Mitsi is behind the same desk when you return to the Order of Thalassa, which is still filled with scribes and acolytes hard at work.
"Right on schedule," she mutters, frowning beneath the spectacles that make her eyes seem twice as large as a human's should be. "We have heard no news of the Ice Basilisk since you left. How did they do, Oli?"
Oli bows, then sweeps his arm toward the party. "It's all here in my notes, but I'm not entirely certain what happened myself, but they were able to eliminate the magic radiating from the statue while negotiating past three separate interested parties peacefully. I am...thoroughly impressed. I will let them fill you in on the details," he says.

She points to a tabaxi woman standing off to the side of the room, sitting in wait. Mitsi explains, "She came here not an hour before you all. Had a similar sob story, I told her you were due back any time now. And can you please tell your friend to knock it off? His eyes are creeping me out."

Before:
Aisha had been exploring an area along the Lake of Dragons, in Cormyr, A few dozen miles north of the Giant's Run Mountains, having just traded her old armor for a new set, and wanting to break it in. She had just finished gathering the coal, and chalk necessary to 'paint' the armor properly, making it flow with the pattern of her stripes. She had just uncovered the location of some ruin, buried inside a cave, having made her way through the mostly barren location. Corpses of freshly slain adventurers and explorers, as well as the creatures that had beaten them lay strewn about. She had managed to sneak around the guardian with help from her friend, distracting the Ooze, and leading it away .... Just as she had been about to grab the book upon the pedestal, with who knew what ancient mysteries, knowledge, power, or technology lost to time.. Her fingers had caressed the cover, when suddenly she blacked out... Only to wake up in some strange place, filled with several people not far off, and many more questions than answers. Eventually leading her to Order of Thalassa, a 'guild' seeming the proper place to learn anything, even for someone not as gifted with thought as others.
Aisha had made her way in and had begun asking questions, telling of what had occurred just prior to her appearance here in this realm.
Present:
Aisha's right ear folds back, shuffling her silken, black hair just a bit, as those moonlit strands covered her visage. Parting just enough to reveal the most pure, striking, emerald colored iris staring through those silky locks at Misti for the briefest of moments. Silvery brow raised, a bit of annoyance displayed at her being, a soft, feminine growl emanating, before letting it go.
The female was tiny. She could barely at full height stand at the five foot mark. Her back was an intricate display of ingenuity with minimality. Her backpack had been altered to sit around her quivers. Both quivers sitting the same direction, leading to her right hand, both filled like a porcupine with fine missiles. On each side, strapped to the pack itself, and wrapped around her waist, were two small sacks, one on each side, holding what appeared to be supplies, and tools. She looked prepared for an extended trip. Finally turning to the group that had just entered, having more or less heard what they had been saying as she passively listened to it. Once facing the group, they would see that her hair had a single, wavy bang that went over one eye, leaving only her left eye exposed, as she sizes the group up. A smirk dancing across her lips at some more than others, playful, enticing.
Her armor was nearly invisible against her stark, white fur, interlaced with a Rorschach-esque black, striped pattern, If not for the bolts and seams, she would almost appear naked. The armor only covering her chest, hips, and some of her legs. Leaving most of her slim and lightly toned abdomen and button exposed. Her back was much the same, sinuous, smooth and covered in charcoal stripes. Her bust, was average, but the armor seemed to be made to enhance the curves, and emphasize the areas they were meant to cover. But the armor also looked easy to move in, light, and overall un-hindering. A faint inclination of a full-hood could be seen within the seam.
Just over the pack itself, her bow was hung against it in such a way it was easy to draw, though the bow looked almost too large for her tiny feminine frame. Her tail behind her moving slowly, deliberately. From behind her, a panther, with sleek, jet-black fur walked around the Tabaxi defensively, it too looked over the group that had just entered. It was almost as large as she was. The Tabaxi's hand gently stroking from just behind it's ears, down it's neck, and across it's back. It didn't move to threaten anyone, but it was clear it was protective of its mistress.
