Vassa will smile at Lif's response and continue to have Airus assist the ghostly innkeep in his cleaning efforts. The bemused musician will play a relaxing tune on his flute for a little while as the spectral tidy-up continues, but seeing that Kes and Elon have first watch covered, Vassa soon tires, wishes everyone good night and goes up to bed in the converted den.

As the moon journeys across the sky, the temperature drops a bit reminding all the fall is only one step from winter. The party trades off on watch and everyone is able to get a good nights rest. Lif spends the evening tidying up the area around the bar itself. All in all, it is a quiet night and a lovely morning when all awake to face the new day. The crews from the various guilds arrive bright and early, including Flaps and his mates and soon the manor is full of the noises of construction.
Feeling quite refreshed, Kestrell pops up and brews a batch of Ranger Coffee, nibbling on leftover delicacies from the basket. He greets the rising party members with a nod or a "Good Morning."
Once everyone has woken up and had a bite and a brew, Kestrell asks "Alright, so what do we do from now until the ambush tonight?"
"Morning, Kes. I'll grab a mug of that if you don't mind. Smells great.
Well, as I'm going to be the bait in our little subterfuge tonight, I was planning on contacting the owner of a bar I know near the docks. Might as well line up a gig for tonight and get paid while I'm risking my neck. Considering some of our more dangerous recent escapades, I'll be looking to purchase some more hardy armour soon, but despite now being a business owner, I still find myself a little light on coin.
The next time we help out a powerful guild, let's ask for some coin as well, eh? Pastries and working plumbing are great, but it's coin that makes the world go round, or so my dear old nan used to say."

Elon rises from his trance feeling refreshed and takes a cup of coffee.
"Good morning everyone. I see work on the manor is coming along nicely." Elon slowly sips his drink. "We should be able to resolve this mystery quickly and move on but admittingly I grow weary of all the groups and guilds fighting each other."

Bason had followed the others quietly back to the Manor. He half heartedly grabs a bear claw and goes to the basement to where his still and bed is set up. He mumbles to himself as he gets ready for bed. "I can't believe I forgot to grab some ingredients while I was in the bakers guild. That was such a waste."
He wakes the next morning, refreshed. He goes up to great the others. "Morning all! What's on the menu for today? More mayhem and destruction? I will need to report back to the Brewers Guild at some point in the day, make sure they understand I was working as a individual yesterday, not as a representative as the Guild. They specifically told me I'm not supposed to get into trouble while on Guild business.....again."
Vassa nods at all his companions stated plans, seeing the logic in meeting up later at a dockside tavern to hopefully enact their trap, and after thinking it through says, "I don't think Savra will come to us, Kes. She's made the first move with this invite, so the ball's in our court now. Maybe we go see her after we've taken care of this serial killer business?
Well, I'm happy for a little company on my wanderings today, so I'll accompany you Bason if that's okay. I've got a few questions about the alcohol business that you or your guild could probably answer for me. Then later on we can meet Phaedra and the others at a dockside bar to put our ruse into practice."

Vassa spent the morning quizzing Bason and any of the dwarf's guildmates he may have met on rare and valued alcohols in Waterdeep and beyond, specifically libations brewed from subteranean ingredients. After that, Vassa will go to the dockside tavern and attempt to persuade the proprietor into letting the half-drow perform there tonight.
"...So you see, good tavernkeep, that allowing me the use of your stage to entertain your customers tonight, all for the paltry cost of a few meals and refreshments for my friends and I, really is in all likelihood the best deal that you've been offered this tenday! What say you?"
