”Virtoris the Blue, Capn’. Me father told me to find ye, that you would need me services. Thank ye for giving me a chance, most assured you shall be.” Virt say to the captain and his right and left hands, then he asks quietly, “Capn’, what is is me wages fer me services and skill?”
'The young Captain offers his hand in friendly greeting across the table... which the First Mate and Bosun both frown at dissaprovingly, but Aundrey continues,'
"Why it's the same as for all the officers aboard, except for myself and my two Senior Officers, the good First Mate and Bosun here. I had to ask an old friend of my father's about the Ship's Mage role, since I'm not too familiar with the whole magic thing, but Ship's Mage is a full fledged officer of the ship... though the duties are somewhat unique. We will, of course, hold an officers meeting tomorrow afternoon to iron out such things, but rest assured that your role is a crucial one... again, from what i've been told, err, that is."
'First Mate E'strue smiles and whispers something in the Captain's ear, prompting him to continue,'
"Oh yes, of course, your wages. You and most of other officers will recieve four gold pieces a day, so one hundred and twenty gold a month, to be paid by my two senior officers here upon the first day of the proceeding month or in appropriate and agreed installment upon making landfall."
“Thank you, all me questions ha’e been answered.” An with that, Virt signs his name on the scrip and nods his head to his now senior officers. He decides that maybe he should get to know his fellow crew members and walks over to the smaller blue fellow as someone starts a commotion with him.
After watching it all play out irl knew what he had to do. This was his crew now, he would have their backs and make sure they arrive to the Shore Shark safely tomorrow.
”If it walks like a pirate, then he fall like one.” Virt stands behind the blue man and says, “Not how I planned our introduction, but alas, looks like we can do well to watch each other’s backs now.”

Serandis Mendaen (Aereni Elven Rogue/maybe one day Wizard)- Project Point Playtest
'As the fight goes down, Kestrell sighs in dissapointment at the thugs his friend Nubrel was hanging out with. His sigh of disapointemnt turns to concern as blades are drawn and the blood starts flowing. And then disgust as three of them seam to team against a young lass he hadn't noticed before. 'Where did she come from?' He thinks.'
'Kestrell targets the largest one attacking the young woman with Tasha's Hideous Laughter':
"You there, you just had to prove your brutishness. I hope this works on you, but I have my doubts, because you have to some intelligence for it to take effect!"
[OOC] The thug must make a wisdom saving throw of 14 or better, if not he falls prone. At the end of each turn, he gets to make another saving throw, or each time he takes damage, he gets to make another with advantage.
'Kestrell shouts': "If this works, let him lie on the floor in laughter. The spell may be broken if you hit him."
'Kay feels a little sick to her stomach. She's fought people before, injured them, some pretty badly. But she looks down for a beat at the man she's just murdered and she's not sure how to feel. Her thoughts are fleeting, and she's pulled away from them as two more attackers swing at her and she skillfully evades their strikes. She frowns and her eyes are filled with pity.'
[ooc:] I'm posting this now because I'm not sure I'll be able to get back to it for another 8 hours and don't want to hold up anything. As before I'll roll first and then update my description further.
Kay will attack any of her attackers who are still up, avoiding the one rolling on the floor if he fails his check. She'll try to subdue them, striking with the flat or hilt of her shortswords.
action - attack : 11 damage: 5
bonus action - attack : 10 damage: 4
'Kay's hesitation is readily apparent, and it's clear that she's not as comfortable dealing non-lethal damage with her blades. Anyone watching might be able to discern that she's holding back, but the threat of her blades feels all too real for those engaged in the melee.'
~♡~
'The brawny man who had just risen from the floor and moved to strike out at Kay looks at the injured companion at his side blankly, then over at Kestrell with a puzzled look upon his blunt, almost block-like features. The look of puzzlement inexplicably turns into a smile, then that smile turns into a near-rictus grin, before the man flops to the ground for a second time, this time thrashing about on the wooden floor boards in the throes of uncontrolled, hysterical laughter. His injured friend's eyes go even wider at the quite terrifying sight, while the huge man attempting to brain A'ro with his club curses, callling out over the din of battle,'

'The nimble young woman with blood soaked blades in hand sees one of the two men facing her collapse to the ground in hysterical laughter. The puzzlement over this strange turn of events causes her to lose focus for a moment, and both of her strikes at her already injured foe go wide as she slips momentarily on the growing puddle of blood that is flowing from the butchered Gaut,'
[OOC] Virtoris is up next, then Kestrell, then Vaken (who I will act for unless WebGambit returns).

Seeing A’ro get injured 🤕 by one who said “they hate magic”, Virt lines up his hands and points them at the thug that hurt his new shipmate.
“BURN BRIGHT!” Virtoris the Blue yells as a Fire Bolt escapes his hands.
18 if it hits, 9
”Steady yer hands, girl. Ye can do this.” He says loudly to the woman missing her targets. This roughs should be easy to take down if they all kept a steady hand and a cool head.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

'A bolt of flame is hurled across the room, slamming into the unprotected chest and neck of the aggressive thug who is looming over A'ro. The man gives an involuntary scream of pain as the fire singes his clothes and hair, burning the exposed skin a bright pink colour. If looks could kill, the one he casts in Virtoris's direction would have left the artificer a stone cold corpse,'
"God DAMN it! When I'm finished with this blue magic using freak, you're next... you blue magic using FREAK!"