Finally speaking, her voice held a heavy accent, emphasizing her 'R's in lilting rolling speech, sounding as sweet on the ears as pure elvish if common could ever sound so elegant. Aisha hopes your journeys found you safe, yes? As you.. somehow already knew, this one's name is Aisha. Aisha Snowytail. Formerly of Abeir Toril, recently of Normal Toril~ It seems purrhaps that my questions may better find their mark with you all, yes? This one has a general Idea of why Aisha has found herself here, but alas, Aisha will ask you all. Just to make sure she understands. For Aisha's sake, tell this one why you have all been brought here, and why Aisha has as well. If your story corroborates what Aisha has already been told, she feels she will have a furrmer grasp upon the situation. This one may not be the smartest kitten in the litter.. that honor belongs to Aisha's sister.. wherever she is now... a flash of sadness crosses her face, before she sighs, and continues But Aisha has found her own methods around this. But it seems Aisha is to assist you in some great endeavor? Somehtign she can learn from, somehting she can use to make her tribe stronger, yes? Enough to appease the Catlo...
As if suddenly realizing something, she apologizes and puts a hand up, attempting to reach out... Calling for her races patron deity.. Attempting to see if she could still feel the Catlord in any degree....
After which, regardless of the outcome, she would allow the others there to speak, and she would listen, and learn. Though if the connection to her races patron was intangible, and unteneble, hr face would appear downcast, like someone who had just lost something important.
Harmony had heard Misti ask how Oli did as he told her and also let them fill in the details as she nodded. "Yeah, we got rid of the ice magic around the Ice Basilisk and kept the other groups from getting to it. Then under the statue, we found books about Varokaj. We also had a vision of the world ending if we don't quickly get to the red moon to stop the red lizard-people. We also found out why we're here, to be heroes and save this world from the bad deities!" she had said back as Oli told her about the books and them learning of troubling information of Vandyr. Misti then spoke about how they can find information about travel between planes in their collection here, specializing in conjuration and having a library on teleportation too. They would need to go to a temple for theology as Gabrielle, Tylyn, and Hnaska all have temples here in Ruskivek. After Olive asked about Aisha, she was surprised and glad to hear that she is here, seeing the tabaxi woman and hearing that she had a similar situation, remembering that she is one of the chosen ones. "Hello!" Harmony greeted her with a big smile before looking over at Jove. "Jove, stop that please." she told Jove as she gently shook his shoulder. Then she saw the tabaxi looking over them, now noticing the black panther with her too as she immediately grinned and cooed at it. "Aw, how cute. That's one big kitty." Harmony exclaimed happily, wanting to pet it so badly. She listened to the woman, Aisha introduce herself and question why they all have been brought here, if she is supposed to assist in some endeavor that she could use to make her tribe stronger. "I'm Harmony, it's very nice to meet you Aisha. What is your panther's name? We are all here because we have to stop the bad deities who broke the oath from ending this world and potentially ours too! You along with Olive, Isabella, Jove were all chosen by the good deities while me and Abraxas got brought along by accident due to being friends with Jove. I don't know about making your tribe stronger but if we succeed, we'll be going back home to Toril as saviors of this world though." she then told Aisha with a smile, explaining everything as best as she could from what she remembers.
Jove shakes his head and holds his temple. "Sorry. It's uh. It's a condition."
He turns to Aisha. "Nice to meet you Aisha. We have a lot to discuss." Then Misti. "I believe there may be some gold for us? And, if you don't mind, is there a private room where we could go and study? We have been traveling for quite a while. It would be nice to sit and rest our butts."
Olive had seen plenty of large cats before, having been raised to live in the forest, but she had never seen one that could speak and walk on two legs before. But she had seen a lot of things that she had never seen before since she arrived in this world, so it wasn't that much of a surprise. "Hi, I'm Olive. One of the gods of this world appeared to my friends in a dream and told them that we'd meet you."

