Tockfollows Dog and Gash, but leaves instructions at Bounty that if people come looking for them then to keep waiting and/or take a room. They will be back through here either in the evening or in the morning just to check.
"Amulet magically attached; will require magical removal. Personal capacity for magical removal: Zero. If you can not do so, then I recommend the fetching of one of a more magically inclined persuasion. Secondary recommendation: Check on current emotional and physical state of Neventi."
(I can't tell what your first destination you have. The Wheat and Mane or a stables?)
Martin:
Viviora and Axonia bid Martin farewell. Axonia seems to relax as they depart, Viviora patting her hand. He hears her saying faintly, "No rules were broken, Lady Axonia."
Althus and Bulwark:
Neventi holds her hand to her head. "Where were we? About to leave, yes?"
The woman staggers a bit as she stands up, but rights herself and then picks up a now quiet Gentoa. "Where are the horses?"
Friend tells Gash that he left a note with Althus and tracked Martin down about a mile south of the city. He and the women were preparing to walk back when Friend left.
"Let's all go to Nev's inn, because if they've left already we'll Bulwark and Martin on the way, and if they're still there, we'll find them. We can try to have Friend try to track down Martin on the way. Gather at Nev's inn hopefully all together, and we'll tell her we've had trouble getting horses but we're going right this second to a place we just found out should have them. From what I understand, Ol' Whistle is on the way to the assassin, so we could stop on the way there or the way back. Work? Maybe we should hire someone whose entire job is minding the horses and buying more should we teleport away from them on the side of the road. We're very bad at horses."
"Good thinking. Lets head out. I'll send friend with another note for Martin" Gash writes Meet us at Wheat and Mane then give it to Friend and sends him to find Martin.

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
(I left my post half finished on my computer. I will update this space later with it. Everyone is together at the Wheat and Mane now. Feel free to fill each other in now. Neventi isn't looking good and Gentoa is just snuggling quietly with her mother.)
Martin and Friend spy each other as Friend makes lazy loops over the Market District. Friend doesn't even need to lead him back to Gash and the rest, however, because Martin sees them walking through the square shortly after. Before long, they are back outside the Wheat and Mane where Althus and Bulwark stand over Neventi. Gentoa is awake and sitting snug in her mother's lap, her eyes red from recent crying. Neventi's eyes are closed and she is massaging her forehead. She is pale and breathing shallowly. She does not even acknowledge the four adventurers approaching.
"Nev, are you alright my dear? You look completely dreadful. Do you want us to take Genny for a bit so you can lie down? I have the FeyTok toy."He pulls the tiny FeyTok out and gives it to Genny. "Its alright little one, we are all together now."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Dog pulls Bulwark and Althus aside and asks what happened and how long Nev has been like this. He tries to assure Nev that they are there, they can handle things, and they will have horses, provisions, and a cart by the morning and can get going, but that she looks like she needs rest.
He also asks Gash, out of earshot, how the scroll will work - if Gash has it in his spell book and if we can find out in more detail how the cursed item might be broken.
Althus says to Dog, ”I tried to ask Neventi about her amulet, but she freaked out when I mentioned magic. When I asked her about magic, she tried to respond but was knocked unconscious by a magical force. I healed her, but no doubt she is still shaken.”
"So you didn't touch her, or the amulet, and were just TALKING about it, and she got upset?" Dog replies. "And then you were just talking more about magic, and something knocked her unconscious? Does it seem like the force came from the amulet? Thank you for healing her! What do you think is going on?"
Dog tries to give a brief synopsis of what happened at Axonia's inn, and then what they learned from the papers they stole from Axonia's room (OOC: feel free to read through our spoiler posts like this and this!): the actual heist went terribly wrong and they barely got out of there but they did get into the room, took a draft of the accords and some letters from Ritter who was spying on the negotiations, and essentially they learned that the Hells started playing hardball before the accords went into effect, deciding to try to warp Neventi's mind to get her to pick the Hells' favored steward for Genny, this warlock Aucasia. The Heavens could have negotiated better, but they did basically get both the Heavens and Hells out of the picture for the next year/whenever the Steward is chosen. King Haddian, the guy who runs the kingdom at the end of the long road, is who the Heavens want. Neither the heavens or hells know about the third option, the cloud giant Marduk. The protectors are talked about in the accords, but they are not specified.
The big goliath bends down in front of Genny and pulls a blanket over to her, trying to give her something to nestle into. "We're going to make sure your mama is safe and sound and back to how she was, little one. You are being so brave. So much braver than me. Can you try to get some sleep?" He tries to ruffle her hair. Is Nev sleeping? Unconscious? Can we try to make her comfortable and healthy?
To the whole group, out of earshot of Nev, Dog says, "I don't think we can leave her alone. One of us should be with the two of them at all times. I'm happy to do it or someone else can. Fortunately the Hells can't interfere with her any further but we don't know what else that amulet can do. Maybe someone's using it to listen to us now. Anyhow, we wanted to take care of the person that Martin's sources found tonight, before we leave. We also need to get some horses and provisions and a cart. There's a stable between here and our destination that's apparently open late. Anything else we should catch up on? Who wants to go take out an assassin and get some horses? We should also talk about how exactly we might get the amulet off tomorrow once Gash has his spell ready. We don't want her to fall unconscious again like this, but it might be good to try casting it when she's asleep so she doesn't even know the spell's happening. If it works, great, we can regroup. If it doesn't, we'll probably have to heal her again, and figure out what we're going to do on the way. I worry the amulet might knock her out if we don't get moving first thing tomorrow."
He lets out a big sigh.
"Anyone else exhausted? Masa I'm sure is a fun town but we've been going without a stop ever since we teleported from that archdruid fight at the gnome family farmstead.
“A break? No, we have an assassin to go after. Time for a break later, friend. Unless you’d like to stay here with the woman and girl while we go?” Martin is anxious to keep moving along.
