks like water, I thought it was water at first as well).
[OOC] Vassa was looking for the front gate, so he'd be on Horn Street as well. Not sure if Phae and Bason were following, but thought group two was going over the wall on Saerdoun?
Any sign yet of the fighting that's going on outside the estate?

Selinaes next move is to jump into the trees and move from tree to tree so she can get near the centre of the estate without descending to ground level.
Kes: As you move toward the right you notice you're getting further from the noise of battle. You see what appears to be a grounds keeper and two large mastiff dogs. They all appear to be on high alert and one of the dogs appears to have blood on its mussel. But they haven't seen you yet.
Sel: As you cross the branches to the far side of the tree you see a large balcony enclosed by an iron railing above the mansion’s main entrance (this would be over the tree in front of you on the map below). The balcony is 20 feet above ground level, and scaling the mansion’s brick walls to reach it without the aid of climbing gear or magic requires a successful DC 15 Strength (Athletics) check.
OOC again: This is a fairly large estate (19 numbered areas) and some movement on this one. As you are moving so are some of the enemies. So it's highly likely I may miss something. Don't be afraid to point it out. If I don't reveal part of the map that you think your character should be able to see, point that out as well.

Vassa winks at Phaedra and Bason, then moves to the front gate and tries to look through, shouting out,
"Hello? Open up inside! You can't just attack Assav Ratsnus and friends, and then think a couple of measely gates will keep us from seeking redress! Open up I say!!!"
[OOC] Vassa moves to stand at the left most gate and tries to open it. Starting their agreed upon act of playing the victims of an assault who are seeking the culprit: performance: 16

Selinae lands her awesome swing with perfect form and grace... and then steps on a pile of sticks that had been raked up. Lots of snap, crackle, and pop. You hear a low bark and the sounds of feet running your direction. Kestrell can see from where he's creeping by the trunk of one of the trees that the dogs and their master are heading toward Selinae's position.
Everyone roll initiative. This will last for the entire villa encounter. I'll roll for anyone who hasn't done so in the next 12 hours or whenever I get back online tomorrow.

After Selinae helps Elon onto the wall he watches as she takes off for the trees so he takes out a rope from his pack and climbed down in time to see Selinae land on the the pile of sticks and alert the guards. He quickly tries to duck out of sight to get a jump on whoever comes.

Elon Andrael- High Elf sorcerer- Waterdeep Dragon Heist
Tomac- goliath barbarian- Yet Another Storm Kings Thunder
Casting a slightly concerned look at Bason and Phaedra, and unable to see anything through the heavy solid gates and walls, Vassa grabs the handle of the gate and shakes it with one hand, banging on it noisely with his other fist, all the while continuing to yell to attract the attention of anyone within.
[OOC] Let me know if you need another check (persuasion?) to attract the attention of someone within the compound. For the moment at least, Vassa is trying to follow through with the plan to draw and hold the Gralhund's attention while Kes and the others snoop around inside.

Can we keep trying to climb the wall? If so: Athletics: 23
Hell yeah!
Elon follows Selinae and the others and stops at the bottom of the wall to wait for a rope (he can't climb too well)