The connection to your deity has not grown weaker, still bestowing magic upon you as it did on Toril.
"It's Mitsi," Mitsi corrects. "And give me a moment. I'd like to speak privately with my acolyte."
Oli bows respectfully. He turns to you and pats the air with his hands, suggesting patience, and follows Mitsi to the back of the Order, leaving you with some time to yourselves and your new companion.

(OOC- Ah, I read it as 'Misty' as well. Apparently it's "Mitt-see")
A sigh of relief escapes Aisha, still feeling the presence of her deity, which had been lost on Abeir-Toril when her kind was still trapped in that nightmarish realm. That seems to take a massive weight off her shoulders, and she stand just a little taller, a little happier. With a few whispered Elvish words at her panther Auta a' i' edainme. Aisha uma il- tyava re naa y' danger. Eller naa n'nir threats ten' lye nostale yassene i' walls en' y' tal. Uma il- cronha he`. Re wishes a' touch
For those who speak Elvish
Go to the woman. Aisha does not feel she is a danger. There are few threats for our kind within the walls of a city. Do not attack her. She wishes to touch.
The panther cautiously strides forward on agile, tense muscle. Sniffing out at Harmony's hand initially, before laying it's backside down to the floor, keepign it's head more upward. Looking at the new person with mild interest.
Her name is T'savi~ She will not bite, unless I tell her to. Also, from what Aisha is hearing is this one to understand that some diety Aisha has never before of, heard, plucked Aisha from her true homeworld, just years after she had found herself upon returning to it. Essentially... to uh... -she says, trying to find a way to tactfully put this, her left hand twirling in the air to emphasize it - Essentially, they grabbed some champions from another world, for whatever reason, stealing them from their homes or journeys, or duties etceterrra, to fight other deities, on their behalf, in order to save whatever world, dimension, or realm this is.. speaking of.. no one has yet told me where we are... But back to focus... Aisha would not be so frustrated, if they had atleast asked first... I was right on the cusp of grabbing the treasure of a tomb, with who knows what knowledge to be rediscovered... before I was whisked away to 'here.' Now anyone lucky enough to come across the area will get to waltz right to my prize.... I mean not to sound disgrantled? Gruntled? I believe you know what this one is tryign to say, but...
My people have only so recently rrrejoined the world of Torrril, after many centuries trapped in it's mirror, bringign back knowledge to our respective trribes is fundemental to our continued existence. If they had asked.. or purrhaps waited another few moments for me to have grabbed the book.... I would not be so upset.
With a deep sigh, she continues Ah well, it is not the Tabaxi way to hold onto a grrudge. I will forgive this deity, so long as this journey proves fruitful, and the endeavor provides knowledge for me to take back. Whether it is an artifact, ancient lorrrem, a powerful weapon, or some long lost technology or secret, this one will be satisfied.
Finally, Aisha slides up to Jove, Nonchalantly pressing herself to him. Lockign her one eye, with one of his, though their was likely a height discrepancy. Placing a hand on his hip And yes, Gold... That s always helpful. But yes, Let us rrrest ourr .. as you say... 'Butts'Aisha smirks at Jove, keeping her eyes locked to his, even as her hand stealthily approaches his coinpurse... Deciding to play a capricious, but playful prank. (Sleight of hand: 7)
If successful or uncontested, she will remove a single gold piece from it, sliding her clawed hand up by his ear, and pulling it in front of his face. Winking as she says You dropped this~ before giving it back to him.
Regardless, she would then say So, lead the way handsome, Aisha would liek to know more about this 'duty' as right now she knows so very little~ (Flirtation: 4)
((OOC - Just to be clear, No I won'tbe stealing from any of you, but she is Capricious, and Flirty by nature, and I feel this is a good way to get her personality to the forefront. Though it doesn't mean she won't do that to others~ Also I think the DM just gave us free-reign to chat with each-other))
Jove isn't good with forwardness like this. He is used to being the one doing the trickery, and doesn't take kindly to it. Not in a rude way. More of a "I am surprised and don't know how to act in this situation" way.
