Fjolnir pivots on his heel and concentrates on the stirges, whistling two arrows toward them, "'I may be still picking bits ah yer arrogant hind out of mah teeth when we next meet, lizard!"
Fjolnir starts cutting along the scutes to harvest useful dragonhide. "Too right- though at this rate we oughta make a livin off selling dragon jerky, and free stew for as many orphans as Neverwinter can serve up."

Az Emberi: You do not know a way to stop the raising of the dead. Having no knowledge of how the magic works in the first place, you cannot hope to understand how to stop it. You do, however, extract 20 teeth, 5 claws, and 10 good-sized scales.
Fjolnir: You do not gather as much hide as the last time you killed this foe, about 45 pounds this time.
I added all the newly scavenged bits to the party loot.
Hymir:
You haven't heard that Nezznar escaped yet. You will, perhaps by the end of the day or the next day, but it's only been a few hours after the party found Sildar knocked out and Gundren has not yet returned to the mine. He will soon, so that being said, at the point in time when you do actually send this message to Nezznar, he does not respond. Within the first day or two of studying in the mine, the Flameskull returns to its post. you will have your hands full for a while learning the ritual and gathering the materials required to "reset" him so that he doesn't see the new owners of the mine as enemies. You can feel free to pop in from time to time and cast sending, but be aware of how busy Hymir is and how slow the time passes in the thread.
After the Flameskull is rebound to the bellows chamber, Hymir's next goal was summoning the Gazer (or whatever that thing is called, the mini-beholder) and then re-igniting the forge of spells to its former glory. This is month's worth of work, but Gundren will have crews for the physical restoration of the mine and its equipment while you're doing that bit.
Bottom line: It'll be a while before this place turns a profit, and it'll consume most of Hymir's time doing so.

I attempt to smash the skull into as many tiny pieces and scatter them, throwing in every minute angle. Attack with spiderstaff Attack: 21 Damage: 3 Attack: 22 Damage: 5 Attack: 14 Damage: 3
Absinthe helps sever the head of Venomfang again. Then he cuts a hole between Venomfangs hind legs just before the tail and stuffs the neck up the newly created ass hole.
Dirk just can't seem to put more than a small dent in the skull. While he's beating on it, Absinthe severs it from the neck by sawing through with his shortsword, then attempts to place the dead dragon's neck up its new hole... but the creature is too large to make ends meet.
What now?

Fjolnir fills an empty bottle with blood from the dragon carcass, and hops up into the cart to keep butchering down the slabs into manageable strips. "Dragon steaks for dinner when we make camp tonight, and some jerky could make for good meal for a day or two."
After burying the skull, you continue to Neverwinter. With the unexpected attack from the returned Venomfang over with, you do feel relatively more safe than before, even if you were unaware of the danger you were in previously.
Az Emberi receives another message in his head, this time not from Hymir:
"I see you left your wizard behind. Pity. It'll be more difficult to watch you all in different places."
(This is another Sending spell, and you are able to reply to Master Starlight if you wish.)

Pending whatever Az Emberi does with that information, your night is uneventful besides a celebratory feast on dragon meat. You fill your bellies, even though the meat is a bit tough, and start drying some out for jerky to last longer.
Everyone can add 2 days worth of rations each to their inventories.
Your second day is less cloudy than your first. At this rate, you expect to make it to Neverwinter before nightfall of the third day.

I knew he was a traitor. I'm coming after both of you. By the way we killed your pet again.
After the long rest.
"We need to get a message to Hymir, the wizatd is spying on him."
I spend 10 minutes to cast animal messenger. I send a bird preferably a hawk or bird of prey of sone type with this message. "We need to talk you son of a *****."
A couple of days after you and the party split, and the day after your Sending conversation with Az, you are visited by an unladen swallow while researching binding rituals. It opens its mouth and Az Emberi's voice emits from it, "We need to talk you son of a *****."
You are a bit taken aback by the intensity of his voice and the accusatory nature of the statement.
(This happens before the Flameskull has returned to the mine, but probably after you are aware of Nezznar's escape and sent a message to him. Had I known there was still so much involvement with you in this thread, I wouldn't have told you so much of what was going to happen lol.)

Your day continues and at some point in the late afternoon or early evening, Az Emberi points out a large squad of hobgoblins approaching the road from the East, out of the Neverwinter Wood. They're too far away to see actual numbers, but they seem to be on an interception course with you. What are you doing?

Venomfang Dead. Recieved message Starlight. He's spying on you with spider. Made him believe I think you're a traitor. Feign Hostility.
Looking at the Hobgoblins. I ask the group. "Emissaries from our friends at Cragmaw or enemies?" pauses. "Or both"?
