You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
"So it sounds like our plan has three major roles: 1: Bait, 2: Bridge-destroyer, 3: Trap-springer. It seems like Yeemik is either unwilling to try and lure out Klarg, or can't think of anything that would get him out of his den. Part of me wants to try to use charm person, but if I do that we need to discuss what the backup plan is if that doesn't work. If his mind is too strong to fall for my enchantment, then it's practically guaranteed that his body will succeed my wind magic, Yeemik described him as a brute that can kill two goblins with one punch, and my powers can't lift a strong person who does not want to be lifted."

"The thing about your bugbear," Vimak says, "is they love ambushing. They are very good at it." He sits in front of the fire, talking to his colleagues, the goblins, whoever will listen. "And they hit hard. Like, twice as hard as most things their size. Wear hide armor, shields. They'll use morningstars and javelins. Not well made weapons. No. But bugbears know how to put a point on iron." He sharpens another one of his axes as he talks. The whetstone out again, slowing humming over the edge of his weapon. "And their chiefs, their leaders? Fanatics. Not likely to be charmed. And they attack as hard as but twice as often as your regular bugbear. Hope we're not dealing with one of those. We ought to stay as close as possible, in case any of us need help, especially the bait."
Cirrus has begun to eat out of one his ration boxes, having some breakfast. Talking to Vimak, "So are you suggesting that I not try to charm him at all? I understand that it might not work, but I just want to know if we are completely putting it completely off the table."

(OOC: I think you guys really need to stop listening to Herman sometimes. He's lazy and paranoid so will come up with elaborate plans to avoid simple combat.)
Herman says to the group, "In case Cirrius' charm fails, we need to have a back up plan. If springing the water trap looks to be too risky, we could try skipping a step and going straight to pounding the bugbear into the ground right after the bridge falls. As for a back up, maybe we can do something like this:
Cirrius will walk over and try to charm our target. If all goes well plan, continues normally with the bridge destruction and then the water trap. If the charm fails, either Cirrius runs for it towards the bridge, hoping that the bugbear will follow or the trap springer, and the bridge destroyer come to his aid. Perhaps... the wolves can go with Cirrius and if things turn sour, try to aim for the bugbear's legs to drop him prone and render him unable to move.
If this plan (Plan A) is too risky for the bait, we could try a military style attack from 3 sides; simple and effective but we'd be attacking the foe at their strongest. (Plan C)"
(OOC: Technically, we can't do an "attack from 3 sides" because Klarg's cave only has 2 entrances.)

"One more part of the plan we haven't mentioned: getting our supplies out of the hideout. Are we trusting that the goblins will just let us take our stuff back after we take out their tyrannical boss? If the charm spell works, I bet I could get him to carry some of our stuff out for us. I don't know how long it would take to get all of it out. I guess we would have to take as much as we can and kill him right before time runs out." He then whispers just incase the goblins are listening,
"I am afraid the goblins will see us taking supplies out of the cave and turn on us, and I'm not sure if we can take on the rest of the goblin horde. Although, if they do that while Klarg is charmed, I could probably suggest that he fight the goblins and who are attacking his new best friend Cirrus." He makes that last remark with a sly look on his face. His tone of voice reminds you of any stories you might have heard about a tricky wish-granting creature that puts horrible and humorous twists on the wishes they grant.
"As a matter of fact, if my charm spell works on him, it doesn't make any sense to destroy the bridge. So maybe I will be the bait, try and charm him, and if I succeed I will get everything we need out of him (information, our supplies, etc.), then before the spell wears off, I will lift him into the air (and he won't resist, because he trusts me so much), and then we will take him out while he is completely immobilized."
"I absolutely do not want to go face Klarg alone, I am not very strong, I'm just good at running. So I would like to have some muscle back me up in case something goes wrong."
"on the topic of something going wrong, if my charm spell doesn't work, then we have a completely situation to deal with. Yeemik's description of Klarg gave me the impression that he is not the type of man who would get up and chase me if he saw me. He might sic his wolves on me, but he's not gonna leave his den. So if my spell doesn't work, then we don't have another way to get him out. So, I guess, if my charm spell doesn't work, then he will sic his dogs on me, then I guess we will kill them while he just sits in the cave? Then after that I guess we will all go back to his den and I will try to command the wind to lift him up and we will kill him then. Then we stuff as much as we can into our packs, and grab Sildar on the way out."
"Now, if BOTH if those attempts at spell casting fail, then we are really gonna be up the river without a paddle. And unless anyone has an 'if all else fails' plan other than 'group up and hit it till it dies,' I think we might have a plan. I think for the most part we can stick together, since there's really one main path to Klarg and I think that we are stronger the less we split up. I'm not sure if we will even use the water trap. Maybe if the charm spell fails, then we might have to push the wolves into the river and then activate the trap to flush them out of the cave, then we don't have to spend much energy fighting them."
"Last thing that we need to consider, which may be determined based on how we decide to arrange our group: I have whipped a tune to provide some Inspiration before we head into this confrontation, but I don't know who needs it most. Any suggestions?"
With all of this extensive planning laid out, he will listen to any commentary/additions that the group may provide, he will ask Yeemik, "I understand your reluctance to connect yourself to this revolt, but what if we could guarantee that Klarg was completely immobilized? Would you be willing to send in however many of your goblins are good with a bow who could take shots at him from a comfortable distance, at little to no risk to themselves, depending on how smoothly our plan goes? Perhaps upon receiving some kind of signal phrase? And if so, what would you want that to be?"
(OOC: Jeez louise, I feel like I need to make a flow chart for this plan, I made it so complicated.)

Vimak says, "It's the chiefs that resist charms. This one bullies goblins rather than other bugbears, so he's probably not a chief." He pops his knuckles The sound echoes around the cave. "Let's try to lure the bugbear onto the bridge and see if we can cut the bridge out from under it. We can attack it at range then, from up above it. Maybe flood the stream it's in as well. "
Herman doesn't have anything else useful to add to this plan. He says half joking and half serous, "I have a plan for if everything fails: Hit it till it dies. And if that fails, not dying to a bugbear is the better part of Valor and we get the hell out of here and run as far away from this cave as possible. We then pretend that we died in the cave and move to a different town and start our new lives as a traveling bard (Cirrius) and his bodyguards."

I don't know exactly how many are following me, I assume one or both of the other party members will be hanging back, in case we need to spring the water trap. I'd like to rewrite history a little bit and add in that the signal Cirrus will use to tell the rest of the party "the charm didn't work" will be a song that he sings.
Vimak, Cirrus, the wolves, and whoever will be staying near Cirrus will head out of the cavern they spent the night in, and as they travel across the bridge Cirrus whispers to Vimak, "Thank you for coming with me," and they move into the water trap room, stopping at H21 and G21, so that there is no way that whoever is in the final room of this cavern could see them.
I will post what I do next once I see what Herman and Gilari are up to.

Herman will stay behind in K16 so that if the charm works and the bridge collapses or the water trap is sprung, he will be close by to spring into action and shoot the enemy with his bow. If Cirrus signals the charm didn't work, he can then climb the chimney and reach Cirrus faster.