He snatches the gold piece and takes a few steps back. "Mhmm. Yes. Well. I hope there will be enough gold for the whole lot. We might think about sharing since we have to work together."
He speaks telepathically with Aisha.
"Excuse the intrusion, but it seems you don't mind personal space. ou mention you are from Abeir? You may have some knowledge about what is happening to all of us. How we were all plucked. The sundering on our homeworld ripped it apart. I am afraid that might happen here soon. And I might have a plan. But there needs to be research done first."
Out of telepathy now. "Aisha, does your, gulp, friend here play nice with other uhm, companions?" He hugs Caiphon a bit tighter in his jacket.
Aisha's smile widens at your reaction, thinking to herself This one may be fun to dangle the cat-tail and swish.... her smile revealing her own fangs, similar to that of what you'd expect to see on her pantherine friend, though admittedly smaller. But still, far more pronounced than any other humanoid (except maybe an orcs..) before licking her lips. MMmnyess. Gold.. Knowledge, important things, yes? Enough to share for us all. That is an acceptable desirre. Aisha's eyes lock to the mans when he begins speaking to her mentally, not quite sure how he accomplished it, a flit of intrigue and confusion wash over her face as she 'listens.'
Tapping her chin as Jove 'speaks.' and finally letting out a soft, plaintive sigh, shaking her head in the negative but not understanding(OOC - she has an intelligence of 8~) exactly how the 'mind speak' works, speaks aloud her response. Aisha will have to apologize. She is, indeed frrom Abeir, Torils Mirror world, but the details of how her world was re-destributed upon to Torils soils once morre.... is a mystery. How we ended up there? There was a great event that happened, many many many years ago. Aisha is not sure if it is even remembered. But the spellplague is what sent us there. Let us hope that it does not require an equally cat-astrophic event to return us, mm? she finishes, with a literal purr accentuating her words.
Shrugging then, saying Sorry this one could not be of more help. But to be fair, if she knew such things, she would not be trrapped here inf the first place, yes? As she turns around, her left hand trails, palm side up with her index finger along the mans chest, letting the soft, silken fur of her fingertip, that hid her own claws beneath reached his neck, and trailed to the tip of his chin, before pulling off. Her tail following suit across his cheek, patting it softly before her form finally ceased it's silken assault on the lad.
So tell Aisha. What have you all done so far? Aisha overheard something about an ice bay-silisk, Some magical aura... and talking your way past severrral peoples. is there more, or is that more or less it? Can you tell this kitten more abotu these 'bad dieties' and those 'who summoned Aisha' and some of you here as well. Everything is important. This kitten may not be the smartest, but she has an amazing memory. After that, Purrhaps you can tell me of anything else you've heard? Any places of interest, that may lead us to our goal, or purrhaps any places that involve it or may know where to go frrom here? This one overheard somethign about teleportation, and thelology? And yes, unless you attempt to take advantage of an unconscious kitten or threaten this one, she knows how to play nice. She may even lick you if you pet her right she said, leaving it up in the air whether she meant herself, or her panther.
Harmony watched as the panther came up, sniffing her hand before laying down on it's back on the floor and looking up at her. "Aw!" she cooed as she heard Aisha say that T'savi is the panther's name and how she won't bite unless she tells her to. "You're a good girl, huh T'savi? Do you like being petted or scratched like this?" Harmony said in a cutesy voice as she bent down and was scratching behind Tsavi's ear and under her chin. If Tsavi likes it, she will keep doing it while cooing and admiring the big kitty. But if Tsavi is not liking it, Harmony will back off and just carefully try to pet her normally on the back, feeling a little sad. But regardless while this is going on, she will be listening to what Aisha is saying, confused as she talked about rejoining Toril after being trapped in it's mirror. She did understand and feel bad that Aisha got brought here right when she was about to get a treasure, how she wished that she had been asked first. Surprisingly Jove knew about that mirror world, Abeir where Aisha was from before being in Toril before hearing Aisha ask what they have done along with anything and everything else that they know.
