(Perhaps not the wisest course of action, but sometimes young adventurers are foolhardy)
I whisper to Noche that I am going to shoot the creature and to ready his attack. I am assuming I have advantage, since he can't see me and hoping I also have surprise so that I can get a "free" attack.
Hoyle readies an arrow and the close confine of the tunnel makes it somehow harder but he takes his time and manages to shoot at the creature.
You all hear a large keening sound as the beast howl in pain and moves back several feet in search of what just hit him.
For the others, the scratching stops and you can hear the loud steps fade away rapidly.
Squirming next to Hoyle Noche opens his mouth wide and spew acids on the beast. The creature takes 3 Dam of acid
(Hoyle and Noch will have either to move back to the others or get out in the room or get a disadvantage on their next attack rolls because the tunnel is getting crowded.)
NP, I thought there was debris in the room that we were hiding behind. If I have time before the creature gets to me, I will tell Noche to crawl back to the party as fast as he can and I will do the same.

(Tait will hold action. If something comes bursting out of the door, he will hit it with magic missile.)
Tait leans his staff along a nearby wall. With his wand in his left hand and his dagger in his right, he prepares against something coming through the door.
Talon would drop his weapon with the sound of a Yelp like a scared dog before casting eldritch blast towards the door that the beast is scratching at..
Talon sends a blast of power toward the door which already much battered down, explodes outward revealing a long corridor.
On the far end of the corridor an armored form stops in its tracks and turns toward the group. Eyes glowing red in its helm it starts moving back toward the source of the sound.
Hoyle and Noche have no problem sliding backward in the tunnel. It will take you a full round to get out off though.
Seeing as no one else is close to it now, Joshua will get within 15 ft and create a thunderous noise from his lute. DC13 con save or 12 thunder damage and pushed 10ft back. On success half damage no push. Joshua will run back as far as possible with movement.
So the creature as not gone in yet. It is scratching at the door. The wood is not going to hold for long but you can't see it yet.
Hoyle is at the edge of the room (26) while the reste of the group is in 24. The creature is behind the door leading to the 25 a b c.
The giant dog/rat coming into 26 hasn't seen Hoyle yet.
In the room (24) you can glimpse at the first splinters in the door and a strange pugnant and coily odor begins to feel the room.

How badly wounded does the creature look? Sorry, but I was working under the assumption that we were out of the tunnel. My bad...
Seems to you it took a hit but not a life threatening one. You were hiding from the beast so I thought that you would stay in the tunnel.

You 'll need to make an Acrobatics check. DC 12

All of those above the Beast can make their moves.
If you need clarification you can ask. It will take time to move rumbles from the door.

The moving armor, 3, is pushed back, crackling rays of lightning playing all over its body and smoke coming out.
Charging in after Joshua, Arric runs up to the armor and just swings at it’s helmet with his morningstar.
Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
There is a distinct sound of metal meeting metal but the morningstar is just swept aside.
Noche is scrambling out of the hole.
