Gig, after being searched, will look each guard in their eyes while everyone else speaks. He then looks at Pilos, "If we happen to find the traitors, are they to be arrested and brought back to camp?"
Pilos nods. “Of course, Patrol. Do what you think is necessary. Good luck out there.” The gates swing open, mirroring the same mechanism on the other side of this pass. The rain again comes down in torrents as you progress out. For the remaining eight hours of the day, you travel through many similar passes, although they seem to be less uptight than the first. Eventually, darkness falls.
''Apparently, our metal friend here does not need to sleep so we could let him watch out for threats while we sleep.'' Oruk will start to set up his bedroll, used to wilderness.
Gig will look around for a relatively safe spot to set up a flameless camp: ((If you need Perception or Investigation, add +5 or +1 to the roll, respectively: 16))
"Let's go no flame. We don't want anyone to know we are here. Since the metal one doesn't require sleep, it'd be a smart idea to set him up for first watch, if he so wishes. If not, I'll gladly take it." Gig says in his usual gruff and emotionless but pleasant tone. ((I feel like those two adjectives cancel each other out, but we will roll with it lmao))
You find as good a spot as any to set up camp. Your decision to go flameless is somewhat moot, as the rain still pours, soaking any surrounding firewood. You all settle down to hard tack and stale flatbread (except, obviously, Slasher) and turn in for the night. Slasher, can I have three perception checks (all with disadvantage as you do not have darkvision and there is no light)
Somewhere in the middle of the night, the downpour lightens up to a drizzle. This, in combination with Slasher's batteries recharging, allows the machine to catch sight of three figures approaching the campsite, back lit by the rising sun.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gig will slowly stand up and grab his greatsword that he keeps next to him in it's sheathe. He will peer out to the direction Slasher is referring to. Perception: 22
Gig: You can’t make out faces or features with the sun behind them, but you can make out bulky frames and what look to be large weapons in their hands (held at the ready, not in an active or aggressive manner).

"I will not sleep however I can not see in the dark"
Slasher will find somewhere he can sit to be 'powered down' and kind of see the others in the dark.

In the beginning of the night, Slasher is very out of it, but as he charges up, he gets more perceptive

Slasher will wake everyone up, starting with Gig, then the other half-orcs and then the rest. "Three people are coming this way, not sure who or why."