T'savi didn't purr, but she didn't seem to dislike it. T'savi could sense she was somewhere she shouldn't be, and it was making her a bit nervous. if not for her mistress' presence she might be much worse off. It was clear in the tension of her muscles. Regardless, since no one had yet answered her questions, she turns to Abraxus. Tapping her claw on his chest, soft enough tat it didnt prick or hurt. Aisha apologizes for seeming to ignore you earlier. She was .. distrracted. But it is a pleasure, this one assumes, to meet you, and you as well All-live Olive... It seems we have all been pulled here against our will, and each of us is enjoying it to differing degrees. It seems you are also waiting for your uh... not bosses... uh.. contractors? employers? Aisha cannot think of the prroper word, but she thinks you understand what she means, to returrn, for your payment, as well as with information, yes?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"That's right, Aisha," Abraxas says. "We are waiting for Mitsi." He looks farther into the building, hoping to perceive (24) a doorway into the Order's library. "Olive has already asked for our payment at least once."
If he can see the entrance to the library, Abraxas will suggest he and Jove go and start seeing what they can discover. If not, he'll wait with Harmony and the others until Mitsi and Oli finish their conversation.
Can party members hear what they are saying? Another perception roll to listen for Abraxas: 22
Most of the doorways look similar from the lobby. The building is rather large, and from the looks of things, possibly contains more than one library.
Mitsi and Oli walked out of sight, and can not be heard through the activity in the Order's main room.
Your background as a Sage will certainly help you find information you need as long as you can access it.
Mitsi returns alone after a few minutes, waddling back to her desk. "I've heard all I need to from Oli. It seems you have made a good impression on him, and you represented yourselves well. Negotiating past three separate parties and neutralizing the Ice Basilisk's magic without bloodshed? I like the looks of you."
"As I informed you before you accepted the investigation, there is no reward," she says, glaring hard at Olive. "However, while I do not appreciate being pestered for money, these lost journals are worthy of being rewarded. Oli tells me you have business on Vandyr, and you have expressed interest in access to our libraries, so here is what I will do. There is a long waiting list to utilize our teleportation circles to Vandyr, and a rather expensive charge. The moon is a dangerous place, and we limit access to certain times of places. For you, however, I will temporarily grant unfettered access to Vandyr. You may come and go as you please while you need to, free of charge."
"Our libraries are restricted to members of our order. Since you are already going to Vandyr, I will be happy to induct you if you can return our lost artifact to us: The Orb of the Magi. And there is a monetary reward for that," she tells Abraxas, finishing with a wink in Olive's direction.
Mitsi is behind the same desk when you return to the Order of Thalassa, which is still filled with scribes and acolytes hard at work.

"Aisha, I am Abraxas Onassis. It is good to have another ally." Abraxas had worked with a few Tabaxi in Waterdeep. He smiled at the memory.
"Misti, if you'll point me toward your library? I can start looking."

For Aisha:

'Butts' Aisha smirks at Jove, keeping her eyes locked to his, even as her hand stealthily approaches his coinpurse...
((OOC - Just to be clear, No I won't be stealing from any of you, but she is Capricious, and Flirty by nature, and I feel this is a good way to get her personality to the forefront. Though it doesn't mean she won't do that to others~ Also I think the DM just gave us free-reign to chat with each-other))
Occassional Dungeon Master.
OOC: "purrrfect" I like this one already. Lol

Occassional Dungeon Master.
Occassional Dungeon Master.
Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
For Abraxas:
See my profile for all my PbP threads!
Jove asks, "Do you have any information on this Orb? When did it go missing? Where was it last seen? What does it look like?"
