[OOC] Holy hell, those were some great rolls Vassa!
As Vassa snaps his fingers the door it jerks open. When it does, you all hear a bell faintly ringing above you. Then you hear clapping behind you and turn to see Ranaer standing back about 15 feet.
"Well done sir! That was amazing. After you finish looking in there we need to head out. The City Watch has finished up on the inside and they're going to try and secure the area so they want us gone. They're taking both of the Kenku with them. I tried to help the one, but once he admitted that he had been part of the fight Captain Staget wouldn't hear of not arresting the fellow."
...However, as the group reaches the door, the half-drow will wink at Asa as he then spins with three-hundred and sixty degree flourish of his cloak before saying to Kes,'
"Ahh, most impressive, Kes. But... have you ever smooth talked a door open before?"
'At that, the bard will lift his hand toward the shed's door and say with liquid sugar in his voice before *snapping* his fingers,'
"Hey good lookin'. I'd come over there to help take away that board expression of yours, but you look a little hot to... handle!"
Kestrell stands, mouth ajar, as Vassa talked the door into opening.
"Well, would you look at that? Amazing! How did you do it?"
Kestrell starts looking on the ground for a pressure plate or something that would open the door automatically, but is interrupted by the alarms.

'Vassa's elated face fall's momentarily at the mention of the Driggs' arrest, though with a sad shake of his head and perpetually wind-tossed white hair, the bard quickly refocuses on the task at hand. Looking at Kes and the other's, Vassa says to Raener,'
"That is a shame to hear, Raener, but perhaps that particular bird was not meant to walk these streets or muck through sewers at our sides. Let us hope that his wings find warm winds elsewhere.
And as for Staget's move along orders, I wouldn't dream of obstructing an officer of Waterdeep's famed watch. I mean, I might deceive, mock or impersonate one, but obstruct... never!"
'As the dinner bell, so to speak, had already been rung, Vassa walks up to the door with a wink Kestrell's way, whispering to his unseen servant,'
"Just go on ahead of me please... yes, stand right... there."
[OOC] Vassa is positioning his unseen servant right inside the door of the shed and will then walk up to the adjacent spot at the opening to study the room's interior.

"Yes, definitely magic. I've heard of spells that can do similar things. The wires likely conduct arcane power or somesuch.
But just a moment, Kes. I think I see something that needs to... move a few steps to the left. Wait... no, nope, I was wrong. All clear."

As you walk in you see two crates sitting against the far wall. Judging from the dust and cobwebs, it appears they've been here for some time. Looking around you don't see any traps on either of the crates. As the two of you are looking around Renaer pokes his head in,
"Oh goody, another old crate full of shoes. Did you see that inside. A crate full of shoes from two seasons ago, like anyone would buy stuff so out of fashion. Maybe you'll get lucky and these crates will be full of out of style hats." *chuckles to himself*

"Raener, Raener, Raener. Good and noble fellow that you are, you lack imagination. Hats, much like shoes, never go out of style. They merely bide their time until the eternally revolving cycles of fashion once again reorientates like the constellations themselves, ready for those with sufficient poise and taste to make what was old new again.'
'Standing back from the dusty crates, Vassa is going to employ his unseen servant to open the crates, studying the contents in the hope that they really do contain old shoes and hats.'

When you open the first crate you find four objects wrapped in leather. As you pull the leather back you realize they're paintings. The paintings depict the cities of Luskan, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, and Baldur’s Gate. The second crate is the smaller of the two and when the lid is removed you see black bars of some sort. As you look closer you realize it's corroded silver, fifteen corroded 10 pound silver trade bars lay in the crate!
[OOC] The paintings are worth 75 gp each. The silver trade bars worth 50 gp each.
"I think someone is going to come looking for these paintings and tarnished silver bars!"
Kestrell turns to Renaer:
"I'm actually looking for a specific pair of shoes, but they probably would not be in style. Have you heard of the cobbler named "White"? Do you know where I might find him?"

Kestrell turns to Renaer:
"I'm actually looking for a specific pair of shoes, but they probably would not be in style. Have you heard of the cobbler named "White"? Do you know where I might find him?"
Renaer thinks for a moment and then shakes his head, "No, it doesn't ring a bell. But once this is done, I'll ask around for you. Oh, and", pointing at the crates, "the Zhents would probably just think Xanathar took this. They're not very bright, obviously. Otherwise they'd have not mistaken Floon for me."
Renaer thinks for a moment and then shakes his head, "No, it doesn't ring a bell. But once this is done, I'll ask around for you. ...
Kestrell looks at the rest of the group:
"So, what are we going to with all of these paintings and a 150 pounds of silver bars? They are too heavy and awkward to carry with us."
'Vassa hides his dissapointment at not finding shoes and hats well by *whistling* in appreciation of the loot they discovered. Nodding his head at Kes's words, the bard looks and notices Locky's large form standing back outside, looking somewhat bored as he runs one metal thumb along the edge of his mighty axe. Vassa says,'
"The bars we could split and probably carry between the rest of us, and while the paintings might be too heavy and large for you or I, I doubt they'd cause Locky much difficulty."
'Wondering about the incrediblly intricate 'alert' system used to protect this one room in particular, Vassa also wonders if there might not be more that they have not yet uncovered, and says,'
"Hey, Kes. Help Airus move those crates and cobwebs, will you please? I wonder if these dodgy Zhentlemen or Xastafarians may have hidden yet other treasures in this room."
[OOC] I rolled an investigation of 18 earlier to search the room's interior, but will help Kes search the room for hidden compartments, doors or passasges if he is willing to do so.
